I loved this shop! I came from out of town and needed my nails and waxing done for a wedding. My nails came out so cute. I initially asked for a different design, but they were honest and told me they could only do something similar. The final result turned out better than what I wanted originally! I appreciate these ladies and I hope to come back in the future.

Loved the experience nails look amazing little expensive for what I got but I get it there making money. Loved the girl that did my nails very nice and a perfectionist which is amazing because I like my nails even.

I love coming here. They have excellent customer service. My nails come out amazing everytime and my pedicures couldnt be more relaxing.

Ive been coming here often and I must say that the staff is very professional and talented. My nails last and look amazing which is perfect for their amazing prices. They work very diligently and care about the customer. As for COVID-19 they are taking great precautions as to making sure everyone is safe. I recommend going here.

I love Qyunh! She always takes her time to make sure my nails look absolutely PERFECT before I leave. I’ve never had a tech be so amazing with shaping too! She is quick yet very thorough and has never hurt me with any of the tools. Very gentle with everything. She also does really great designs! I’ve been twice and will always be going back.

Great to be able to return to Beauty Essence after such a long time away because of Covid. The place was immaculate, as always and the staff so friendly and welcoming. Its a tranquil oasis with measures in place to ensure clients feel safe and secure. Would highly recommend.

I decided to come to this nail salon last minute as I am out of town and my nails were absolutely horrendous and broken. Initially the services were not too bad until one of the employees cut through the skin in my nail and I started bleeding. Granted the skin under my nail had grown quite a bit because I have long nails but she should’ve been more careful and attentive.The remainder of my time there was a bit uncomfortable as I was sitting in a pedicure chair but also getting my hands worked on.I wish I would’ve gotten a more comfortable experience after paying $84 and not even being accommodated for being cut, which was very painful.

Reckless and lazy with the acrylic machine, cut my skin. Did not replace broke nails. Failed to replace UV machine with another one after having trouble with it she’s continue to use it after it would go off every time I put my hands on it.

Queen did my pedicure and dip manicure, and did a great job! Her massage was AMAZING with good firm pressure. Im very happy with my services.

SO DISAPPOINTED!! I got dip on my nails & shellac on my toes. & I PAID $92 FOR BOTH. The fact that this has barely been ONE week & my nails look like this. That’s crazy. I’ve never spent this much on nails EVER. So overpriced & clearly not worth it. ):I came in on Friday July 12th in the afternoon. No signs were posted about how much the services are. I paid with cash because that’s all that they take (which I was unaware of). Just disappointed on lack of communication & signage. No reason why dip should last only a week when it’s supposed to last longer than gel. ):

Walked in this week for a manicure and the staff got me in within 15 minutes. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. The gel fullset I got was just perfect, exactly how I wanted and their pricing is decent.

Leaving and wanting to find another salon to fix the job you just got done is not how I like to spend money. only the pinky fingers have long nails and the rest were the same length I walked in with from the set I had for a month. yet I was charged for length. the size difference is wild and noticeable. there are bumps and ridges on the sides of all of them. the prices are very misleading. I also feel like most of the pictures advertised arent all nail jobs done by the salon. you think you know around how much youll be spending and next thing you know theyre trying to overcharge you for a poorly done set of nails. I was told the price on the menu in store didnt apply to acrylics but I checked the site again and it very much did say it was for acrylics. the nails curve downwards so much and she tried to tell me that was normal when Ive gotten my nails done enough to know it isnt. the only good thing about the nails was the paint job.

The best professionals work here! They are all excellent. I drive a long distance to get here, because it’s worth it. The shellac manicures are world class, and require very little work when removing the old polish. They’re also good with ingrown toenails.

The best nails experience Ive ever had! Super clean and nicely organized salon. They Gabe me great pedicure service and reasonable price. Plus they gave me a great foot massage and scrub my foot and it felt so good and smooth. I loved everything and very Happy with the service!

My Mom, Sister and I all frequent Vogue Nails. They all do a lovely job and they are quicker than other places I have been. Clean and relaxing environment. They do brows too!

It was over priced and my pedicure was done very poorly. They didnt even remove the nail polish I had on, they just painted over it. I live two blocks away from this salon but in the future I will go out of my way to go somewhere else. Also, they dont except cards which is very inconvenient.

I am Very upset with the quality of work. Went to get a full set and have my eyebrows waxed and colored. I asked her to color my eyebrows light brown but instead she used dark brown.

Yen, is an amazing nail artist and is super fun to talk to. I am always happy with how she does my nails. Also, the salon has recently been renovated and its quite pretty inside. The pedicure chairs are new and fabulous. I highly recommend Yen and the salon!

I went with two friends for a pedicure day.I opted for the middle of three pedicure options, which was supposed to include the essential oil of my choice with extended foot /calf massage. While I did get lavender oil scenting my foot spa, I got the same level of foot rub that my two friends got, which was minimal.My friend opted for the additional intensive callus removal for $5. The providers hand slipped, and she gouged a large piece of skin from the topside of her outer toe knuckle. There was a fair amount of bleeding, and my friend was in obvious discomfort. While the provider did make a quick apology, she did not seem overly concerned, offer a bandage, or even offer a discount- in fact, she charged the full $5 fee for callus removal.Within three days, the only hint of pedicure that remained was my polish. Absolutely lackluster.I wont be returning.

The nail artist was super sweet and accommodating to my needs. She has been doing this for YEARS and is very quick and talented at her work.

This is hands down the best nail shop in Portland! I always have a good time. They are friendly and accomdating and do a fantastic job. I have since taken multiple friends here and they are always impressed with the cleanliness and quality.

I love this place. My best friend introduced me to it and I introduced my sister to it and weve been going there now for a couple of years. I have gotten acrylic nails, pedicures, and eyebrow waxing done and have never had a bad experience.

Ive been going here for 15 years and Vogue Nails II consistently great. I get the best shellac/gel manicures & regular polish pedicures here. When I go with a friend to another salon every month or so Im always disappointed - Vogue Nails II work always looks the best and last the longest. Most of the staff are indeed Vietnamese, thus the speak Vietnamese when conversing with each other, why this is an issue for anyone Ill never know. I have never once in all my 15 years had a language. Highest recommendation!

Ive gone here a lot, including while pregnant, and always had a great experience. The spa pedicure is a good deal, with awesome leg massage and callous removal. I have some serious callouses from soccer, they take care of me. The polish lasts about 3-4 weeks, for me, Ive found other pedicures not to last so long. Dont let one overheated internet user dissuade you.

I will definitely come back here for a manicure but not sure about the pedicure. I felt the pedicure was rushed and I didn’t have much time to relax. And because it was so quick I felt it was overpriced at $28. However the shellac manicure is great so far 💅🏼

I think that this salon was really nice, personally. The nail polish was really nice, and didnt chip off. The people their were not amazingly friendly, but friendly enough.

First time in and it was great. Staff are very attentive

The first time I went in I asked for a eyebrow and chin wax. The lady did an amazing job on my eyebrows but misunderstood and waxed my lip instead before anything and I just paid for it anyways. Misunderstandings happen sometimes and its not something to get upset over. However she left a patch on my chin and I was upset about that. The second time I asked for a brow wax and they lady was quick but I gave her a 20$ and she gave me 7$ back. I dont know what the prices for services were and I even checked online and nothing was there other then what services they provide. There was no brochures on the counter and nothing on the walls either. I feel like I may have been cheated out of some money or paid for an overpriced wax. The salons in the mall close by doesnt even charge that much and so I am quite curious if that was actually the price or if the lady who gave me change just stole some money from me.

For one a fill cost $26 and its not a real fill! She started taking the polish off, left some of the polish on then began to apply the acrylic overlay! Smh all she did was buff my nails and asked me to wash my hands, I ended up filing my nails on my own. After I complained she got rough with my hands and began to pout. When it came to drying my nails, before my nails were dry she snatched the dryer from under my hands. When I asked what her may was she refused to tell me. Im very dissatisfied with their customer service and it was my first time at this shop. I will never go back! Worst experience ever!!!!

The price is right! $35 for a mani/pedi:-) Ive been here many times over the past 2 or 3 years and always had great service. They do a fabulous job and they take walk-ins. Its the only place I will go!

I use this place often - I get both mani and pedis here and never had a problem. Its small but warm, easy to park, and I like the staff. Ive always used vietnamese nail places as opposed to other ethnicity, they just seem to understand and get the task done for a great price.Jim

Not only was I told one price and then charged more at checkout, but my nails are only a few days old and I already need to go get them fixed. I have two nails that are completely broken off and another two of my nails have chipped (gel) polish.
