I have had the best experience having my acrylics done here. Seriously, the best service, cleanest facility and highly skilled artists! I am a repeat customer. And I have even been convinced to get waxed there before as well because they are just that good. Compared to the nearby nail salons, they far exceeded the competition. Their location is kind of hidden but finding the store is a total reward and I would definitely recommend this business. The workers are super nice too! 💅👏👏👏💕

The ladies of Lavie took excellent care of me! I used their Groupon deal for a facial with hand and foot treatment. I came in feeling like normal, but floated out! They were clean, professional, competent, and friendly. The massaging chair with foot bath was relaxing, all the lotions and potions smelled and felt good. I had the best experience here last week! I was in town for work and had a nail emergency. I was able to book online the night before. Went in for a powder dip and pedicure. Terrific service, fun conversation and lovely nails. Will definitely go back next time I visit Portland. Theresa is awesome!

My experience was delightful. Mary and Kendra were warm and accommodating. We enjoyed a friendly chat while my overdue toes and tired calves got gentle and soothing attention, after a nice soak in an herbal elixir. They are observing guidelines for safety and wellbeing. This is the most all around best pedicure service Ive had here in Portland.

I could not believe how well Nga did my feet. Other places I have gone have almost always hurt my feet. Nga was just so perfect in taking care of my feet. Nga and I communicated very well and we chatted as she worked and in what felt was no time at all she was done. I was there in the chair for about 45 minutes and it felt like time stood still. I recommend Lavie Nails to all in the greater portland area as the place to get your feet done and Nga should do it.

Let me preface this by saying I have never left a review in my life. However, Mary at Lavie Nails made me want to write 100 5-star reviews for this place! She was beyond meticulous, kind, and a great conversationalist! I felt like I was with a friend. I got a shellac pedi and Mary and another Lavie technician helped me pick the perfect spring color for my toes (and I am an extremely indecisive person). I cant wait to go back to get a dip manicure ASAP. Plus, they have a parking lot!

Great place! The herbal detox pedicure was AMAZING!!! My feet are so smooth and I was really relaxed. My technician was the best. She was so nice and did a great job. She also helped me pick out a really beautiful color for my shellac manicure. I will definitely be back!

My Mom, BF, and myself booked 3 pedicures online (as Lavie are now appointment only due to covid). First off, I was very glad that I was able to call the location ahead of time to make adjustments for said appointments. The pedicures themselves were wonderful- I recommend the Deluxe if you’re a fan of great foot massages that help increase circulation. The technicians were kind, welcoming, and all around wonderful. I also felt very comfortable/safe with the covid practices they have in place. I would definitely recommend to everyone I know.

Scheduled an appointment online and got a confirmation. When I showed up for my scheduled appointment, the place was close. Took multiple attempts to have someone answer the phone and we agreed on 40 minutes. When I come back after 50 minutes again found it closed. They had called me twice in between to verify the service I needed (online system not working??). When I call one more time after waiting for an hour, they tell me to wait another 8 minutes. At that point, I found it hard to believe and decided not to keep wasting my time.

AWESOME! Theres no other way to describe this nail salon. I was able to check their availability/ make an appt. through Yelp. From the moment I walked in, to the moment I left, the service was outstanding and I felt very comfortable. I was offered a drink at the beginning as well as when my nails were drying after my service was complete. I didnt get the womans name who did my nails, but every single person that worked in the salon greeted me even though I was not their client. I just moved to Portland a couple of weeks ago and I am SO happy I found the perfect nail salon so quickly. Oh- and affordable on top of all that!

Had a fantastic experience! Shellac manicure and pedicure for $69 is a steal! The lady that did the massage for the pedicure was fantastic and the nail tech that did my Mani has some serious art skills! Will absolutely be back here.

Quality service! Doesnt waste time and not overpriced. Clean interior as well. They said if you have a chip or broken nail within the week, you can get it fixed for free. Very convenience that they even open on Sunday in downtown. Definitely recommended.

I just have had a pedicure at LaVie nails. They did a very good job. Thorough acupressure massage. Nice polish paint on my toes. The technician did my pedi is very friendly and very detailed in asking what I need for my pedicure.Cuticle trim and toe cut shape is exactly what I asked for. The salon has relaxing atmosphere as well.I would come back here again as regular customer.

And Mary is just so great to be around - very knowledgeable and beautiful in and out! I had not a care in the world while Mary worked her magic on me!! We had steam, cream, a creamy mask, warm steamy towels, and face and shoulder massage with the gentleness of a butterfly and the most glorious scents - and dont worry - if no scents is your thing, you have a choice - also I was asked about allergies and various questions and so I was confident that I was in good hands!! Literally! . Not only do I finally feel that my skin is well cared for - but it is an experience I look forward to again - and again...!!! I enjoy the quiet, clean, attentive atmosphere here. My pedicures have been top quality with special attention paid to the rough skin on my heels. I love the comfy arm chairs. I havent had a manicure here yet but definitely will in the future. Its worth the extra cost for the high quality personal attention and cleanliness.

I was hesitant to visit this place due to some bad reviews, but its close to work so I chanced it after a rough day. So glad I did! The deluxe pedicure was fantastic. Foot soak, sugar scrub, paraffin wrap, and extended massage for $36 is a great value no matter where you go. Newer pedicure thrones were clean looking and the massage chair felt great. The lady who did my pedicure was friendly as well. Beverages (tea, soda, wine, champagne, etc) are no extra cost, but stick with the champagne as it tasted the best by far. I think the red wine is just grape juice.They take credit cards but make sure to bring some cash for tip. When they ran my card it automatically set the tip to $0 so Im glad I had some cash on hand for the lady. Overall a great experience.

Theresa did an excellent job making sure my brows were even and the shape I wanted. The topical numbing was enough to make it so I hardly felt anything. I almost fell asleep! I love my new brows and they havent looked this natural in a long time.

I went in for a shellac manicure and left in tears. I had long, strong natural nails that I wanted shaped from round to almond and my tech completely ruined my nails. I literally cannot stress enough how completely uneven and frankly embarrassing they looked, no one would think it looked even remotely acceptable. I tried to fix them myself, but eventually left before the polish was applied because I knew I’d need to clip them down completely and start over. She also clipped my cuticles and made them bleed in a couple places. Very disappointing and I will not be going back.

Went in for a polish change from someone else and had a much better experience! My color before was lumpy, not at all what I wanted, and they had also cut me in multiple spots. I also had, had my nails rounded but they were rough and misshapen.Lavie got me in at 4:00pm the next day, were gentle on my nails, and I didnt wait much at all. The girl acknowledged the messy work from before, actually spoke to me a bit and tried to have conversation, and fixed my nail shape! She also said if it chips within a week then to come back and theyll fix it. They were also less expensive than before.I will definitely be returning & switching to this salon for future appointments.

I paid $40 for a nail fill because they charge $22 for the acrylic fill plus $18 for the gel polish!! I would love to come back here but with them charging what I would pay for a full set for a fill.... no thank you!

Always pleased when I leave La Vie. All the staff members are very nice and always help me with what I need. I would highly reccomend this salon to everyone. I get my acyrlics done here and they always hold up longer than usual and still look fresh weeks later. I will always come back to la vie!!!

I was honestly disappointed. I went because it was close to work. First off, a regular pedicure is 26, which is a great deal, but $43 for shellac?? Thats ridiculous!! What a crazy price mark up! Ive been to so many salons and have never paid that much before tip! They barely scrubbed my feet and the water was too hot for comfort even after I had them change it. I brought 40 in cash thinking it would cover the bill and had to draw from the bank because they prefer cash and I couldnt not tip, thats rude.

Horrible experience! Here on vacation and went to get my nails done charged me 41 dollars to only put polish everywhere not just on my nail but sloppy. And did not smooth my nails out or shape them nicely! So unhappy very inexperienced!!!

I’m honestly embarrassed by how my name look right now. The technician ripped out a huge chunk of my nail multiple times and got in an argument with the other technician. And there is polish all over my hands and it’s Gel so it’s not coming off, if I could give this place zero stars I absolutely would. She was rude to me from the second I walked in and just completely did a bad job on my nails super unhappy, spend your money elsewhere. And honestly I think the fact that I am a black male wasn’t helping anything either. Completely unacceptable.

This place doesnt deserve any stars. Me and my friend received gift cards for Lavie, we went for a mani pedi. It ended up taking 2 1/2 hours for just the Pedi so we skipped getting manicures because it was getting late. The best part is that they still charged us $30 for the mani that we never got because they pushed back the cuticles .Its a solid no. I will never spend my own money here.

I came in to get my nails done for my graduation. However, although the people were attentive, the job was horrible made. I was charged almost $70 for uneven nails, is been 6 days and they are lifting from the cuttle. One hand is thinner, while the other are thicker. The filling on a thumb goes past the nail bed. I am very disappointed with the service I received, even more so that I paid for a job not done correctly. I dont recommend this place.

I’ve been at this place before for waxing and manicure and never really had an issue before rather than redness on my face from waxing but this time I just got shocked! I returned home with a scratch on my face that still itches the next day . I’ve been waxing for years all around Europe and US and never had ANY issue but this time that was something that no woman in the world can accept, scratch on my face from waxing ?! Seriously?!I wish I could post the picture here but I can’t from iPhone I sent it to their email though so hopefully they can look at it . Unfortunately I’m afraid to come back ! I’m sorry .

I received 75$ in a gift certificates and Ill never go againMy first visit was a set of nails ( Ive had nails on /off for 18 yrs) got them on Sat by Monday one nail popped off got it fixed and by wed another nail popped off got that fixed by the following day my thumb nail broke in half Tuesday night I went back in to get a full told him Im gong on a cruise on Friday please I dont want to break any nails on my cruise so he filled my nails and 2 days later I was talking in the car I hit my hand lightly on the window and broke my nail the night before my cruise I had to buy super glue to fix my nail I left for my cruise on that Friday and by the following Thurs I broke 3 more nails doing simple tasksPulling up my underwear, grabbing a towel off the towel bar ECT... I wont waste anymore money there too bad it was super close to my apt and easy to get in
