My friend and I have been trying local nail places to find our favorite and this one is definitely it! They were super nice there, and we both ended up loving the shape and quality of our nails. I did a five different dip blues for $51, and my friend did a fun cow print for $61.

This is by far the best nail salon Ive been to in my life! And I am someone who get their nails done every two weeks and loves to try new places! So I have pretty much been everywhere even outside of Oregon! When you first walk in it is very beautiful but not so fancy that you feel out of place they really nailed it on decor. This is nothing compared to the amazing service that I get every time I go in there! I love how they treat you like family and how they really strive to give you exactly what you want! Oanh (one) is my favorite nail tech! She is amazing! She can do ANY design! She actually loves a challenge! So I just keep on bringing her more difficult designs and she continues to impress me! My favorite thing about her strategic work is the shaping of my nails! She takes her sweet time and it comes out perfect EVERY TIME! She NEVER rushes the process. She is such a perfectionist which means you should be prepared for a longer than usual appointment time for the best possible outcome! Totally worth it!

Oh my goodness. Where do I even start?! From start to finish, this was the best nail experience I’ve ever had. The staff was amazing from the minute stepping into the door. SO friendly and the salon was VERY clean (and I’m a huge germaphobe so that’s saying something). This nail appointment was extremely important to me since they are the nails for my wedding day! I was lucky enough to have Mary do my nails and they turned out AMAZING. I showed her a picture I had found and she replicated it perfectly. They are absolutely beautiful and exactly what I wanted. I also got the citrus pedicure and it turned out amazing as well and was the BEST foot/calf massage I’ve ever ever gotten at a nail salon by a mile! Mary took her time and made sure that everything was exactly how I wanted it. She was kind, professional and great at her job! The 4 other girls that got their nails done all said they are some of the best mani/pedis they’ve ever gotten. We had a great time and cannot thank the staff enough! If you need your nails done…look no further!!!! Come here.

Nice staff, great color selection, easy atmosphere and scheduling. This salon offers gel, dip, acrylic and regular nail treatments. Sip a boozy or hydrating drink while you get your service and remember to tip your tech well💅🏿.

I went in today and Mary did my pearl bomb pedicure and shelac fill. This is my second time visiting this establishment, and both times the work was top notch. Mary takes her time and does an excellent job. I am extremely picky and she leaves me with smiles and not one complaint or concern. It is so refreshing to visit a business that is welcoming and professional, I will definitely continue driving from the happy valley area to continue getting fills and pedicures at this salon

I noticed this place when I was at Memoz Cafe and stopped by to see if they were still open. I saw one customer had picked a BEAUTIFUL metallic blue. Their nails looked so natural that I decided to get my nails done right then and there. They welcomed me with open arms at 5:15PM (closed at 6PM on Saturdays). My nails looked a TINY bit bulky but thats only because I picked a super light color so they had to do multiple layers. If I had chosen another pink color, my nails would have looked just as natural as the other customers. Regardless, my nails still look good. But I hope the other customer post their nails because it looked AMAZING. Overall, the service was great. Everyone was super friendly and they even gave out red envelopes to me AND my partner (not a customer) since it was Lunar New Years. The only downsides are the prices and the polish that isnt as close to my cuticles as I would like. Other than that, Im happy with my experience and my nails.

Aonh and Nhu are amazing people! I came with my mom and little brother and we all got pedicures and my mom got a full set. We got here around 6:10 and they were able to finish all three of us in 2 hours and 30 minutes. They are so kind and the do an outstanding job with pedicures and full set!! I definitely recommend American Nail Bar and will be seeing them very soon! Thank you American Nail Bar!!☺️❤️

I’ve been coming here for the past year and I am always blown away by the amazing level of service! They do excellent manis and pedis, gel pedis, and dip manis. Their prices are the same as any salon in Portland but the quality is so much higher than anywhere else I’ve tried. The owners are so friendly and Mary always does an incredible job! I can’t recommend them enough!

Absolutely obsessed. I walked in at 6:00 pm with no appointment. They seated me immediately and finished my nails in one hour. I got a tip with dip powder and they look absolutely beautiful. Everyone I spoke to was as kind as could be. They were attentive, helpful and fun to speak to. I think Ive written two reviews in my life but I loved them so much I wanted to do all I could to show my appreciation!

A few highlights:* Huge selection of dip nail colors and brands* Great attention to detail and lasting manicure* Safe covid practices: they collect everyone’s info upon check in, have each customer wash hands upon arrival, check temperature, wear masks and require customers to do so, space at least 6 ft between each customer, and more! Got my nails done here for the first time and i love it so much! The nail tech are very nice and friendly. i would recommend anyone to get acrylic nails done here. Im usually picky with my nails but they did such a nice job! The salon is big and clean. Best place in north portland.

I was highly impressed. The staff was on time, personable and friendly. You can tell they care about their establishment and customers and can hear them saying thank you for coming we really appreciate it multiple times. It seems like a family owned business and the younger daughters are adorable and fun they come right up and talk to you and it makes you feel like you’re a part of what they are creating. For the price, omg! Gel mani and regular pedi came to $60 and it includes massage chairs, massage from the tech, hot stones, warm towels, cuticle cutting etc. and the range of polish and service was so good. I’m sad to be moving out of Portland, but glad to know when I come to visit this is the place I will go to!

This place is TOPS for tips and toes. They do gel, dip, acrylics, and have a great selection of fancy (or not so fancy) manis and pedis with massage and hot stones and wonderful scents. THEIR CHAIRS ARE AMAZING. The decor is soothing, their location is perfect. They always remember my name, everything is clearly sterilized in packages or single use. They are clean, helpful, and my nails always look amazing. Ive had brow wax there too after Covid--i went in looking like a lumberjack and left looking like I was headed to a photoshoot. Also, they let you pay their extremely reasonable prices with VENMO! American Nail Bar is the best around. Period.

They did a good job but I’ve never paid so much for a regular manicure! A regular polish manicure here is $21!! I’m used to it being between 12 and 15. If you want dip or gel maybe their prices are comparable, but for regular polish you can totally go somewhere else for a normal price and the same quality. It’s a shame because they were nice and did a very nice job even though my person switched a couple times because only one person knew how to operate the payment iPad.

Amazing new nail salon in Portland! My daughter and I went in for powder manicures and they have over 600+ powder colors to choose from! Not only that, the customer service and care we received was phenomenal! We will definitely be back and if you’re considering a new nail salon, consider no further...this is the best place, hands/feetdown :)

I came in with my daughter to have mani/pedi’s and we had an excellent experience! We didn’t have to wait at all and everyone there was super warm and friendly. We’re so happy to have this great addition to the neighborhood. They even have parking in the lot attached to the apartment building!

Each one of us couldn’t be more pleased, not only with the quality of work but the quality of time they spent with each one of us. Never did we feel rushed especially in the best part, the massage! They went way above and beyond to provide the best customer service to ensure i enjoyed my 50th bday party. They communicated flawlessly with my daughter preparing and helping without hesitation hosting my surprise birthday shenanigans. They took all the difficulties of planning allowing the birthday crew to enjoy a day of mani & pedi’s, relaxing to soft spa like music, drinking mimosas and creating memories.
