Laundry at our apartment place sucks so my girlfriend and I started coming here and we haven’t stopped since! We love this spot, it’s very clean, super fast, and the employees are super super kind and helpful! Quick wash dryers hold up to 8 loads and only take 10 minutes, so this place has saved us from having to wait hours, and the clothes always come out clean and smelling great! Would give more stars if I could!!

I really like this place. It seems like the new owner is not as involved as the previous ones. It’s been not as clean lately and a lot of the bigger washing machines smell like mildew. The old owners were in there almost every time I was there cleaning out machine, and just general cleaning. Like I said I like this place and will continue to go, the cleaning could be better.

Clean facility with lots of modern washers and dryers available. I especially appreciate the free Sanitize cycle you can run before and after washing laundry.Prices are pretty standard - not the cheapest but not outrageous either. 8 load washer on quick wash is $12, 6 loads on Extra Dirty is like $12.75.Dryers are 25 cents for 6 minutes.Parking is good but not always open

Sunday morning it was packed so we went at a different time and were able to get our laundry done. this facility looks and feels clean. The machines are easy to use. I recommend the first time you go, you have an attendant show you how to use the washers and dryers. After the first time they show you, youll get the hang of it quick. We usually use a 5x washer which gets you an overly stuffed large plastic laundry basket size. When it says 2x load, it means its about a small round laundry basket.

This place is spotless and I like the windows for the natural light, it has a clean crisp feel unlike most laundrymat facilitys .. this place was worth the drive ..

Went there for the first time the other day and I really liked it. It was by far the cleanest laundry mat I have ever been too and they have multiple 6 or 9 load washers which is what I like to use and the dryers kickass I split 9 loads between two dryers and all of my clothes were completely dry within 20 minutes or less thats unbelievable. Favorite place by far!

Recently my washer died and things what they are buying a new one isnt in the cards ATM. So gave a run to the local laundry - and ran off. I wont name that one - but went to Belmont ECO laundry the next day - Night and Day difference! Very clean. The customers all seem to know what their doing and everyone moved through the process quickly. I immediately got washers, no wait, same with the dryers. The folding area was clean and open and this was a very valuable service that fit my needs.I had problems with understanding the dials on the machines - and its not intuitive as my home washer. At home you set the water temp, set the cycle and go. This was ... not that easy on first effort. Also, I was really put off by the price. The wash price is for an ECO basic cold water - you want warm water? .75 more. etc. so it was pricey from my point of view. Still - I have returned since this seems the local best option for me in this area.

This is great place with reasonable prices, neat and well managed.

They have a variety of different size washing machines that self sanitize before wash for free as well as a variety of different settings, prices are based on amount of different added Cycles for instance pre-soak extra rinse extra spins Etc. on-site staff make the trip worth it always. site is very well maintained and staff has always been helpful and willing to answer any questions.but most important your clothes get clean.🤔 I almost hate to rate them in fear of creating a crowded. environment.🤐

Its getting busier, but its the best laundromat Ive been to. Everything works, fair prices, and clean environment with staff.Theres also a minimart and a food cart pod nearby that are great!

The staff is nice enough but the washing machines only run for like 10 minutes and that just isnt enough time for a soak; my clothes dont smell clean even after washing with heavy soil and an extra rinse. Sadly eco friendly in this case seems to just mean not using enough water per wash.

Super clean. I got there alittle after open. First one. Watched the attendant wiping down the machines which made me feel safer. By the time I left. Probably saw 5 other people. We all had masks properly worn and kept a distance. Will deff be back if my landlord doesnt fix the washer soon lol

Super clean facility with new washers/dryers. The washers even self-sanitize on the inside prior to loading your laundry!The attendant was very helpful and informative, and within an hour, boom! Clean laundry!

We love this place, we put everything in one washer even bedding, (we have no white clothes to separate) then one dryer, and were usually out of there within an hour. Give or take 5 to 10 minutes.

Despite how filty the parking lot is - This place is great, absolutely clean inside, I had a great experience there and who gets to say that about an unwanted chore

I love this place ! I have been coming here for many many years. Way before they overhauled the place with new machines and whatnot. Its never too busy to get your wash done. Machines and dryers work fantastic. And the workers are always busy and helpful. I have actually had quite a few conversations with the owners of the place while there cause they are there a lot actually sweeping the floor and managing....go figure. Highly recommend.

I love this laundromat. Lots of machines, very nice attendants keeping the place clean and orderly and the washers and dryers clean, mellow vibe. I was quite surprised when doing my laundry on 1/28/20 to find a loud radio blaring music and commercials. Turned laundry day from an easy experience into an unpleasant one. I hope playing the radio is not a new policy and that I wont have to find a new laundromat!

Right now (6/12/20) you put clothes in wash then wait in car till ready to move to dryer. Do the same to dry. When done you take your clothes home to fold. Bathroom temp off limits as well. Social distancing for a public place. Works for me cuz they have best machines around!

Ive been coming here for years and its so lovely I almost always forget how much it sucks to not have a washer and dryer at my home. The facility is always sparkling clean, the machines are regularly serviced and the staff is always so helpful. Especially Mel! Thank you for providing such a professional and welcoming atmosphere. Been going here for years and it’s always super clean and all the machines work great and fast! The attendants are always supper friendly and very helpful. There is a nice clean bathroom and free WiFi. I have left my clothes before and went and got a beer down the street and never have worried about my clothes being stolen. The only negative thing I have to say is that it’s a little on the smaller side so it can get very busy depending on the day and time you go.There is also not much parking. All in all a great laundry mat!

This is my favorite laundry spot. The staff are always so nice and ready to help or answer any questions for newbs and they keep it very clean!! Even when it’s busy everyone (clientele included) is always really chill and respectful of each other too. We will drive out of our way to come here over other places! I am editing this review to add that my laundry has NEVER come out as clean as it does here. I mean in almost every place I’ve ever lived I have never had the washer do as good of a job as these and the dryers hardly take any time to completely dry my clothes. Also, today, a few days before Christmas, they were running some sort of holiday thing where the manager on site randomly paid for my laundry load!!! It totally made my day and now I love this place even more than I already did!! Way to go Belmont Eco Laundry!! You guys rock!!

Big, bigger, and BIGGERER machines! Easy, clean, lots of countertops for sorting and folding, baskets that actually roll, machines that take cards. Whats not to like?

Employees are always nice and the facility is always clean. The price’s are a little high but worth it because of how clean it is.

This place is great. Its always clean and there are always some machines available. Many have credit card options, too, so if youre short on quarters this is the place. The manager is very helpful and will show you how all the machines work if you need him to. Overall a very great place. This is the #1 stop for laundry in Portland.

Been coming here for the last 8 years or so and when I have to stay outside while my laundry is going and I cannot fold it there you lost my business for good. 6 miles round trip I guess its time to find one closer to home who appreciates my business.

Spendy but clean & efficient. And theyre open during the quarantine. $12 per load to use the big front load washer on Comforter setting. Ouch. No indoor seating, you need to wait in the car.

I saw Hollys 2 star review and was concerned, but finding a laundromat is not easy any more, and today I went by Spin Lounge where I had been going and it was empty of everything and fenced; shut down, looks like for good. . . so I had to find another. Came by here wondering if. Decided to try a load. Worked perfectly fine. Asked another patron how her laundry came out, if clean enough for her. She said kind of. She also said she packed it pretty good. Noticed another patron packing the same 2x machine I used, but he jammed it to the brim all around. Ugh. I assume nothing will be clean in that load - no water can flush through to either clean or rinse. In my opinion Holly spent as much money as she would have but double the time than if shed done the wash properly the first time, and split her loads, instead of jamming one washer. Im persnikity with finding a decent laundromat when I am in a new area. This place makes my clothes as clean and even more rinsed than I am used to hoping for.

I’ve been coming here for 2-3 years. Always clean, and a very friendly couple that ran the place. Over the last month or so. Their are 2 younger weird people that seem lazy, not doing general pick up ex. They have had 2 or more machines that aren’t working, the change maker not working, much more dirty. Pretty disappointing.

Jennifer is the most awesome lady ever! Me and my daughter loves coming to visit her, and of course do our laundry. Shes very helpful, and seems to love her job.The laundromat has everything you need, including WiFi to finish your loads in a timely fashion. They also have monster sized washing machines and dryers if you have bedding or a 5 person households wardrobe to get clean.They keep this place very cleans, and in functioning order. Its great!

Update Sep-2021: My wife and I are now regulars. This place has weathered the changing mandates with grace and a genuine concern for the community. Now all machines will accept either cash or card, and I have rarely seen one out of order. There are times when it is busy enough to be waiting for a dryer, but that will happen at a business doing well by its customers. Staff are always friendly and helpful, and it is always kept clean, even at peak times. If you are looking for a laundromat in the area, you wont find better.1st Review: Seriously first class owners doing a great business and more importantly being good members of the community. Everything always clean and in good working order, and you would be hard pressed to do a load of laundry faster or cheaper in the metro area.

Best laundromat on Portland so far. When I did a google maps search for laundromats, it didnt show up for some reason- I ended up finding it on yelp. Highly recommended. Fast clean machines that text you when the load is ready to dry. Books to read. Non-creepy people.

The attendant was friendly but I wont be coming back here. I washed on the $3.25 quick wash and my clothes came out full of soap yet not clean. This is because the washers dont use enough water. The attendant tried to give them an extra rinse but it was the same because little water. I had to put them in the larger washer in the hopes of getting them clean and properly rinsed, so I paid another $6.50 to wash them again. I washed them on hot, but the outside didnt feel hot during any of the cycles. I dont think the machines run enough water to ever get hot. When I pointed this out the attendant felt the outside and pretended that it felt hot. So I paid almost $10 to wash 2 loads, thats before the drying. Wont come back.

Clean machines, card option for the washers quarters only for the dryers. Climate controlled, clean bathroom available as well as outlets to charge your phone, ample folding table space and they never run out of laundry carts

What a wonderful place to wash your clothes!The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the place is cleaner than any laundromat Ive ever been to, the equipment is all in working order and top of the line, and theres even a clean restroom to use!!!Lets face it. Doing laundry sucks. At least this place makes it feel like fun.

This place is kept impeccably clean, all the staff is friendly and helpful. Huge high efficiency washers hold enormous loads and wash quickly (there are also medium and small sized HE washers too ). All washers have full range of wash cycles available and a huge number of dryers as well. Half the washers and some of the dryers have a card operated option. Coin machine in house (and an ATM next door, in case all the card machines are occupied).

Update october 2020: last two times Ive been here it has been filthy and attendent, people not weating masks. I am going to have to give up on it, sadly.used to be great, but since it changed hands they locked the bathroom, the attendants are not there a lot of the time, and their change machine and card vending are prone to malfunctions. I have been charged 5 bucks for a dollar dry and gotten 75 cents fir a dillar change. its still clean and quiet, but I am sad its not as nice as it wasno longer seems to be cleaning my clothes: its like they are using so little water the clothes come out dirty. Unless yoou pay 8 bucks or 12 for a wash, you might as well not bother. kind of stuck using this place for now but donr recommend it

Go here all the time never a issue with the machines they have. Place is very clean and the staff is on site so if you do have a issue they can resolve it quickly. I like the fact I can use their larger washing machines and do about 3 loads in one for $10.00 and it cost me about 2 bucks to dry my clothes . I would recommend this place to anyone.

I went out of my way to go here based on all the positive reviews and the fact that I could use my debit card to do the washes (not the drying—bring bills/quarters) which is amazing. The place was clean, there were plenty of washers available (I went on a Tuesday night) and the best part is that both my loads were washed and dried in a record 45 minutes total! Thats outrageous! I will certainly be returning.

Sadly going to have to stop going here. Recently raised prices means 10 dollars for a basic wash. Thats too much.

Never crowded and they have high capacity Washers & Dryers.I.e say hello to their little friend that can wash 40 lbs of clothes at once and their bigger capacity dryers that can dry 40 lbs, 45lbs., and even 77lb of damp clothes from washer to extremely dry.Get in dirty and out clean & quick.

Hands down the best laundry experience I have ever had! The owner(?) was incredibly kind and helpful, holding the door open for me, showing me how to get the best bang for my buck and encouraging me to seek him out if Im not satisfied with my experience or wash! The business was very clean, safe and machines were top quality, easy to use and could wash an incredible amount of loads at once for a reasonable price! The free wifi and well situated corner store and bar knocks this place out of the park! I couldnt be happier with my experience at Belmont Eco Laundry and will make it my one and only stop for my quarterly blanket, comforter and dog bed washing marathon!

Lots of washers & dryers ranging from big to really big to huge to gargantuan. (When they get some more of the dryers on their c.c. system it will be even better.) Plenty of carts and acres of clean folding table space. Free WiFi? Ive seen a lot of laundromats over the decades and this is the nicest, cleanest and most useful ever.

I live near here, and have standard size coinop washer and dryer in the basement of my ancient apt. building. I had not used a laundromat in over 40 years, but had a couple quilts to wash along with my usual stuff and didnt want to spend all day schlepping up and down my apartment stairs. This place is fantastic and I will never use my apartment machines again! It is bright, clean, and spacious, with machines of all sizes which are faster, better, and cheaper than the ones in the basement. The attendant was really friendly and helpful, guiding me as to what sizes of machines and different cycles I should use. I was in and out of there so quickly and easily, I couldnt believe it! Now that I have the system down, I am a customer forever....or at least until I leave town.

HIGHLY RECCOMENDED. Here from Chicago and this is the cleanest laundry mat I have ever been to. The owner is extremely attentive and nice. You can tell she takes pride in her laundry mat. They are opening a new one a few blocks over. This is your go to place if you need to do laundry. Even if you have to drive across the city. She even took her time to fill us in on must sees in Portland.

The washers are HUGE, and they take credit cards. I mean, that right there is a WONDERFUL CONVENIENCE.The laundromat is always really clean, and the owners! They are so friendly and professional. Its always so great to see them.So we had to go do our laundry last night, and we had a TON of it, and a load was left behind on accident IN A WASHER. What? Yeah. We did that.I called super early, expecting to get a voicemail at the business once we realized our mistake this morning. But Connie (the owner) answered and confirmed for me that I did indeed leave them. She offered to throw them in a dryer and I was so thankful. I went to pick them up this afternoon and not only did they dry them but they also folded them and stacked them neatly. I was so impressed with how awesome they are!I mean really, if you need to do lots of laundry REALLY fast, Belmont EcoLaundry is the place for you! Or even if you just have a regular amount of laundry. I cant recommend this place enough. I wish I could give them more stars.

This is the Taj Mahal of Laundromats. The place is green, light, airy, spacious and kept immaculately clean. The washers and dryers are new, well kept and clean. And the place in general is great. Benches, magazines and a great ambiance make this place a pleasure to do your laundry. ...Also, try the food cart two doors down.

I’ve used this place since it opened and I would like to continue using it forever because the owners are super sweet (unless they’re helpfully but unhelpfully micromanaging how long you dry your feather comforters), it’s nice and clean, open late-ish, etc. Alas, tonight was my third strike you’re out on for Belmont Eco Laundromat both the washer and dryer front.The machines just don’t clean your clothes. My low-income housing complex gives a more thorough clean. We first noticed this trend when helping a houseless fellow clean his textiles. We chalked it up to him having extra dirty stuff. We noticed this a second and third time when our senior dog was having “digestive issues” towards the end of her life, and then again after she passed. Again, we attributed the not clean laundry to the dog rather than the washer. The final straw was tonight: no extra dirty stuff, no houseless stuff, no dog stuff, just regular old laundry and low and behold, even on “heavy soil” and “warm wash” with the same Tide Fabreeze sport I always use, still not clean clothes. In fact, the mascara on my towel didn’t come off. It’s NOT waterproof mascara. It comes off on my cheeks all if I cry. It sure as heck should come out of a towel in a washer.As for the dryers, the one to the left of the huge commercial dryer has been broken for at least 8 months. Our dog got cancer in June of 2018. She died in January of 2019. Three times between there and again tonight dryer R likes to run cool air, even when it’s set to high, and it likes to spontaneously turn itself off every few minutes, so you literally have to sit on the floor next to it—which is in the way of other people, not to mention uncomfortable—and push start every 5-10 minutes when it shuts off. Alas, it’s one of the only dryers its size that takes a credit card, so if no cash, you’re on the floor.We only come here when we have massive laundry to do, you know, all the bedding, the couch covers, all the clothes, the cotton area rugs, etc., so when we come, we spend a good $45-$100 because these machines aren’t cheap. We expect the expensive machines to work. They don’t. It’s a real bummer.

I have been living in SE for over a year and I have to say they are one of the best laundromats around. Ive only met the owners once but when I did they were eager to help, give advice, and were super friendly. They also have washing machines that will text you when your laundry is almost done so you dont have to sit and wait if you dont want to. The machines are huge and fast, I can do all of my laundry, sheets, towels, blankets, etc, in about an hour and it actually comes out clean!! It is a bit expensive to wash (compared to my apartment complex) but drying is really cheap and its so fast its worth it. No more wasting half of my day or more fighting for scary apartment washer and dryer that doesnt work! Definitely check it out! Its awesome!!

Wow cant say enough about this place! Free WiFi, clean, friendly and washer dryers take credit cards!!!! Yeay. The people that visit are NORMAL no drug addicts or weirdos here. It smells good and it feels very safe. Also food and drinks and shopping are all walkable. I will be back for sure!
