We cannot say enough about this incredible organization. Its more than a supportive network, quickly everyone becomes family. Weve been in transition for a year and within the first couple of days of staying at the family shelter our lives started turning upwards and have not stopped propelling that way since we had 4 months to find a place and we found one in less than 2 months weve been there 3 months now and our new apartment and its just the most wonderful experience. In addition theyve also helped me and my daughter survive for the last year and we were honored to have our wedding there recently. We will forever be indebted to the friends we made and all of the assistance we received during a very difficult time.

This Shelter is very unfair and they are not upfront about the living situation. I told I was going to be in the main building before I came but then got placed into the apartments with a roommate. I told them multiple times that I was having problems with them and they did nothing. I was forced to live in an unfit living condition. Their is no safety on campus because their cameras dont work. People who are banned are allowed to come on campus and threaten people and no disciplinary actions are taken. People are breaking the rules time after time again and are not being removed. If you can go somewhere else please do.

This organization helped me and my family (w/2 kids & partner) in more ways than I can mention! They all do their jobs efficiently and have a well thought out system. They saved us from homelessness and provided support afterwards to help us adjust. Excellent support for folks who want to return to stable living, working, and even starting over (returning to school for example). Forever grateful!!!

Its a wonderful relaxing place..I hope the families who get to share this space realize the hard work and love that went into this facility to make this possible.

If youre a family in need this is the place to go, get in their waiting list ASAP. Most all of the staff are the most amazing compassionate caring people. They are there to help-- But youll need to help your self also.We stayed just over a month and in that time we got off the streets and into a house, got a great new job and are working twords a brighter future.

The best place to go when you and your family are in need. The staff are great and the whole program is a blessing for people in need that are trying to get a hand up not a hand out. Great for those of us that are really trying and arent afraid of hard work.

PHFS is one of the best places that helps families in need. The staff are very friendly, kind, caring, super nice, and very helpful. They dont judge you or your situation. Without them there helping I dont what my family and I would of done. Thank you PHFS for helping my family and I when we needed it the most.

Secret safe welcoming, if you are going thru hiusing changes, PHFS will carry some of the weight while you work on stabilizing your needs.

They told my ex wife that they would call her with in 6 weeks and nothing from them so they failed at giving any kind of update info as to where she is on the list very poor in my View

This is the worst shelter. Lied and treated very bad.All staff sticks together in how they mistreat you. This company this brand should go down 10ftHomeless people should be comforted and supported so they dont feel hopeless. Not kicked out with two small children and not even a month supply of diapers. This company is disgusting. KURT, Brandy,Samuel, Robert disgusting how you live with your self i wish I never met them Ive been traumatized even more then Ive already been through.Move here if you want to be lied to, judged, and not receive help.

I really appreciate the efforts and help my family received at this place. Compared to Human Solutions this place is heaven. Its a bit of a Hassel getting up everyday at 6am and be out by 6:30am. But I understand this has more to do with their landlord than Phfs. Most of the staff is very caring and helpful. Although there is a bit of favoritism with some staff. Most of the staff do their best to meet everyones needs.The most annoying thing is dealing with parents who have failed to teach their kids how to behave,making it hard for those kids who do act appropriate. Despite a few rules that seem silly to a parent who has always been a parent. This place is a good place to get a Hand up instead of a Hand out.Again thank you Steve,Kurt and Jenny for all you did to help me and my family. This place can help if your willing to meet then halfway.

This is a great shelter! Other shelters pale in comparison to this one.This facility is kept clean, and they have a good philosophy behind their organization.One of their volunteers, I dont know if she still volunteers there, but her name is Blythe, and she is a perfect angel! Truly a lovely person. Thank you Blythe, you made an impression on me, and I bet you do that to others as well! Bless you.Steve, Karl, Kurt, Quinn, Bethany, Mary, Jinine, Diana, you know how to speak with people in a way that helps them feel ok, not nervous and scared and looked down upon. You made it survivable, and were like bright cheery warm candles in a dark and very difficult time. You made each day much more bearable.Some of the other staff are probably in the wrong line of work. Sorry, but staff members should actually like people if theyrere going to have a job like this.They should only let people work here if they are tough, and can handle the difficulties of working at a shelter, but at the same time, have a heart for the poor, and a heart for people in general. I guess those types are hard to come by!Overall though, PHFS is a wonderful organization! They surpass by leaps and bounds!

Take care of the homeless with care and intentionality much different then other shelters. They get it right.
