The lady of this shop was very nice and caring. She found a wig that matched my own hair color.The only complaint I have is that I feel that the cost was high compared to another wig places and online cost. I was never given the tag that came with it and another wig specialist I went to said that it was a kids wig, and the box that I was given was not even related to the brand of the wig. I apologize but I won’t be going back.

Debbie was very helpful and patient. This was my first experience looking at wigs,and she made it easy and comfortable. Id recommend them to anyone looking for a wig or topper. I cannot stand the wig. Its too much hair for my head. It looks like a sheepdog has taken residence on my head. I went in the have it modified. Debbie, did take a little off the bangs and a bit in the front but seemed reluctant modify it further. It was still waaay too puffy. I had a friend attempt to thin it out but the bottom line is, its not a flattering style on me at all. I have a smaller than usual head and my natural hair is fine. My mistake is I should have waited for an appointment and looked at all the styles to make an informed choice AND understood that I could not refund or exchange it. . I do feel like I should have been given better direction on choosing a wig that would have been a better fit and texture, especially since I sent photos and measurements of myself. Unfortunately, Im going to have to wear the wig at work until my shaved head grows out a bit. Money wasted and a lesson learned.

Debbie, Fran and Nina really know their stuff! They have a good selection of natural hair and synthetic wigs from which to choose. First, the customer is measured and then the fitting follows. Fran is a talented stylist who can trim bangs to order. This is a particularly nice touch. My friend and I are very pleased with The Wig Gallery. This is hands down the BEST wig place in Portland for those searching for realistic day to day wearable wigs. They were sensitive to the fact that Im in a gender transition and needed realistic and comfort. They measure your head, show you multiple wig caps until you pick one that is comfortable and then pick your hair color and type of wig and then they cut it on your head to whatever style you want. I wanted a more edgy cut and they gave me whatever i asked. These two ladies give you privacy and great customer service. Ill definitely be a repeated customer. And GREAT prices too..i dont have anything bad to say.

Debbie is a great gal. If she doesnt have what youre looking for, she can probably order it. I love the topper that she got me. Over a week later, I called for help because I still couldnt get it to stay clipped in my fine, wispy, bio-hair. She booked me an hour long appointment with her in her studio and made sure that I knew absolutely everything that I needed to know. She wanted to make sure that i was comfortable with using the hair piece myself. All FREE of charge.

Visiting from out of town and Debbie made it a priority to get me in. Im new to the topper/hairpiece world (thinning hair) and wasnt sure what would work best for me. She knew right away and I bought the first piece as it was perfect. She explained why it worked and also showed me another piece which was pretty, but she explained why it wasnt the best (too big on my small head). Im thrilled with my purchase! My mom, a seasoned wig wearer, also tried on a few pieces and ended up ordering a wig that Debbie will send to her when it arrives. Wonderful, patient, knowledgeable and compassionate care. Found the perfect wig, the perfect color.Carrot top red like I was most of my life before I went on blood pressure, heart meds and prednisone. Down to 1/4 to 1/3 of what I had, at best.Debbie is wonderful. She even found me a bright royal blue long wig for fun. And it was on sale!I may be 72, but not dead yet!Looks great and I am making floral hair clips to clip it back and make an even bigger statement.Wanted something to open a conversation about the side effects of common medication.They can not only take your hair, but maybe even your life.Debbie is so intuitive, and knows the market and her stock so well, I cant imagine anyone being disappointed. And she completely understands the emotional devastation hair loss causes.Many thanks to Debbie and her staff. Kindness and great customer service still exist.When I am ready for another, I will be checking out their stock again, and she can always order the right color when I find the right style.Definitely multiple thumbs up here.

Purchased a wig and should of done research before, my fault. It was extremely over priced and when I went to wear it the next day, it looked awful. So have never worn it and unable to resell at a decent price. Waste of hard earned money.
