The Opti PDX staffing team and Megan in particular are absolutely fantastic! I applied not long ago and we havent found a fit quite yet, but I feel like Megan and the team there truly cares about your needs and wants when finding an assignment for you, unlike other agencies that are solely using you to place in spots that are high turnover to make a buck off of you. This place is great. My only issue is they need to find another company that handles drug screening. The agency hooked me up with a real good job and even though i passed the drug test the job wanted to wait for my lab...to make a long story short...the lab forgot to send off my results and the agency wanted me to take another drug test because of the UA center messed up. I couldnt do it because i went home and celebrated getting my first job in Portland since moving from California and i smoked some marijuana. Now im still jobless but i gave the agency 5 stars they just need to find a different drug screening provider

Okay so let me transparent, I use marijuana medically. This is the only substance I take to counteract the severe side effects of diabetes and gastro medications I take. I dont even drink beer or anything else. The advertisement I answered, and was told to call Sam, stated it was THC friendly. I came in filled out the paper work and all the online paper work, 35 minutes later I finally get meet Sam. Let me say the staff are clearly unprofessional, overly dressed and not approachable. Its like the Wolves of wall street were wolf movie from the 90s. Note They now have me as a employee and all my security information, which I am trying to pull my information, but they are not cooperating.And do not want to work for them, I also was made aware that they will try to put me down as a unfavorable termination, which I would have not even applied or wasted time a gas to get there in the first place. When I Sam asked me what I was looking for employment wise, I was stunned because I clearly made it understood I was applying for the labor worker that was THC friendly. He denied he even have any employment that is THC friendly and they do not employ anyone who uses marijuana or any Illegal drugs, um ya, have you seen the all the legal cannibus stores on almost ever corner. Now keep in mind I am NOT applying for upper management or anything like that, I am applying for a labor positions that are THC friendly. After the very brief meeting with Sam I was basically booted out, stared at like I was a criminal and laughed at, the staff was rude and not professional.DO NOT WORK FOR THEM.

I couldn’t have found a better place that fits my personality and my background, as well as this one does.Kendra did a fantastic job at representing me, and with myself being out of the job market search for so long, she was a great coach before, and during the interview process. She was always very uplifting and encouraging. I am still amazed on how well everything worked out, not only with the position, alone, but with timing! My name is Terry Curtis and I needed a job close to where my daughter goes to school because Im a single father of a ten year old girl. I searched for months with lots of interviews and no call backs. I found an Add online for Opti Staffing Group with Sasha Dadvars information attached. I thought to myself why not give it a shot. Sasha set up an interview with the hiring manager for great company and I approved, after the interview I had a very good feeling about how it went. The next day I received a phone call from Sasha and was excited only to hear he set up an interview with another company. I asked Sasha about the interview I had and he said they were going to pass on me. I was very disappointed. I asked Sasha if they had given a reason and he said no. I agreed to the interview with the other company and we ended the call. The next day after giving it some thought I decided to give Sasha a call and ask if he could follow up and ask why they passed on me. Sasha said this is not something they do but he would try for me. I explained to him how much I wanted this job and how I thought It would be a perfect fit, later that afternoon I got a call from Sasha that the manager would like to interview me again. Im currently in my 7th week working for a great company and my daughters school is 2.3 miles from where I work. Sasha Dadvar went above and beyond for me. I would recommend anyone who is currently looking for a job to give Sasha a call at Opti Staffing group.

The job that I landed, & quit school for, ended up only being mine for only a week! It was the job I always wanted. They told me that they wanted someone that was looking for a career, & willing to sacrifice things for them. Well I sacrificed everything for them, & they let me go after a week of busting my hump harder than I ever have before! They asked if I was willing to give up school, so that I could work there FULL TIME. I gave up my life for what I believed to be a dream job, & it ended up ruining my life. THIS IS NOT A JOKE. After time went by, I now believe that they knew the whole time that I was only going to work there for a week, & just lied to me. The Boss @ of the company(I wont mention the companies name) didnt even tell me that he was letting me go. He worked next to me that whole day, & didnt say a word about maybe improving ect... The lady Kirsten, from Opti had to call me after work that Friday to tell me the news. The excuse they gave me, was that I didnt operate the forklift well enough(which wasnt even a qualification for the job) after only 5 days! I drove to Tualatin from Portland & back every day. I spent over $200 in gas & $70 on work boots, totalling about half my ONLY check, so I worked a week for about $300. The professionalism was terrible, & Ive never felt so bad in my life. I gave up so much, for them to just treat me like garbage! I was so upset, that when she called me to tell me, I think I used profanity. Not directed at her, but in general. I was in shock, it was that surprising. And to make matters worse, Kristin told me she was going to do everything she could to get me another job, IVE NEVER HEARD FROM HER AGAIN!!! What do you guys think? I went from being so happy, thinking I landed my dream job, to being jobless, dropped out of school, & now in debt! Thanx guys! Atleast you got your cut/% from my hard work! And so what if you ruined an innocent guys life! THIS IS NOT AN EXAGGERATION EITHER YOU GUYS. I am a clean cut normal guy. Its not like I did something wrong on the job, or lied about anything, or did anything at all that deserves this treatment. I DONT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL.

They promised me a job two days after I interviewed with them. I called them back 3 times and left voicemails. Never got a call back explaining what happened. Very disappointed.
