TLDR: Just not wowed for the price.Earlier this month I took my vehicle to be detailed at Gallagher Auto Spa. My car wasnt filthy by any means, but I wanted to keep it clean so I picked here hoping for a high attention to detail. I first arrived on a Friday to get a quote and describe the work requested. And for an exterior was and an interior cleaning I was told $75 for about 45 minutes of work this coming Monday. It ended up being $95 for 90 minutes of work. Felt my quote was underquoted unfairly. They even missed vaccuuming my trunk, and had to ask them to do it. I feel that I could have had the same, if not better, quality service at a generic car wash then what I got at Gallagher. Will not be a returning customer.

Scott is incredibly friendly, funny, welcoming, and my car looks great with all the rain crud off it. I came in for just a hand wash, but he asked if I wanted a vacuum and a wheel clean too. That was really nice. I guess Ill have to come back to continue giving them my business *eyeroll*

Took in my truck that had been sitting for a year. It was a mossy, oxidized mess and they made it shine. Great service. Turned it around in a day. Definitely will go back.

Performed a difficult PPF application on carbon fiber mirrors. The mirror base was damaged during the install, and even though it could be argued it was due to past damage they researched the part, ordered it, and helped with the repair at no cost to me. I find that when someone does the right thing without a lot of arguing it uplifts my mood for at least one full day. So, thank you Gallaghers for your quality and integrity. Also, the mirror looks great.

The service was really good for the price. My car was pretty dirty, and they did a great job cleaning the carpet, speaker grilles and doors, center console, and seats. Overall Im satisfied with the service. The only thing is that they didnt include the seatbelts or sun visors, the vents under the windshield and facing the driver as well as the large section above the dash had dust and cat hair so I think they forgot that part, and theres still a good amount of dirt under the back seats in harder to reach spots. Theres also a dried black streak that looks like its from dirty water dripping down the passenger seat from cleaning and a stain on the carpet on the same side that maybe just wouldnt come up. My SUV was quite dirty and aside from those things its really night and day. They made a drastic difference and Im sure put in a lot of work, so for the price Im super happy.

I got my windows tinted and the ultimate exterior detail done and could not be happier with my car! Will definitely be back for another service!

Great detailing work every time! I work as a delivery driver most days and there are grease stains from the greasy food bags on my fabric seats and floor of my car. Every time I bring my car in to get detailed, I think that theres no possible way that those stains will come out. But every time I pick up my car from Gallagher, it looks BRAND NEW inside. Again, I am amazed and very thankful to have my car looking its best once more. Even though I brought it in just for detailing, the folks at Gallagher were so nice and threw in a car wash as well for no additional charge. Amazing! Thank you so much! It really made my day.

Shampoo carpets and rugs were our main request. Bought car last July from used car dealer. Looked nice. Lingering odd smell got worse with use of floor heat. So matey found these folks and now were stoked.Great job done quickly. Anthony was able to make us a reasonable price for the job. We recommend them. Tricky location. Watch for traffic if you approach by NE Sandy going eastbound.

This was a small job -- clean the engine compartment and buff out a scuff mark on one door. They took the car right then and said it would be about an hour, so I killed time in the neighborhood. They called me in less than an hour, all done. The engine was clean, the scuff mark completely gone as were two other smaller marks I hadnt thought to ask about. Good service, good job. I will use them again.

Great service and results. Scott and team took my neglected black Jetta and made her shine. Then later, he actually talked me out of getting a detail service before I sold her. I really appreciated that honesty. I’m back in with my new car and trust Scott to help me take better care of this one.

What stupendous service! I have a 2007 Ford Escape that I purchased when new and have taken pretty good care of it since then. I decided that it was time to get my car detailed and waxed, so I called Gallagher Auto Spa because a friend had recommended them to me. Scott Gallagher explained the different services available and helped me make a choice that fit what I needed. I took my car to them first thing in the morning and they gave me a ride to work about 10 minutes away! They worked on my car all day and picked me up from work when I was off at the end of the day. Once we got back to his shop, he explained all the work that had been done and made sure I was satisfied with the end result. I had a gift certificate for a detailing (inside and out). Scott - the owner - was prompt and courteous while setting up the appointment. I dropped my car off at 9am and got it back around 5:30, just as promised. It was beautiful - his team did such a great job on the detailing.During my cars spa day one of Scotts team members accidentally ran my car into the auto bay and significantly damaged the front bumper. Scott called me right away to let me know about the problem. He expressed his concern and promised to correct the problem to my satisfaction. I was optimistic it was just a paint scratch but it turned out to be more than that. Scott agreed to fix it and offered me a rental car while the repairs were being done. His integrity was appreciated - a very classy guy. Even with the little bumper incident I would take my car back to his auto spa for another detailing.

Had a full interior detail done at the Tualatin location and I am so happy with it! The interior of my car was covered in dog hair and sand and mud from our hiking/camping adventures over the last year and I got it back completely spotless. I havent seen it this clean since I bought it. Will be coming back here again when it needs to be done. Scott was very professional and friendly.

Scott and his team did a fantastic job with my Honda Pilot SUV. It had interior wear from years of transporting kids and a dog, and a few dents and dings on the exterior. His team was easy to schedule with, and in a single day transformed the car into like-new condition, inside and out. The car was spotless, the paint chips disappeared, and the exterior dents were gone. Highly recommend.

The best in the business! When you live in Portland, OR your car takes a beating. The constant rain makes it a futile practice to wash your car and I let my go until it is really in need of a full detail. A friend of mine recommended I call Scott at Gallagher Auto Spa. I am glad I did. One of the reasons I hesitate to make an appointment for detailing is the pain of delivering my car and picking it up. I was surprised when Scott went over all the choices/solutions for this excuse. He would pick me up and return the car, send someone to me to do the work or he would loan me a car to drive while he did the work. I opted for the loaner car since I planned to be out and about. Scott met me at the door, took my instructions, put me right in the loan car and told me what to expect. He kept me updated on the progress and called me a half an hour before the car was finished so that I could be on my way before the finishing touches were complete. When I picked up my car I was thrilled. Not only was it spotless and shiny but his crew had cleaned out every cubby hole and put all my things in plastic bags (great way to get me to go through those things that had accumulated in my cargo boxes.) The price – very reasonable! Thanks Scott. I will see you in a few months.

Little on expensive side for decent work but took a long time

These guys are absolute friggin miracle workers. They took my ‘91 caddy deville and transformed it into what looks like a whole new car. Bar none they are the best detailing company I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. And they charge half of what others in the area want for a similar service. Thanks a million!

Great Attention To Detail -- I’ve had my 2002 Volvo detailed once a year since I bought it new. Now ten years old, I took it to Gallagher Auto Spa for an extra thorough cleaning. They not only immaculately cleaned it bumper to bumper, they also protected all areas. No dust or crumbs in crevasses to be found and the entire interior and leather seats are restored to near new. On the outside, the dingy faded bumpers are back to black, the minor scratches are touched up, the engine is degreased and the exterior is washed, polished and waxed to an incredible shine. I am very satisfied with the results – my car is beautiful again! Definitely recommend.
