I worked with Matt to design a promotional plaque for a golf tournament and he was amazing to work with. Very patient, understanding with all my changes and suggestions to get it just perfect for what I wanted.I would work with this company again.
The only reason I am not giving Bench Craft Company a 5 star review is because there was a disconnect on communication and efficiency between the sales process and design implementation. I feel they could automate or implement a client portal to see where projects are in stages of being assigned, drafts and completion. That being said, the timing of outreach was wonderful and the design work is on target. Overall, I would highly recommend working with Bench Craft Company, just be aware, you may need to baby-sit the process from paying for your ad to being assigned a designer to create this masterpiece. Super excited to see the benches when I golf next month:)
I thought the help I received was great. Ideas were presented. People were prepared to listen. They did great technical work. I was pleased.
Great customer service and the staff is very friendly. They are super patient and offer fast responses when partnering with them. We are very satisfied with their service and would recommend to any business that seeks to partner with them. Thanks again for making this super fun and easy!
I paid $500 to Bench Craft Company for 1 year of Advertising at Nile Shrine Golf Course in Mountlake Terrace, Washington for a gold buying business I manage. After I paid $500 one of the salesmen called me over and over trying to get another $800 from me for 10X the advertisements I got for $500. I told him I felt scammed for paying $500 for advertisements at one hole, he was very rude and told me I was broke and couldnt afford any more advertisements. Very unprofessional.I paid for my advertisements in September of 2020, about 6 months ago. Since then I havent received one lead from Nile Shrine Golf Course or any other Golf Course, when in-fact I was promised by one of Bench Crafts owners Jessie lots of phone calls, new customers, and a bunch of website traffic. I began to wonder if my Bench Craft even posted my sign like they promised.I drove to Nile Shrine yesterday February 28, 2021 to check on my purchase. I was told by the Head PGA Professional Joe Korn who was working in the ProShop that the sign for my business was located on hole 13. I went there and my sign was not posted (I was also told on the phone by Joe Korn that my sign was up). My sign was not posted anywhere on that course. I honestly am still shocked and disgusted with the scam Bench Craft Company is running and still dont know for sure if Nile Shrine is in on it. I took pictures of hole 13 at Nile Shrine, there are advertisements posted, however they are not mine. I signed a contract with Bench Craft Company to pay $500 for 1 year of advertising of my business on hole 13 at Nile Shrine Golf Course.I have now lost 6 months of revenue that I expected to make from this advertisement. I spent half of my Advertising budget for 2020 with Bench Craft Company and after 6 months my ROI (Return on Investment) is negative -$1200.00 (Cost of advertisement, gas to drive to check on advertisement, 2 pair shoes that were ruined walking around Nile Shrine).I need a lawyer because they refuse to refund my money. Please do not do business with Bench Craft Company.
Pat was a great guy, I hope he is doing good. God bless you guys!
Wow this experience was seamless from beginning to end! We just got our scorecard and the quality is truly Top Notch! Every ad pops right off the page and an added bonus we love that we are Hole #7 (lucky 7)! We are honored to be a part of it! I must add Steven Bell is a wonderful salesman, he had patience with me and answered my 100s of questions and followed through on everything he said. Highly recommend and thank you for offering us this opportunity! Maureen - CertaPro Painters -Wilmington NC
Very impressed with Bench Craft Company! From the first phone call to set up ad space, to all the email communication in between, Bench Craft Companys team is a pleasure to work with. The entire team was enjoyable to work with; very kind and pleasant. Thank you David for assisting with layout!
Be VERY careful advertising here. I clearly asked if there was an additional charge when asked about an upcoming ad and was told that there would NOT be an additional charge. checked my bank a couple days later and had been charged $790. Bench craft refused to cancel the transaction and told me that i had agreed to it. in my opinion you would be better served writing your advertisement on 790 one dollar bills and just scattering them in the wind.
It was such a pleasure working with Bench Craft and especially Matt McInnes the design guru. He was so patient when I kept trying new designs on the proofs. Most of all Matt was helpful with design suggestions. Also, Andrew Parsons, the Project Manager, was great and offered me so many incentives to advertise with Bench Craft that I could not resist adding a second year of advertising! Way to go Andrew and Matt!!!
Matt and the guys were fantastic! They took their time, they needed a lot with me and they asked all the right questions, gathered the correct information and nailed it! Thank you guys, the right presentation is everything in my business and you did a spectacular job!
Matt at Benchcraft was very knowledgeable about our product and what we were looking for with them. One email and he had it looking perfect and professional. Highly recommend!
Bench Craft has been harassing my company for years - in spite of repeated requests for them to stop calling. We have never been a client of Bench Craft and I can promise you, wasting my time and my employees time, and interrupting our taking care of our customers with multiple weekly calls through the season is a fantastic way to guarantee we NEVER will be clients.
They were very helpful and easy to communicate with. Was a fast and effective process.
We have bene advertising with Benchmark for a couple years now. They are always quick to respond and have made our advertisments exactly how we imagined them.Thank you
This was a total SCAM. I was told that my advertisement would appear at a luxury golf course and country club with a guaranteed printing of 30,000 scorecards and easily as many as 50,0000. After repeatedly delaying my printing past the summer months I wanted to advertise in I road to the golf course and found that the course was on the brink of closure and nothing what was described to me on the phone. The owner verified they did not have a signed contract with Bench Craft Company, but they often offered them free cards. They were kind enough to locate my cards that had been sitting in a bathtub unopened. When I contacted all the other advertisers on the unused cards I was not surprised none of them had glowing reviews of the company and in fact some had even been scammed out of money they never agreed to spend.
We have just started working with them, but they have been the most responsive thus far, working rapidly with us to help us create an ad for a new program we are going to be a part of. In fact, even when we accidentally failed to meet a deadline, they never once made us feel embarrassed about that and assisted us promptly with our artwork. Thanks!
We were very satisfied with everyone we spoke to. We felt like it was a great opportunity to advertise with them and we were very pleased with the artwork. All of our concerns were met and they clearly spoke to us in a way that made us feel very comfortable. Thank you again for a great job!!!
These guys have been amazing from point A to B. They were super responsive and professional. Simple, clean artwork for our ad. Excited to see the results!
SCAM ARTISTS!Below is only one of many SCAMS they used on us:We had paid for the ads Bench Craft had sold us months ago and...Bench Craft calls and says, We need you to okay the ad art. Just reply looks good to the email. The Bench Craft email just says, Appreciate your time. Please reply ok to process. and attached is the image of the ad art to approve. We reply, OK to print.Meanwhile buried under 12 lines of whitespace. Way down below any visible screen space is a little note at the bottom of the email saying we will process $1190 on card, please reply ok to process. Then bam $1190 gets charged to the card without anything more said.I guess they taught me a lesson never to trust a marketing vendor again! And always look at the fine print.
Bench Craft has been great to work with on the art for my ad. They were very easy to work with. They also understood what I wanted. My ad turned out great.
I waited until the last minute to create my Ad to send to the artwork department. When I checked my email, Megan K. with BenchCraft Company already had on made for me. It took a lot of stress off of me trying to go create something that I really didn’t have time to do. She was very professional, and responsive to editing my Ad to fit my needs. Great customer service Megan K. Thank you again!
Do not give this company your time, attention or money. They prey on small businesses.
Quick and professional service. The graphic came out great! I am not very creative and they designed an ad that perfectly captured what I wanted. After I made some minor adjustments, they were quick to implement the changes. I had been busy and wasnt able to submit my artwork so they grabbed some graphics off my website which were perfect for the ad.
Make sure you read the fine print and NEVER text back yes or ok or make any positive agreement statements in email. They will charge your card over and over and its near impossible to get a human on the phone. DO NOT ADVERTISE with them. They charged our card with our permission in May 2020 for 12 months advertising at Rolling Hills golf course. Then, on Oct 14, 2020 they charged our card again for $790 for 12 more months at same golf course under a different contract number. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFO EVER!**Update** spk w/ Justin same day, he states they will credit back $790. They have been texting repetitive sales pitches to the president of our company (INSTEAD of emailing) Bob, did you like the design, then two days in a row, Bob, is everything ok? and when the president responded ok they took that as positive affirmation to charge his card again. Yes, we supposedly are getting our money back, but these are some slick talking high pressure sales people. Not sure how you work there if you have a conscience. (eyeroll)
We have been victims of fraudulent, unauthorized charges by this company. All email addresses of every contact weve had started bouncing back as soon as they continuously charged us for services and products beyond our knowledge and approval.
I will never do business with this company again. My experience was terrible. Representatives text requesting approvals for contract, payment and art. I was texted by a different sales representative stating he needed my approval to process my payment on the current 20-21 year. I did not realize the payment had already been processed, so I did approve it. After I realized the payment had been processed twice, I called and left messages with the sales rep (Tyler O.) and my call was never returned. I then had to deal with customer service (Brian Z.) and it took over a week to get my refund. I was told the second credit card processing was for the following year. After stating that I did not approve a second year of advertising, he went into his scripted sales speech to sell me more advertising and to make a deal. He stated there was no one that could process a refund. It took being extremely forceful and they finally processed a refund. After reading other reviews, I feel extremely lucky to have gotten the refund. They are running scams and getting away with it.
Why does your manager Mike Vizzicki continue to attempt fraud? 1st he calls lying that we wanted golf scorecards & payment is due. When told that was false he verbally attacked my wife! Then about 1 month later he tried to charge my debit card again without approval for an old advertisment paid in full a year earlier and he created a false invoice! He harassed me with repeated calls, txt and canceled my ads I already paid in full. Unethical, scammers, conmen, and liars! This guy is like a timeshare, once they get your information theyll never try to stop scamming you!
Jayson Smith, graphic designer was awesome! He was very patient with our multiple changes to our graphic art marketing campaign as well as fast with making those changes. Pricing was very reasonable for what we got too. I highly recommend!
Very easy to design ads the way we wanted professional to work with.
They were easy to work with, the art department followed up in a timely manner. Overall I have been very pleased and I look forward to working with them for years to come.
Very Professional in there work and collaboration with their clients. Great working with them.
Fast, courteous and efficient!
Benchcraft has over charged me twice now. The first time they were supposed to split my payment into two separate payments, they failed to do so, which put me in a very bad place with my finances as it was when the lock down first started. As a way to help solve the issue, they stated they would cover my marketing expenses with their company until the end of the 2021 golf season. One month and a half months later I find they charged me a second time!!!! Ive been fighting for over three weeks to get my money back (which they said they would refund, just like the did when they too my money out all at once instead of in two payments) Now my sales representative has failed to contact me in over two days even though Ive made several attempts to contact him. Additionally, Im supposed to receive the score cards as a sample as they said they would send. Finally, on one of the placards they printed off for our local golf course they spelled my website completely wrong!! lonsburygarage.com is what it is supposed to be.... not lonbnuttygarage.com!!!! how the heck does this happen?!? best of all it never got corrected!
It was a pleasure working with bench craft. We are a busy real estate team and they were patient and also understand our need to have everything perfect! When we wanted changes in our ad they made them. Not only did they make the changes but they did so quickly. They were prompt with quick responses as well. Someone was always available to talk. Thanks so much and I look forward to working with you!!
Fantasic company to work with! Matt McCinnes was very helpful and professional.
This company is awesome and they gave me a lot of great deals. And Jessica really made the art work professional. I’m really excited about being on 3 golf courses this year looking to get lots of business from it. Thanks again for the awesome job
Excellent work on the ad and great customer service. will working with them again for sure!
Read the contract...they only guarantee delivery to the golf course, they in no way guarantee that your adds will be shown, displayed, or not thrown in the trash by the golf course! After having my add active for about eight months (just and estimate since they never got back to me to tell me the add was live), They called me to extend the contract for another two years. The thought of having my add visible to all golfers sounded good for that price for two years so I agreed. I have a couple of customers who live in the residence of the course who have told me the never saw any add there at the course. When my employee went to play golf there with his friends and returned to tell me that he didnt see any adds either, I decided to go check for myself. I found that the golf course guides were nowhere to be seen so I asked the employee to see the golf course guide. His puzzled look said it all. He stated that he has never seen a course guide since he worked there (several months). Calling customer service simply got me a we cant verify that every golf course is going to do what they are supposed to do! So apparently they guaranty only that they will print the adds, not that they will be displayed, handed out and they are not ashamed of it, nor will they help you get them displayed. Im in for two golf courses for three years. This is possibly a huge waste of money.
I purchased space in course guides for a few public golf courses in our area, and I was dreading trying to figure out how to make an ad consistent with all of our other branding. Clint Kamstra was assigned to our project, so I sent him a few recent marketing pieces we had, and within a few hours he produced a great looking ad that looked just like our usual graphic designer had done it. I couldnt have asked for more from Clint, his intuitive understanding of his craft and our companys brand made this ad buy totally painless!
Bench Craft has one of the best Ads programs that Ive ever seen. Being in the Financial business for nearly 27 years Ive used many different companies, and various types of marketing and Bench Craft has nailed it. They have consolidated my Ads to a focused target and has managed to maximize my marketing dollars. I would say if you have not contacted them nor have given them a opportunity to market your business, then you are missing the opportunity of a lifetime.Giveem a try Youll be very satisfied!Regards,Allen ThomasThomas Advisory Services, Inc.
The Bench Craft Company contacted me about an ad in their Golf Score pamphlet for one of the local golf courses. The salesman (Jeremy) was cordial, did not pressure sell me and worked to give me the spot that I wanted.Once I had signed up, then the magic started. Their art department is awesome. I gave them a basic idea of what I wanted, and then the staff went to work. I worked most of the time with Venezia. She completely understood the look I was shooting for. No request was denied and after 3 small changes, I have an ad that I feel will stand out and increase my business. The whole process with the Bench Craft Company was a wonderfully positive experience.
I was contacted by this company early 2019 regarding the opportunity to purchase advertising at a particular golf course here in Nampa ID. I contracted for $390 to advertise at/ on a Tee Marker on one hole. The art work was done and approved for publication. $390 was the agreed cost. A few weeks later I was again contacted by the company and advised that an advertiser at a golf course in Meridian ID had backed out of an advertising agreement for a Tee Marker at a Meridian Golf Course and that they needed someone to fill that particular space. As an inducement I was offered to place our ad in the book that demonstrates the various holes on the course. I was advised that this add would be $390 because the needed someone to fill the space on super short notice, I advised that I was not really interested in additional advertising nor incurring advertising costs having never proven whether advertising at a golf course would even be beneficial. The additional cost was to be the additional $390 for a verified total of $790 TOTAL for BOTH courses advertising. I have texts stating such and no less than twice Bench Craft represented that my refund was being processed and it has not been done. This is entirely unacceptable. I had clarified in our conversations and by text that the total amount for BOTH courses and the advertising to be completed was $790 TOTAL I have been billed $1,580. (Mar 13, 2019 $395.00) (April 8, 2019 $395.00) (May 20, 2019 $790.00) I have texts acknowledging that the refund was being processed - Twice - and still havent gotten it
Our company purchased advertisement for a golf course through them and they were so quick to respond to questions I had, regarding art, deadlines, dates of printing, etc. They were quick to respond, very professional and we are already looking forward to doing business with them again next year.
Tim is very helpful and communication is quick and painless.
Easy to do business with. There was an opportunity to help them fill and additional spot and I was given appropriate consideration for the advertising. The graphics department, Emelia, did a great job working with me and only minimal changes were needed. She changed them timely and accurately!
What a great experience from the first call with Rochelle Bodner to dealing with the sales manager Jesse Revoal and the art department. Megan Kelly was incredible so helpful and understood exactly what I wanted even when I didnt know what the heck I was talking about. Cant beat the deal for the exposure. A total hole in one!!!
Scammers sold me two ads, neither ad was published. No refund. Search around, its pretty obvious these guys have a pattern. I wish Id have researched better when that salesperson contacted me. Im a small business, losing $3800 to these goofs has been devastating.
The customer service I received from Megan and the Bench Craft team was nothing less than stellar. She provided a professional proof of my banner with all the information submitted. After review of the first proof, I requested multiple revisions (my changes) and she updated the banner on the same day (actually within the hour). I highly recommend BCC. They created a professional grade advertisement with no hassle.
I have been treated very well by Bench Craft Company. I cannot speak to the efficacy of the advertisements yet, but the company has been responsive and easy to work with.
We were partnered up with Bench Craft for an Advertising campaign we were involved in. They were organized, quick, and professional. They made great suggestions and worked quickly to get return emails as well as getting us a proof we were happy with. We would definitely recommend the Bench Craft team based on our experience.
Graphic designer Michael Little is great to work with and completely understands what Customer Service is all about. Thank you for your great, and fast, work.
I was called by this company about 2 years ago and was offered to purchase some advertising for my company at a local golf course. Being wise to similar scams and working in the golf industry I knew to call the Head Pro of the golf course. He stated there was no agreement with Bench Craft Company to sell ads on their score cards. I was also warned by them about doing business with Bench Craft Company. This week I was sitting with a client in her office and she remarked about her advertising on the score cards at a local golf course. The alarms went off in my head and we placed a call to the golf course that she thought was displaying her ads on their score card. Both the staff in the Proshop and the General Manager stated they did not have an agreement or contract with Bench Craft Company and they were not displaying ANY ads for my client. She had paid well over $1000.00 for advertising. The BBB, yelp and the state of Oregon Consumer Complaints web site have HUNDREDS of complaints on file. Read about them yourself before you buy anything from them. We are definitely putting the word out to the larger golf industry. .
Everyone at Bench Craft has been super helpful and kind. I personally got into a bind with getting my advertisements in on time and they were so considerate of my personal situation. They (Stephanie) continued to help me out and helped me create a beautiful advertisement. Yes! I would use them year after year! Thank you for your high class customer service.
Megan Kennedy was great. I wasnt quite sure on a design that I wanted and she literally was able to create everything from the ground up with very little help from me. Very talented.
I have to say...Great Job!! I look forward to viewing this for myself on the links.
This company operates as Bench Craft and Game Day Media. They are literally committing interstate fraud. Why law enforcement hasnt shut down these people yet is beyond me. They take your credit card for $1,000 and never deliver the advertisements to the schools and sports events they allegedly are having you sponsor. The people on the other side know nothing of what these people are selling. SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN!.
TOTAL SCAM!! WOW!! We are in the same position! This is a total SCAM!!! Wish we seen the reviews before we bought, feel like a total dolt now.Purchased a 2 year package with them for $800. Was originally sold a premium spot on the scorecard (turned out to not to be the ACTUAL golf courses scorecard). Turned out our ad is on some random page inside of the book, the second year ad is not what originally sold as, never received the proof of the book sample. Oh yeah, and on top of it all the golf course is not distributing the course guide at all - ABSOLUTE WASTE OF MONEY!!Really wonder how this companys employees and owners sleep at night! Im assuming on the bed full of dirty money!!
Bench Craft was very easy to work with. Their graphic designer really delivered. Three revisions and it was done. And that was only because of me changing what I wanted.
This is a great company to work with. Daniel from the graphic design department did the graphic design for me. The first version from him was already stunning. Then, with my feedback, he adjusted many times to make it absolutely beautiful. They gave us incredible rate for 2 years advertising spots we secured with a very busy golf course in South Bay California.
This Company does not care about Customer Service. They do not reply to cancellations and leave contracts running even when cancels. They charged a private credit card from an employee twice now! Very shady business.
One of their reps called and talked to someone at my company and got them to agree to advertising on a scorecard for 1 year and he gave them our credit card info. We received an email with a contract to advertise in the course guide and not the scorecard that was agreed to. I replied back to the email letting them know that we misunderstood what the advertising was and that we were not interested in advertising with them. We never signed a contract but they charged our card anyhow saying there was a verbal agreement. The rep was incredibly rude on the phone and said that we would have to provide artwork or they would create their own for us. We are currently disputing the charges through the credit card company and the BBB since they refuse to refund the money despite not having a contract. I would never do business with this company. If they call you dont give them any information and hang up the phone so you dont get scammed too. Ive been contacted by customer service and provided the information they requested and have yet to hear anything back. Its a total scam. Do your research and stay away from this company. All of the 1 star reviews show a pattern of corrupt business practices.
Bench Craft did everything they said they would do. They used my graphics and my information that I provided to them to build a newly designed ad. I reviewed the new ad and approved it within about three weeks of when we started out. The ads were on the Scoring Cards at the golf courses (2) as promised. The ads may be smaller than I imagined they would be, but the score cards are smaller than I imagined, too. The Bench Craft Company associates were friendly and helpful and a pleasure to do business with.
Purchase and art process were both easy. We went to course and our guides were not in use. Called rep that sold us and our guides were there 2 weekends later. Will need to see if theres any return on this but so far, so good.
No real complaints from me. Buying was easy, the frustration came in the design process. They never reached out to me until I called them! Not how it was described to me beforehand. Once that was sorted out, it took about 3 months for our Bench to make it to the course. I have been out to see it and it is lovely.-LisaLisa Wright Realty
Great people to work with! They are very helpful and pleasant. The artwork team did everything I needed without even having to ask. Great customer service!
I had reservations, at first, with the authenticity of Bench Crafts up-front payment policy. As I found out, they were true to their word and followed through with their promises. Bench Craft is, indeed, a legitimate company and very proud of the unique services they provide. Not only did they produce a great ad for our company on a local golf courses score card, they gave us incredible placement, as well. I highly recommend Bench Craft to anyone interested in a different approach to advertising.
What a great opportunity this company has provided for me! Not only did they provide a great opportunity, but they were very professional at every step of the process. Would recommend!
Do not advertise with this company. Worst service ever. They printed an add I did not approve with the wrong address on it. The add said my shop is in East Oakland which is a very bad neighborhood. When in fact my store is located in the Oakland hills a much nicer part of town. When I called the sales guy back ( Mike) he was very rude and didnt care. I called customer service the next day and all they had to offer was giving me a month extra of advertising. When I said no to that and I wanted my money refunded he became very rude and even started to yell. So they sent out 3,000 adds with the wrong info and nothing was done to fix the issue except offering more add time. I dont want anything to do with company so why would that fix the problem. Horrible customer service
Beware of this company, they are slightly a scam, and I say slightly because they may run your ad but it will be on one of 4 unique scorecards that are at the golf course.... They are also known to charge customers for multiple years in a row without contacting them about renewal. Wish I could give this company 0 stars, they are not to be trusted...
I signed up to do golf scorecards at 3 different golf courses in my area in the spring of 2019. The sales reps were pushy, but what aggravated me was I repeatedly asked for a copy of the scorecards of my ads but never got them. I would not recommend this company for your advertising.
I had purchased a ad on a golf score card. The company that sold me the ad used Benchcraft. The artist I worked with, Allan, was wonderful. I sent him the details that I wanted on my ad and within an hour I had the first draft. It only took a couple of tweaks and Allan had a beautiful ad for me to place on the score card. It was a very positive experience.
Ryan Lasher was extremely helpful as we developed a Course Guide Ad for Rolling Hills Country Club. He used images from our website for the ad, assuring us that he would work with us until we found an image we liked, and he carried through with that promise. Our first communication was on Wednesday, February 10, and by Friday, February 12, we had four different proofs to consider. Ryan was very professional and listened to our suggestions about his work without a hint of ego. We’re very happy with the finished product and could have chosen at least three of the four proofs he provided without a problem.Thank you for your help with this project. It has required very little of our time to produce the desired effect. We look forward to seeing the final product.
Wonderful art work. They were amazing in working with me. I would recommend their services to anyone who needed their help.
Very easy to work with and end product came out great!
I would give ZERO stars if i could. they promise you a service, they take your money and do not return phone calls or emails. ad not placed at golf course. i have tried to contact the sales and art department but nothing. DO NOT PLACE ADS WITH THESE PEOPLE.
Very professional!!! The art department Matt Mcinnes was very helpful and courteous.
Great experience. Their design team was quick, accurate and pleasant to work with. We will definitely use them again!
I have been very happy with my experience with Benchcraft so far. I was contacted to advertise in a golf book at a local golf course and am to be the only person from my industry in it. I was given a graphic artist to work with and Jim Thomas put together and very pleasing ad for me and was great to work with, as I asked for changes. Thanks!UPDATE: Ended up a bad experience! Was not the only from my industry- lots of mixed information. Not happy with them!
SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! If I could give zero stars I would. They are thieves. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. They need to be shut down, 100% SCAM. They do not advertise for you, and they keep charging amounts never authorized. Thank the Lord my bank was able to stop them from charging me again and again because they would have kept taking unauthorized money until they empty an account.
Bait and switch! The rep called saying this was not a sales call, but just wanted permission to mail me copies of course guides, I said sure. He texted me and told me that I just needed to reply okay and he would get those out to me. The text was a contract for a bench for $1580. He NEVER mentioned this! I have been calling and texting for three days - but no reply!Do not trust this company!!
Benchcraft was very professional and super easy to work with. I sent them basic info and they turned it into a great ad that was exactly what I wanted. They responded quickly to my questions and were very helpful!
Buyer Beware! Be sure to check BBB Complaints, Yelp and Google Reviews before considering doing business with Bench Craft. What was offered by their sales rep and what was received were not the same. Customer Service tells you that you likely misunderstood. Complaints/Reviews substantiate this claim.
Everybody from Bench Craft Company has been great to work with, They answered all my questions promptly, Provided fast and effective design suggestions and revisions, and were friendly and professional to deal with all around.
Theres good reason this company will not allow reviews on their facebook page.I try not to complain about other businesses, but I will never use or recommend them to anyone EVER again.First I was contacted by text message for an ad. I called the golf course to see if this was legitimate. Was told by the course it was. When I said I couldnt afford the $800 I was told if I put the ad in another business name I would only be charged $400.On July 26th, I spoke on the phone with Don. I was told as soon as my contract was recieved, my card would be charged. My card was charge on this day.On July 29th I finally recieved an email from Don with the proposed the contract. (which I have no record of signing and returning.) After numerous requests.A couple days later I called back to speak with Don about the ad proof and Don was no longer with the company. I spoke to Daniel on August 6th. Between the 6th and 12th Dan helped me get my ad set up.On September 13th I called customer service and FINALLY got a hold of someone. I was told my sign had just shipped and I could visit the golf course in appx 2 weeks and view my sign.I called the course today (10/24) asking to come visit to see my sign. NO ONE from the course called. Paul from Benchcraft called me.I explained I was trying to view my sign. He told me it had just shipped and will need to be installed. When I said I had half a mind to file a claim with my credit card company, because Ive been dealing with this since July and my sign still isnt up, he became curt.I know in September I was told I could visit in 2 weeks because I explained it all to my husband and hes been asking every week if Ive gone. When I told Paul I was told 2 weeks back in September, he basically told me I was lying and said I was told it would ship in 2 weeks and be installed with 4 weeks after that. (I was NOT told this) but he went on and said Well these are detailed notes and all of all calls are recorded and this is verbatim what you were told. He then said as per our contract we have 120 days from the date of the signed contract to put up the sign. [This would have been fine, except 1. I have been told many different things at this point, by quite a few people. 2. I dont remember signing the actual contract and have no email that it had been sent.]I can tell you, I wasnt told it would ship in 2 weeks. They told me to head to the course in 2 weeks and check it out. Its been 6 weeks since I spoke with someone in September and my sign hasnt even shipped yet.
The customer service representative was so easy and pleasant to work with and made my job so simple! Would definitely recommend this company for all of your advertising needs!
Awesome company that took care of everything I needed! It was incredibly simple and their designs were incredible! Would highly recommend!
Great experience. Art was excellent and they listened to feedback and would come back with a new design. (Several times).
The Sales and Art Departments at Benchcraft have been so professional and easy to work with. They have done a wonderful job developing our ad to our specifications and their advice has been spot on.
Dodgy and disrespectful. Horrid customer service. The initial sales person was lovely, but the follow up was completely awful. Customer service was unbelievably rude. If you have done business with them, change your credit card number so they cant steal from you. Do it now. If you receive a text from them, do not reply.
They came up with a good basic design from sources found on our webpage and we only needed very few changes done. Very efficient and timely fashion. Cant wait to see actual product in hand.
Helped me out and worked with me during a challenging time.
DO NOT GIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER!! They gave me falls information told me they where printing 30,000 prints for every golfer to have. I talked to the course manager 5 minutes after I got off the phone to find it was untrue. The prints where for events and are only 5000 copies. I called back ten minutes later to cancel. I was told they would look into the confusion. I never heard back they charged my credit card the next day. Five telephone conversations later after being talked to like a dog I have to pursue other means to retrieve my money back. Its a bad sign when you have to have your own employees right good reviews (Ron Bowman) and the other good ones are from google users. This is my first review I have ever given and trust me when I say it is well deserved.
Lovely company to work with! Great staff, very helpful and professional. Great work on our ad, looking forward to seeing it in use!
The proofing staff have been most efficient and patient. David and Merivet have quickly turned around edits required by my omissions and changes and have been most courteous during the process.I did receive complaints early in the course guide sales cycle about over zealous selling of ads and insults made to those who did not buy an ad. I understand that was corrected with new sales people and I did not hear complaints after the personnel replacement.
So far, great customer service. Daniel was awesome and very professional in getting my ad ready.
Salesman was Very Aggressive and does not listen!Happy with the products.
I worked with a gentleman named Daniel. He did a great job on my artwork and it looked very professional.
Horrible company all the way through. First, they contacted us by using a colleagues name from local Chamber of Commerce, who afterwards we contacted and they said had not referred to us, and that they themselves had the reverse happen with using our name. Then the sales person on the phone asked for us to save our spot with a credit card, asked us to text back okay to process. We did. A contract was e-mailed to us a few minutes later, in which it said no refunds. However, that was sent after with NO mention of a contract on the phone. In fact they specifically said we could always cancel, that we were only holding the spot.We called to get a refund to look at other courses, because the one we talked to said they had no contract with them. Later finding out they did, but not at all like what was told us on the phone. They only used the company for special events, not all their clients, which was important to us, not only because it meant significantly less people would ever see it (maybe 300), but it was all out of town, and our location is a medical clinic, which isnt helped by advertising to people who wont see us.We thought it would be simple refund, but as soon as we mentioned that, they stopped calling us back, not putting notes on our file so every time we called they said their was no info of the last time, and started throwing the no refunds in our face, which we have proof came at the same time we sent the text, that minute. The only contact was for us to tell us what we wanted for an ad, which we replied to saying that we were disputing over and over. After over a month, we finally opened the dispute with our credit card company, and ONLY THEN did someone actually try to call back to resolve it. We tried to come to some conclusion, but in the end we still werent convinced, and said we had no intention of going through with the ad. Now, we got a call that the credit card has been disputed with the text as we knew they would, because that is what con-man companies do. We will be talking to everyone in our local city Chambers and Rotary club and making sure they all know not to do business with the company. And personally, if it comes to it with us, well just fight them with our lawyer. This company is the opposite of a respectable company.
Bench Craft contacting us about advertising at a local golf courses, they werent pushy, very easy to deal with and gave us a great deal. The art department was very patient with our many changes to our ad, many thanks to Clint and Jesse and anybody else I failed to mention, cant wait to see the outcome, thank you again!
