Update: after using Gerber for my husbands vehicle (see below), I decided to call Gerber to replace the windshield on my car. After waiting five minutes on hold to speak to someone about a quote and appointment, I left a message asking someone to call back. No one ever called back, even after several days. I tried once more to call in the afternoon...no one answered the phone. Ended up going to Glass Doctor in Valpo...they answer the phone right away. What gives, Gerber?Youll find you may pay more to have your windshield replaced by this company, but Im telling you, you get what you pay for. The installer, Greg, was very thorough and careful installing our new windshield, and explained why our old one was leaking, that had been installed shoddily by another company. Greg explained his work through this company had a lifetime guarantee. He said all the installers at his company have a lot of experience, and he himself had been doing windows since 1989. Greg also went above and beyond to accommodate my schedule. Plus, the service is mobile, which is even more convenient! Thank you, Gerber Collision and Glass!!!

I submitted a photo online for the online quote. I was quoted $600, Which was about $150 less than I had been quoted elsewhere so I decided to go with them. I figured it may end up being a little bit more since they can only see so much from a picture online. I made my appt 3 weeks out because that was the soonest they had. I brought my car in the morning, we went over everything and I left. They called me that evening and said that it would actually cost $1400, well over what I had been quoted at 3 other places. I understand that can happen, however I was annoyed that they didn’t let me know until way later. I work nights and was about to leave for work, so I couldn’t get it for a couple days. When I came to pick up the car the guy said that the online quotes can be inaccurate, so maybe if someone’s bringing their car in and they haven’t actually seen it in person they can make sure the estimate is right? They looked over my car for a few minutes when I got their so I figured if something was different they would have told me then.

They did a spectacular job and my car came out looking new. thank you

I would give 0 if available. Gave me an estimate to order and install brocken glass in mirror for the passenger side of my vehicle. They gave me an estimate of around $100. They were to order it and call me. After a week + I called them. They had done nothing and wanted me to come in so they could take a picture. I went and nobody knew anything. Told me they scheduled me to come in in May. Never!!!! Now the price is over $200+.No way. I can get one from a salvage yard and do it myself. It just pops out to replace.If you go there get the name of the person, set a time they are to call. Get everything in writing.I just wouldnt bother.
