Professor Pizol is an excellent instructor and knows how to teach the art to anyone. The dojo is a great environment that is both safe and clean. The students come from all walks of life and are always pushing each other to improve. I cant recommend this place enough.

Found Pizol BJJ by going to my friend’s first competition, i had only heard about BJJ, but had never really practiced it. After watching his fight and of his teammates i wanted to join immediately and they happened to be part of Pizol’s gym. The environment is great everyone is supportive and Pizol is a great teacher.

Professor Pizol is a consummate professional. He is courteous and kind(and pretty funny). He truly cares about his students and their progression. The classes are structured to challenge you but allow you to learn at your pace. I have been attending classes for almost 2 years now and it really has changed my life.Great school.Great Teacher.

Starting BJJ has been one of the best decisions Ive ever made. Its gotten me into much better shape and helped build my confidence. Pizol is a great instructor and hes very involved in every class. The gym is very close knit and personable. I would recommend this academy to everyone! If youre on the fence, just give it a try. I regret that I didnt start training sooner.

As a small business owner, and coach of fitness for 10+ years I couldnt recommend this place enough. I searched for months for a BJJ place that had a beginner program. Most other places in the area although very welcoming just threw you too the wolves with no focus on foundations. Professor Pizols program is second to none, and honestly the only place I know of where they actually go through the basics of BJJ. The focus on technique, fundamentals, and the art of BJJ here is the best in the county hands down. If youre a beginner looking to start Brazilian Jiu Jitsu this place is a gem.

Pizol BJJ is the best place you will find to practice Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Pizol has a huge experience coming from some of the best and largest teams of BJJ in the world (he is from Brazil and grew up practicing BJJ with some of the best current World Champions - like him). He has the right balance of attention and support for the ones starting practicing it, and also a very well formed program to continue to motivate and drive excitement for already BJJ practitioners to continue their love for this martial art. Pizol Bjj is an amazing gym. The coach is very professional and has lots of skills . This is a great enviroment to learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, every day is a good day when youre training.

Is the place where i dont want the time to pass. I want to be in there training all day. When im at work i only think about the academy. It helped me get in shape and made my life better. It made me become more mature. Its also a very good place for kids. I have my son doing BJJ there and he loves it.

My two young sons currently are enrolled in the kids program at Pizol BJJ. There is not enough kind words to say about the program. Professor Pizol has a way with kids, He is friendly, his class is fun and the kids love him. He finds a way to make learning entertaining and is always directly engaging the kids. He is very involved in the class which is why all the students look up to him. He leads the class but never shys away from working individually with each student during the class to make sure that their fundamentals are sound. Even though my kids are young, I have seen the difference in discipline and confidence, I have no qualms in saying Professors Pizols teaching style and interaction with my children have had a positive effect on their lives. I highly recommend enrolling your child in his classes for the benefits for their body and mind.

Since I joined Pizols Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy about 8 to 9 months ago I can say that today it has helped me on building my castle with bricks and no longer with sand. What I mean by this; I feel in the best shape of my life, the hard training has shape my body to a stronger, healthier mind and spirit. Im now more discipline not only about my training but also in everything I do outside the mats always thinking of a game plan to overcome obstacles, to be consistent. Inside the Academy we treat each other like brothers, we help each other out because thats the atmosphere the teacher has created. Respect you partners, be humble, all egos out, train hard. The are many benefits you can get from this amazing martial art and Pizols Bjj is definitively the way to go, all it took me was to try it for one day and I was hooked ever since.
