Not many words to say as it is a still a sad moment for us but I wanted to share my experience with you.my mother passed away recently and the staff at Baldwin was exceptionally good and compassionate even when the practicalities of the situation had to be spoken. They arranged for a person to translate into Spanish and they did a great job at making sure that my mother looked as she was in real life, beautiful, we were very pleased with the care and with the handling of our time there, no rush, no business like people but caring. This experience was new for me. I was blessed to have my daughter and grandson with me for support. It turned out with the knowledge, kindness and patience of Jennifer O Hara we were all very comfortable. I worked with Cathy and Gianna who were beyond helpful. They were extremely professional and honest through out the entire process and kept me updated. They did everything they could to make the situation less stressful for me and my family.

Horrible experience! We were going to use Baldwin brothers services, but they kept pestering is to get the paperwork completed. Problem was that the file they sent us couldnt be filled in, printed, nor could we copy and paste. So we decided to go to the office and get the papers in person. We were put in to a room and told they would be right with us. About ten minutes later we were told that we would have to leave so they could use the room for an appointment. All we wanted was the paperwork to take home and fill out. This service was beyond horrible. Obviously we changed our mind and went with someone else... What a way to treat someone that just lost a loved one!

My father passed away feb 2nd 2021, they misspelled our last name I did an ammendment right away sent to them to get misspelled documents sent to me. They called me telling me I didnt send the correct documents to show our last name. But the had my fathers Dd214 in their file along with a copy of my drivers license. I waited patiently for 6 weeks, received misspelled death certificate again.I sent in another ammendmentthe a 3rd time . It came back again misspelled. Come this July 17th I have paid a funeral home in IL to burry my dads ashes, and he also deserves hisFull honors funeral from the army except if I dont have it in time, they wont be there for my father. I have text messages showing all the times the district manager has even promised me he was taken it all over and going to handle this and I would have my certificate after the 4th of July holiday. That Tues. Still not received it.notarized and still to this day I am waiting for them to send me death certificate so I am able to give my father his military full honors funeral in his home state.

We worked with Kelly England to secure a preplan agreement. He was quite professional and in no way used pressure sales tactics. He focused on getting us what we needed at a cost that made sense. Hopefully, we wont need to see how well the plan works for us any time soon, but, based on our interaction so far, we are happy.

When we started thinking about pre-arranging our final plans I had some fliers on my desk that we received from various companies of which Baldwin Brothers was one of the companies we received on a flier.After reviewing these companies on line Baldwin Brothers stood out as one of the more caring companies in the industry.Also Dawn Fields name kept coming up as a wonderful and thorough sales representative for Baldwin Brothers in the Port Charlotte Florida area.So I called the Port Charlotte number gave them our information and with in minutes Dawn called us. We set up a in home meeting and Dawns presentation was so thorough and she made it so easy on us, both my wife and I decided on the spot to end our search and enter into a contract with Baldwin Brothers.There are options to choose from, we chose the travel option that protects us anywhere in the world. I first experienced Baldwin Brothers in November 2019 when my husband passed away. Dawn Fields helped with the arrangements and with the exception of a new employee not understanding the way things worked for dispatch, there wasnt one negative experience I had. Baldwin Brothers (Dawn Fields) brought everything to my house (ashes, certificates and flag) and presented them to me with love and humbleness.I recently lost my mother and my parents did their pre-planning through another company. I was shocked to see what my dad had to go through with that company. Not only did he have to go to their office to do even more paperwork, but he also had to go and pick up everything from the office.It was at that point that I decided to contact Dawn again and take care of my arrangements. I knew after watching my dad, that I didnt want my children to have to go through the same things that my dad did. This way, I know what was signed is everything that is necessary and they will not have to do anything else.Theres no other company that I would recommend to anyone. Yesterday was one of my most difficult days so far. I know there are more difficult days ahead. Dad has been struggling with pancreatic cancer about 2 1/2 years and hes really not doing well at this time. My parents have everything buttoned up as far as his affairs. I asked about funeral/cremation arrangements, theyve discussed it but didnt have anything concrete planned yet. This was going to fall on my shoulders, mom said she just couldnt bring herself it do it.Dawn Fields with Baldwin Brothers instantly lifted the weight of the world off my shoulders. She listened, comforted me, guided me, and assured me of so many things that I knew nothing about. She gave me answers for questions that I didnt have the strength to ask. She then gave me the time to consider additional options for a later date. So incredibly sweet, she even came to the house, she knew we werent capable of going anywhere at this time.I can breathe again. She lifted the elephant off my chest. I love you dearly Dawn and cant thank you enough for being so strong and holding my hand through this difficult time. Youre amazing and an angel in our darkest hours.

Megan Mathews answered all our questions in a professional manner and covered every detail of our pre-need wishes, at our pace, in a very relaxed atmosphere. There was never any pressure, and the agreement was very straight forward, and met our exact needs. She really made the experience rewarding for my wife and I. 5 Stars are not high enough to rate her!! She far exceeded our expectations !!
