Last Monday (4/5/2021) I went into this store in Poplar Bluff, MO to get a new SIM card for a phone I have. I was given the phone by my boyfriend, who told me it was unlocked for any carrier, what he didnt tell me is that he originally bought the phone from Verizon.However, when I went into the store asked for a new line to be added to my account and a new SIM card put into the phone the woman at the store looked at the phone for all of 1 minute and informed me that it wouldnt work on the Verizon network. Then proceeded to try to sell me a new phone.The thing is, I knew it would work on the network just fine, because I had put my SIM card for my line in the phone and it worked perfectly. So basically, the employee flat out lied to my face to try and sell me a new phone.I ended up going online to get the SIM card and sure enough, it works just fine. I do not appreciate being lied to just for the sake of someone making a sale. I will not return to this store for any reason, ever.Sincerely,A customer who values integrity

Shelby took great care to inform me of new cell phone options for my upgrade. She reviewed the options on my account to ensure I was subscribed to the correct plans and went over my plan costs. Upon purchasing a phone she was great to transfer all of my data, files, pictures, and contacts to my new phone. I would highly recommend the Poplar Bluff Verizon office.

For paying a Verizon bill with cash I was charged an extra $3 ! If I had paid with a credit card they said there would be no extra charge, what are that doing pushing for a cashless society ?

We had a wonderful experience today with Tammy during the upgrading of our phones. My husband and I both had several questions and she was able to answer everything adequately. She never rushed us and took her time with all our transactions. Very pleasant and professional attitude. Would highly recommend her to anyone that was looking for any help.

Shelby did a fantastic job. She made sure all of my contacts, photos and videos transfered to my new phone. She explained the small changes in my bill.Asked me if I had any questions about my phone and put on the screen protector and case. She told me if I had any questions to call or come back and she would help me out.

The staff in-store were helpful, but we waited on hold for tech support until their phone died, approx 40 minutes. I was in because my sim card had been updated the day before but wasnt working the next day. Again, the staff waited patiently to help me with my issue. The final step in assessing my sim card was putting it in a different phone to make sure MY PHONE wasnt the issue. I had to call my wife and have her come to the store so I could put my sim card in her phone. Not the staffs fault, just the way verizon is, I guess. Once my wife got there we were able to determine my brand new sim was defective and they changed it out with no hassle and no fee. My biggest complaint is having to get my wife to the store so my sim could be tested... VERIZON... YOU ARE A FRIGGEN PHONE COMPANY... SET A PHONE UP FOR THIS TYPE OF SITUATION. IT WILL SAVE VALUABLE CUSTOMER TIME AND MAKE YOUR COMPANY LOOK LIKE IT CARES!!!! Again, the staff was helpful in-store. Verizon(the entity) get your sh!t together.

From the time we switched to Verizon, which I believe was in 2015, we have had nothing but positive experiences at the Store. Yes, we have had to wait, but with a small store and only a couple of employees striving to provide great customer service, an occasional wait is to be expected. Every time I have gone in, I have been acknowledged within a timely manner and my issue is always resolved before I leave.

I worked with one lady who was also helping a another while 2 other ladies did absolutely nothing besides play on their phones. Its ashame the other 2 wanted nothing to do with helping or working. They obviously dont need to be paid for the day. If I go back, I will deal with Shelby

My son is deployed he got the correct paperwork in and they can clearly see he is deployed they are taxing all kinds of late fees and charges for a phone he had them deactivate before leaving because im not on account they cant and wont fix it and told me to tell him juat fix it wh3n he gets back thia messes with his credit score plus they must not back our military with them charging him for being deployed
