They have no idea whats going on with your account. Youre better off calling the St Louis office.They couldnt tell me why they charged me for full service tv but gave me a box that didnt have a guide on it OR THE CHANNELS I PAY FOR.They couldnt tell me why the installer didnt program my remote to actually turn the TV off and on. Have to use two remotes or figure out their stupid programming guide.They couldnt tell me why we asked for a bundle price, but they failed to actually apply the bundle pricing.OH YEA, they dont tell you that your internet is not unlimited. You have to pay an additional $40 for an unlimited plan.And finally, they do not have an app that you can stream from at all.The lady was super rude.Good luck!
Sparklight technician was friendly and knowledgeable. He found wire that needed replacing and crawled under the house and replaced the entire wire. Service has been great so far and no problems with connectivity or speed. Great service!!
I have moved twice over the last 3 years and both times upon canceling service and returning my modem to my local store they still billed me for the mode. The last time the lady was extremely rude when I asked her to ensure the modem would be marked as returned and she said I would not see it charged but it happened again. I will not be getting services from this company again in the future.
Our internet randomly goes out and I have to call to reconnect. I have asked for a new modem to replace ours that is four years old and they refuse. They are constantly being bought out with name and bill changes. I wish a new better company would move into town.
Poor customer service. Ordered my disconnect to be on my closing day, and pay my balance in full on the 17 th. They disconnected on the 8th and wouldnt turn it back on without full payment. Of one month behind. Use someone else if you have the option.
Internet is down all the time. I pay for the most expensive package so I can work from home and I have to constantly reset it. They have NO auto pay options so if you forget you bill, they cut your service off in the middle of the night. This is the second time this year they have cut me off and I was working both times. It affects my ability to provide for my family. I cant wait until this contract is over so I can get my internet elsewhere.
Im paying an insanely high bill so I can watch every cardinals game, but the channel its on keeps cutting in and out... a technician came over once and claimed he fixed it so itd never happen again. (He obviously failed.) This is infuriating.
The man was here right on time and he was very respectful.No issues.

Constantly losing internet access. And ALWAYS when I am in the middle of something VERY importan!!!! Also, when this happens I can never get ahold of tec.service. when the internet is down their phones seem to go down too!!

Truly, I do not understand how they are able to get away with being the only option for internet in Poplar Bluff. This company. Is the worst there ever was. They truly must be laughing all the way to the bank from screwing my family over. Constant horrible internet connection even though we have paid for their best internet package. Constant outages. Poor communication. No one does anything to extend and helping hand and actually get to the bottom of the issue. They do nothing to help us. Nothing to help the other families that live out here around me. All of us; We are lost out here with no hope. Thank you Newwave. Thank you for making life just a little bit harder during quarantine.

Terrible Service. Internet speeds are extremely inconsistent. We payed 100 megabytes and we only get around 25-50, yet we still have to PAY FULL PRICE. Half the time the internet is down. 5 star reviews on here are complete lies. Dont waste your time with these clowns.EDIT: Hanging up on customers too? Man you guys have the whole package. 0/10 a literal potato would give faster speeds.
Need to talk to the main office directly for the simplest thing? Good luck, youre driving up there because the only phone number you can call is an 888 number.Im editing my review to add two stars to my original 1, as their office customer service and technicians will help solve issues......even if you gotta go up there more than 5 times.
I have the gamer/streaming package and it buffers way to much
Newwave way overpriced. Have to pay 40.00 extra dollars to have unlimited data. The service is terrible to keep paying this overpriced company.

Literally the worst internet Ive ever had in my life. Constantly having to send technicians and it has never helped. Ping is through the roof. Super inconsistent. Would rather have windstream.
I started internet service with Newwave and set up auto pay. They did not complete the auto pay and my service was disconnected. I paid the bill online and set up auto pay once again. Once again my service was disconnected for non payment. This time I did not restart the service and did not receive a bill either. My account was sent to collection. I returned the modem and attempted to pay the balance due. The would not take my payment at the local office. I was told to pay through the automated system. I could not do that without talking to a service person at an additional charge of $10. I refused to pay the additional charge as this has been their error not mine. My bill still is not paid because they would not take my payment without additional charges. How do I get this resolved.
You have to pay for 100 mbps. However 90% of the time you only get 25 to 50 tops. They say there is no problem. But I consider being charged for a service and only recieveing 25 to 50 % of that service a big problem. But they are still the best of the worst around town. Stuck

Unreliable and overpriced services
Very bad experience. We moved to a new house after being a customer for years. They said we had to change plans and was not allowed to keep our old pla n. They wanted to charge us extra totalling over 800$ more a year and with data caps now. Needless to say we are changing providers.
They supplied good device while I had them. I cancelled my service several moths ago and they are still auto drafting my account. They owe me a lot of money now. I am furious.
Steep, steady increase in bill, even “unlimited plan” price continues to raise monthly. Service is shoddy at best. Tech/customer support are ignorant to how most of their services work, making them futile to rely on.
I dropped a payment off at the office the top of the month. Internet went down this morning and I called only to find d out that they dont take payment in the office that took my payment. I did not receive a delinquent notice nor an up to date bill. Went back to check my account and the check have not cleared. I called back and made a payment over the phone but still dont have an up to date bill. When signing on to the internet again I realize there are two IDs that log on with my password. Dont know if more than myself is able to log onto my account which could lead to hackers and identity theft

Paying for 100 getting around 35 to 40 M company is a scam and customer service doesn’t care. Just money hungry, surprised they haven’t been bought out .
Its fair enough, not the best and not the worst.When the service works, it works well. The speed is great and often times I have no problem. However, there are some issues.About 40% when there is a storm, heavy wind, or even a slight rain, the internet would end itself. I often experience internet outage sometime during midnight for around 5 minutes.Oh look! Its windy outside = R.I.P InternetIts starting to sprinkle = R.I.P Internet*Rains* = R.I.P InternetTurns midnight = R.I.P internetTornado = R.I.P internet and house.The point is, the internet drops... a lot.
When it is working it is okay. When it is not you have GREAT TROUBLE getting any support. Then if you need them to come to your house you will waste a hold day waiting for them to show up.

What a scam paying for 100 Mbps getting 25 they say there is no problem but for a fee it can be fixed will be switching to a professional provider instead of a Hole in the wall.

Lost me as a customer due to a reconnect fee. Had my card changed and didnt realize it impacted my service no calls or mail from them they just disconnected it. I called to attempt to rectify the situation however its there policy not to waive the fee. Ill go somewhere else.
