I usually do not do reviews, but Cristy is the owner of the store the last person was talking about. I have know her for over 15 years. She is the one of the best technicians, and humans I know to be around here, and I mean for hundreds of miles. If your Steam account was stolen, it is very easy to recover your account, takes some time, and a phone call. If you think a well known, experienced business is going to steal $20 dollars worth of games, or that she has time to even play games, then you clearly are running your brain on a lack of ram, and processing power. :)My experiance with how she runs her store is that she tends to do most repairs for under what other area shops charge for diagnostics alone. She is always fair, and if you ever had a issue that she caused, she would always go above and beyond to ensure you where taken care of, and then does a little extra to make up for the inconvenience to the customer.I assure you, she did not steal, or cause your account to be stolen. There is no motive, and you are slandering a small business that has served the area for many years, at a great value, and a great care for her customers.I hope you understand that you do not catch a technician with viniegar, you should try some Cheetos and Mountain Dew. Kindness goes a long way with any person.Joshua CarnesFormer Co-OwnerOne Stop Computer Shop

I took my laptop here to get it repaired and was told the motherboard and usb board had gone bad. After several weeks they finally repaired my laptop, I wasnt too concerned about the the time it took because I understand during the holidays things can take longer than normal when ordering parts and etc. However, when I eventually did pick up my laptop on the morning of December 29th at approximately 1030am while I was on my way back to LA. I paid the $232.34 for the cost of the repair and asked them if the laptop was working and if everything was fine, she said that it was now working. When I arrived in Amarillo, Texas, I attempted to turn the laptop on, it would power on and the indicator lights would come on but nothing would display on the screen. I immediately called and left a message for the shop and explained the situation to them by voicemail. On the following Tuesday, January 2nd, I called again and spoke to Christy and explained the situation to her. She was very understanding and cooperative and even offered to refund the cost of the repair if it was inoperable due to something the shop did or failed to do. I thanked her and told her that I would get back to her once I find out whats wrong with it. She did offer me the opportunity to bring it back so she could look at it again and find out why the display is not working, I explained to her that I am back in Los Angeles and I was only in Poplar Bluff for the holidays. She seemed to understand this. I took the laptop to Geek Squad at Best Buy in LA and they charge $99 for a diagnostic of the laptop and will repair anything that needs repairing that doesnt require parts. After the diagnostic service, a Geek Squad representative explained to me that a wire or wires needed to be reset or reseated. They did the minor repair and I didnt have to pay anymore than the $99.On January 3, 2017, I contacted the shop and tried to explain the situation to a man that identified himself as one of the original owners, after explaining to him about my previous conversation with Christy, he doubted that she would offer me any kind of refund and said he would have her contact me because she was out on a job at the medical center. But, he continued to go on about what and how I should have done things. I tried to explain to him that I dont live in Missouri so I cant just take the laptop back for them to repair, he suggested that I send it back by mail or courier, i explained to him I would have if I knew that was an option but that was never offered, plus I need my laptop for my online grad school courses plus he stated that they probably would not cover the cost of shipping. I tried to explain to this man that I took my laptop there, waited three weeks for a repair and paid $232 and expected it to work when I picked it up, however, it didnt. I shouldnt be further inconvenienced and be required to pay additional money because they failed to connect the display properly before assembling the unit and giving it back to the customer without double checking that the laptop worked. This gentleman needs to learn more about customer service, understanding and empathy. He should let Christy run the business as she seems to have a better understanding of how to treat customers. Customers dont want to argue with you, be lectured too or told what u think they should or shouldnt do, they just want the service they paid for and if you make a mistake apologize and fix it and dont be argumentative and condescending.
