I tried this business for a simple computer repair issue, because this business had been highly recommended to me. I told an employee that my laptop had sticky keys, and I was hoping for a simple cleaning job to remedy the issue. Without looking at my laptop or asking about what caused the sticking problem, he said that a full replacement of the keyboard would be necessary, and that it would be very expensive. Only then did he look at my laptop, and he repeated that the replacement would be necessary. I knew this was completely false. Only four keys were slightly sticky, and I knew why. But he had already made up his mind he was going to bilk me out of a large amount of money, so I refused his offer of an estimate and left. I immediately went to a competitor, which addressed my issue satisfactorily, and at no charge, to boot! I strongly advise anyone not to patronize Bits N Bytes Technologies; I can aver that it fleeces its customers.If you notice, I said that I REFUSED to do business here because of the employees obviously shady prognosis. The employee said the job would be expensive without even looking at the machine, so how could he know? Why on earth would I return for further work? The issue on my laptop has been dealt with satisfactorily--and yes, at no charge, because the competing shop recognized the true nature of the issue. Facts are facts. Next time, actually read the review, owner.

I bought my dream gaming PC from Digital Storm after much research and reviews. After seeing a review and benchmark by Linus Tech Tips, I decided to take the plunge and buy a new PC.Digital Storm customer service was pleasant and gave me updates throughout the build. They offered 2 upgrades as they were out of the components for that model.After the delivery, in (Big Lots parking lot, not at my home) the experience went down hill from there. My PC was going bad before my first payment was due.All the repairs were covered under warranty as long as I paid for it. I finally took the PC to Bits & Bytes to be evaluated (ethernet card, bad drivers for GC and dead cooling system). It took a long time because the guys at Digital Storm evidently dont understand time zones and communication was sketchy. The guys at Bits & Bytes did what they could without a complete rebuild. I took the computer back, continued talks with Digital Storm about the PC. Their solution was to send it back freight ($400+ packing materials).I took the PC back to Bits & Bytes. They tore the entire thing down. I even got a new case that didnt require a handtruck and 2 people to move. My PC works great.Im still fairly new to Poplar Bluff, so I didnt expect there to be a repair shop that could handle that type of machine. I hope these guys are in business for a long time. I will take every bit of work I can to them and I will recommend to everyone.My new PC is beautiful, manageable and runs like a charm. I dont even think Ive heard the cooling system kick in.5/21/21 No problem at all with PC. Works like a dream. Tablet works. Dual monitors work.Also, if you want a high end gaming PC, do not order from one of those big companies. Have these guys build it. I have complete confidence in them to build a gaming rig.

I found these guys and could not be happier. I switched from another local store that sold me a bad used computer. I would give them 10 stars if I could. You are missing out if you are not using them!!!!!!

I took my desktop computer in for a repair this week. It was repaired the same day with minimal charge. I took it home, and had a similar issue. He came to my house, took care of the issue and refused any more payment. I highly recommend Chris and his business!!!!!!! I will definitely do business with him in the future!!!

Only place I could find within a 2-3 hour drive that works on macbooks. I took it in, and it was repaired quickly, professionally, and at a much cheaper price than the mac store. If you need a repair or to purchase a pc or mac this is the place to go!!!

I am from the Dexter area and there are no repair shops left in this area. I drove over to PB and had my laptop repaired. I made one trip and had it repaired while I did some shopping. The repair was explained clearly, and the price was cheaper that I expected. I plan to purchase a second laptop from them at a later time.

Great computer shop. They came 2 hours one way to install me a fantastic camera system as my home. It is even color at night and I can view anywhere by my phone! Chris and his guys are awesome!!!!

Not clear in their policy. Extremely evasive when trying to get answers from by phone. Onsite employee useless for resolving issues and owner won’t follow up on communication from said employee. Owner will not release his phone number to me. I made numerous attempts to reach by phone without success until I posted critical review. I responded to the first phone call I recieved and met with owner where I was given a refund. A simple answer by phone from them would have avoided this entire ugly mess.This concludes any business Between them and me

They just dont seem as knowledgeable or as capable as they should. Dont be petty because I didnt give you 5 stars. It took 15 minutes for you to install a heatsink onto a motherboard, which I didnt ask you to do. You also tried to tell me you didnt have anything that would fit my motherboard over the phone because, you dont work on anything that old, and heatsinks are socket specific turns out you did have one and you installed on my MSI Z97 Gaming 5 motherboard. It just took you awhile. You left the old thermal paste on, which meh its only a couple of weeks old, I had put it on the CPU myself when it was on my old motherboard. As far as you not having records of me being a customer, I have receipts saying I was a customer. Sooo...

Will not fix a gizmo tablet because Its a different kind of tablet. Same charging port as other tablets, but cant do this one I guess. Luckily, found my sewing kit and used a safety pin to bend charging port prong back into place. For free. But according to bits n bytes, I was gonna need a replacement charging port which would require a call to the tablet manufacturer. Honestly, I dont think you guys are qualified. Period. Nor are you business savvy. Missed out on new business and earned yourself a bad review for your ignorance. Maybe you should stick to building and selling. But dont you dare advertise computer repair when clearly you dont. False advertising is gonna get you nowhere. Happy holidays.

I took my laptop with a broken touch screen in that office depot said could not be repaired. Bits N Bytes repaired it within a few days like new. I will have them do all of my future computer repairs.
