First time here, love the interaction between the stylist and the customer. A little rough and hit the comb on my head by accident. But other than that, wonderful experience. And easy walk in to make an appointment. :)

Every time I go into Poplar Bluff Smart Styles the staff is welcoming and friendly. Areas are clean and well organized with all the product needed for a smooth cut experience. The shop is clean and and the techs are curteous to help it stay that way. Always suggesting my co workers for cuts and color-never disappointed. Highly-highly recommended to all my family and friends.

I went to get a perm on shoulder length hair and they said that it didnt take and that my hair had to be cut I now have very short chopped hair

Elizabeth was very nice and knew exactly what to do. She was very good at making sure I liked the way my hair looked and made sure thats how I wanted it to look. I will for sure go back to get my hair done here. As soon as I walked in Elizabeth got started on my hair I didnt have to wait. Like I said I will go back to this Smart Style hair salon. Never will I ever let them touch my hair again, the stylist did not listen to what I wanted, told me she wanted to do a pixie cut on me and I said no so she cut the back of my hair, handed me a mirror and said we were done...she gave me a mullet!!! I cried and am still crying,she nor anyone else working there offered to try to fix it they just sort of ignored me while I waited for my niece to get finished with her hair. I wont go back and I would think they would have at least offered to fix it,worst experience ever!!!

Me and my friend went here on impulse. We both have done thin straight hair. We talked with the stylists at length about what we wanted etc.After reassuring us that both were easy cuts we decided to give it a try. Simple cuts. My friend expressly told her stylist she didnt want to lose much length and that she only wanted her bangs blended into the cut.I told my stylist exactly what I wanted and i,think she was deaf. They both must be. My cut is the worst cut I have ever had in my life. My hair looks like it was cut with a chainsaw.She spent a total of 5 min hacking and I do mean hacking. By the time another stylist fixes the damage I will have almost no,hair leftMy friend cried on the home. The stylist cut 7 inches of her long hair off. She was told no more than 2 in. And she cut her bangs at the ear line. Just straight across. This makes her bangs about 5 inches shorter than her hair. It almost looks like the last attempted a mullet gone wrong.Im telling ya, worst cuts ever. Tapped hair all over. Save your money and your hair. Go somewhere else!!!!

Just now getting around to posting my review. This place will NEVER touch my hair again. I told the girl i just wanted my dead ends cut with and long natural looking layers. This girl cut my hair into 2 layers one layer was 4 inches shorter than the other layer. It looked terrible!! I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

Went to go get my eyebrows waxed to clean them up a little. They couldnt have done a worse job, still had random hairs everywhere. Will never go back here again.

***WARNING - GO AT YOUR OWN RISK***if I could have given ZERO stars I would have!!!!WORST HAIRCUTS EVER!!3/6/2016, my Wife, Son & Daughter went in here at 10:am to get their haircut. I was in Alabama working at the time. My wife and Daughter wanted an 80s (Rocker) layer cut, and my 7yr old son was supposed to get a High-N-Tight (Military cut). ..well my wifes hair looks as thought it was cut with a butter-knife, all chunked up, my daughters wasnt much better, I could have done a better job myself!! and my son got the absolute worst high-n-tight I have ever seen! He couldve done a better job if I had given him the clippers and let him do it himself. We will never go back there and we will make sure everyone we know thinks twice before hey do.ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE HAIR-CUTTING SKILL! We were so disappointed. My wife had waited a year to let her hair grow out from a previously bad haircut, only to have an even worse one. She is so upset.

Just got my hair cut and left there looking like an old man. Definately not a flattering cut. Scissor happy stylist. Im so dissapointed. I might be older but i do care about my looks. I could just cry. I will never go back there again. And i will tell everyone i see where i got butchered.

Worst cut I ever had...showed picture of how I wore my hair and lady still dont listen uneven cut and refused to do what I asked her to do. I finally said to her...stop cutting you have put a bowl on my head!!!

Awful, rude service. I walked out today after waiting an hour. The lady was very rude and acted like it was a bother we was there. They dont take appointments so we was a walk in. She said it would be 15-20 minutes but after an hour I was done. I understand somethings take longer but her rudeness cant be overlooked. I will take my money to a business that can be friendly, something I have always found at JcPenny Salon.

Went in a wax and haircut on a walk in. Wait was under 30 min. I like my cut but didnt offer to shampoo or style. Just a cut. Did a great job on the waxing of my lip,chin and brows but they charge me 10.00 for all three. I understand the lip and brows but 10.00 for chin hairs?? I didnt have a lot, just a couple. Defintely not worth 10.00. Im torn because she did a good job on the brows but 30.00 is the highest i ever paid for waxing of all 3 sites.

Went in there got my hair cutt completely 2 different links on both sides went back for them to fix it and STILL messed up

The woman that did my hair completely FRIED it. I asked for a blonde ombre and she made my hair strawberry blonde with the ombre a straight line across. She also cut the dead ends off and couldnt cut a straight line to save her life. So not impressed and definitely not going back there. Wish I could rate 0 stars.

The worst haircut I had ever had. Got my hair cut there yesterday afternoon. And one of the staff was rude very.You go slamming down the phone with a customer still there.I had to go pay for another haircut .

Stylist are very rude. They were not kid friendly, will not recommend nor will we be back.

Just dont go. They messed up a kids hair while I was there and then I didnt even get a haircut. Waited over an hour then finally left. They hair talked and took their time doing what they wanted.
