While traveling from South Texas to St. Louis our battery light came on. Our car died as we pulled into Swafford’s with our family of 5 on a Sunday morning. They knew we really needed help and made time to take care of us despite being very busy. The mechanic diagnosed a bad alternator and got it fixed within two hours. The staff was courteous all around and suggested some places within walking distance to get breakfast on a day when nearly everything was closed.

Excellent!! Need a motorcycle inspected this is the place to go.

These guys are great, on a drive-thru and needing an oil change... They dropped everything to get me in and out of their shop... I havent seen a gas station with service in forever... They are busy... Expect that when you come... And honest, that was unexpected

DONT GO HERE! I played $22 to fix a tire that when I woke up this morning my boyfriend couldnt make it all the way to work because it went flat! I will be calling at 7 am to tell them about themselves!

They have good gas! The customer service is far from being good however. I called about getting some work done on my truck, the lady at the desk didnt seem friendly at all, and all the mechanic said was he couldnt do it, didnt explain why or anything. I would only suggest for fuel and maybe some simple mechanic jobs.

Everyone has a mechanic they prefer, and it seems to me that even people who dont use Swaffords will recommend you there, even if it isnt their preferred place, and the local police officers mention the owner as being very trustworthy, which is always a good sign.As far as I understand, Swaffords mostly do service, inspections and general mechanic work, but they will refer you to good specialists and they tend to work around your schedule with it not being unheard of for them to pick up your car and drop it back off, or taking you in on short notice

My elderly parents were traveling from Illinois to Texas when the air-conditioning went out on their car. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. They were very busy but they treated them as if they were only customers. The repairs were affordable and completed in a timely manner. It is rare to find such helpful people and their treatment of my parents is greatly appreciated!

Needed a tire swapped out as I had a load to pickup. My jack wasn’t enough to pick up truck and trailer. Checked in and was given an appointment time 45 min out. Waited for an hour to tell me that they couldn’t help me.

When our 13-year-old car broke down on the interstate on Memorial Weekend, hundreds of miles from home (Ontario), Swaffords took care of us.They were honest, clear, and light-hearted when dealing with us, especially since we were clueless first-time car owners during a very stressful time. They got us back on the road in no time and charged us barely a dime.Everything you could hope for in a team of mechanics.Thank you, Swaffords!

Today I went to have my tire repaired, when I left my car was shaking, I pulled into subway next door and my lug nuts hadnt been tightened and my tire almost fell off when I complained to tell owner of it he said well theyve been tightened now and there was no accident so no refund. I do not suggest this place to anyone.

Six hours into our return trip home, we discovered a tire leaking down on our F350 which had a 30’ stock trailer in tow with 9 show goats aboard. These guys worked us in and had us going in minutes. Other shops in the area said we would have to wait for a couple hours. Thanks!!

Worst place other than Allans muffler shop to have any work done on your vehicle. First they told me a price on the work that I requested, then they only did part of the work because ORileys give us the wrong parts. So less work was fine but they still charged me full price. Then I noticed my tie rod end was improperly installed and I wonder if is even safe. Im pretty sure they put a gash in the sidewall of my tire during their so called work, but Ill never be able to prove it and they will never admit to it or help me in any way. So after all this, I take my van back to their shop and ask them to show me what work that had done and see if my vehicle was even safe to drive. Guy on duty looks at my receipt and is like, well this was the morning crew so...,. Im wondering so what are you saying, that morning shift does shady work and evening shift doesnt? Not too reassuring. So I have him look at the van and he says its OK they look different aftermarket than they do new, knowing that he was feeding me bull, it wasnt installed properly. They also adjusted my alignment by jerry rigging their own version of what they believe to be a tie rod adjustment, only they cranked on one side real hard and not correctly, when they are supposed to go from each side evenly. Do not go to swaffords if you value your money, your vehicle, and the safety of you and your family. You have been warned

Frank and his staff are about as clueless as a screen door in a submarine. After having an appointment with the receptionist he slammed the garage door in my face and all I needed was a diagnostic test which would have taken 30 seconds. Very rude very unprofessional and very tacky. I will and would make sure that everyone knows not to ever use them and go to Simmons in Bluff. Night and Day!!
