If your looking to support a local business dont choose this one. They held a $500 security deposit on my card that was 1 supposed to be a pending hold and 2 to be released as long as the boat came back in the same condition it left. Not only did the charge go through but when me and my family called we weree given the run around for 3 weeks straight by the person answering the phone. She said the accounting department would get back to me and they never did. when i asked for the personal number of the owner or accounting department she just gave me an email address. I put quotations because I doubt there is a department this place doesnt even have an office. Some kid without even a uniform meets you on the dock with an ipad- theres not even signage for the business. This is the type of place that if I hadnt chased after them for my refund they would have kept my money which makes it theft. a long way to go until they are a real business seems a lot like a scam. my daughter said the boat was old too not the nice new looking picures on the site.

South Florida boat rentals is unwilling to accommodate Groupon customers. do not buy the Groupon. They had availability for the days I wanted to rent a boat until they heard I was a Groupon customer and then they said they were at their limit for Groupon customers for the month of March and it’s only March 11.

Very bad and rude service! Do not recommend at all.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY ! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I did not damage their boat whatsoever and they charged my account $3,000. Ended my rental early and could not show one shred of evidence that the boat was damaged. The boat was a piece of garbage to begin with. Theyd be lucky if they could sell the boat for $1,500 and yet the somehow charge me 3k? My attorneys have already began filing suit.

The response was fast. The appointment was able to be made the day of our calling.The facility was hard to locate so the staff met us on the pier. Nice person who helped us.The boat appeared to be heavily used. That’s okay because it’s a rental.Upon departing it became apparent the boat was very dilapidated. The steering was skewed. While traveling at idle speed, the boat would drift left. I would continually turn left to compensate. I never turned right. I turned left slowly for 30 minutes which was mentally draining. It was annoying.During breaks, between no wake zones, throttling up would lead to a high rpm with no forward momentum. The motor sounded like it was going to blow up with RPM. We turned around and went back to the dock.We didn’t insist on money back but sure hoped the company would be a good steward of service.It was a very depressing to have those plans upset.We won’t use this company again.

Do not book with south florida boat rental! they are unreliable and will show up late with no regard. The owner is rude, treats his employees terrible and has no care for customer service. Not only did they show up late, but changed the route to our planned day. Not once did i get an apology.please save yourself the trouble and money! you do not want to book with this company.

The actual rental boat is boarded at a local boat launch/park where they have the boat ready to go when you arrive. I was here in April, and there was plenty of parking. This might be different in peak season. The staff was very friendly. I rented a 23 hurricane deck boat. It was a 2005 with newer engine. The boat was well kept, all things considered. Very happy with the half day rental.

The online booking process was super simple and easy!Joe, the yacht owner gave a great heads up on the marina parking instructions and what to expect upon arrival to the Yacht Club. He even called the day before to reassure me on the weather forecast (it was cloudy and raining the day prior).The day out on the water was great! Henry the driver was excellent, he had a great knowledge of the area, and gave a great tour. We stopped at the Sandbar and to our surprise they blow up a water raft for you! Henry was an awesome captain, throwing us drinks so we didnt have to get in/out of the water. Ive chartered a boat with other companies in the past but this by far was the best experience and you cannot beat these prices!10/10 - I highly recommend!Okay - I’m back a year later!I’ve had two more successful boating trips this year during the pandemic. The staff was highly knowledgeable about the current restrictions per size of boat and was able to accommodate one large party outing (10ppl) and then a second day on the water for (6ppl).Everything went smoothly!
