This is by far the best mechanic I have Been to in south Florida! Affordable, friendly and fast service! They even help with keeping my autistic son under control while my car was being fixed! They all felt like genuine people! I actually enjoyed it!

I WOULDN’T REPAIR MY CAR ANYWHERE ELSE! The first time I went to John Herbeck’s Auto Repair, I was having a problem with my wife’s Saturn. It needed a part no longer manufactured. I looked up Angie’s List and found them. I normally find it difficult to hand over my car keys to any auto mechanic, I’ve seen other shops come up with so many inexistent problems, fake repairs, overinflated parts costs, etc. This is not the case with John Herbeck’s. It’s owner, Drew, is knowledgeable, friendly, and an honest man almost to a fault. I have asked for something I thought and was convinced that needed to be repaired and he straight out told me I didn’t need it, that all I needed was a 50 cent clip that had fallen off.To keep a long story short, after searching all over the place, online, aftermarket stores, junk yards, etc.… the part was unavailable and her perfectly, well kept Saturn that looks like new and had nothing else wrong but a plastic part that broke…was unusable. THEY MADE THE PART for us and didn’t bankrupt us in the process.Since then, I’ve been a customer for over 3 years, I have to travel 60 miles to get there and every time I’ve walked out happy. In the past I used to do the oil changes in Jiffy Lube which was closer to my house… What a rip-off. Every time I went it was something that converted a $30 oil change into a $450+ repair. I highly recommend you try John Herbeck’s. I wouldn’t even entertain the thought of taking my Grand Cherokee anywhere else. Not even for an oil change.

My husband brought his jeep cherokee to Herbeck`s for a transmission checkup.He scheduled an appointment that afternoon and the car was serviced with no waiting time.The technician was well qualified and promptly provided a report.The cost was very fair and all employees were friendly and helpful.The gruff exterior of the shop belies the excellent and honest service within.Hereafter we will have all auto repair done there.

I owned two junk yards and a used car lot for many years before moving to Florida so Im an expert when it comes to car repair. Anyone who is not an expert should get their car fixed here. Almost all the repair places in Florida over charge and do more work than necessary. Most people are forced to rely on the honesty of the repair shop and the repair shop naturally wants to make as much as possible everyday. It seems to me Drew is more interested in long term relationships than most shops and is very straight forward and honest like his logo says! My expert opinion, dont get ripped off give this shop a try, its really 5 stars.

Honest, reliableWe had a quote from our long time mechanic to fix an ac issue on our box truck for $ 3000. We decided to see who else was in the area and after much research and seeing the reviews we took a chance on John Herbecks. To our pleasant surprise the final bill was $ 850! Our ac blows cold, we didnt need a new compressor or other items that our long time mechanic insisted we needed.We are now a John Herbecks client for our fleet!

I just asked for a full synthetic oil change. Kayl also visually checked my brakes and tires, beyond all the fluids. And Glen provided a car wash, too. And they dont try to sell you what you dont need. Much appreciated.Definitely recommended.

My car wipers wont go off so I put on my phone mecanic shop near me and I was 2 minutes away the guys were all bussy but 1 of them help me to turn them off at no charge I was greatfull I found it .

So this guy is behind the desk, ( drew) and tells you what could be wrongwith your van, after 3 times and over $1000 spent. my van is no better off.by the way anothe rperson does the work. either way, i would never return.my suggestion is to go eleswear.

John Herbecks told me that I needed to have 4 ignition coils replaced for a cost of $692.00. I went to the dealer for another opinion and found out that none of the coils needed to be replaced! Only one spark plug was bad! On top of that, John Herbecks charged me over $100 just to tell me what they thought was wrong with my car! And he refused to give me a detailed written estimate, which is against the law. Needless to say, I will not be going back to John Herbecks!
