My wife and I thank Bob and his mechanics for their skill, honesty, and professionalism. We were given a list of repairs from our Toyota dealership. Based on many of our friends recommendations we decided to call Jims. After a thorough inspection of our car we were advised that our car did not need brakes or a new battery. Other services were performed at almost half the cost quoted from the dealership. Best part is that Jims Auto Repair does not compromise the quality of their auto parts. They have very talented technicians who care about their work.A good mechanic is hard to find a great one extremely difficult. So glad we found Jims.

Bob is an amazing and thorough mechanic who quoted me almost 50% less than every other shop for my brakes. When I called him I informed him that my brakes were gone to the point that I was driving metal to metal (stupid and dangerous, I know) and he squeezed me in last minute even though the shop was slammed. I got my car back the same day and I feel like Im driving a new car. This shop doesnt prey on people and they get the job done right the first time. Ill definitely be a loyal customer to them and refer anyone who will listen!

I was 150 miles from home, my truck broke down in the middle of I-95. I called Jims Auto Repair and they coordinated a very reasonable tow to their shop, then surprised me with a very reasonable repair estimate. I was getting good word of mouth about using this repair shop and I never did. A couple of weeks ago, I needed my brakes done. I had let it go and I couldnt wait. It was very convenient because I work right nearby. I called Bob and he took care of my brakes. Wow! I was impressed right away. The owner, Bob,answers the phone himself and gets involved, no matter how busy he is, and he has quite a good number of bays and is very busy. He knows his stuff. He was quick with an accurate quote to my car. I didnt even have to drop it off at 7:30am. I showed up after 9am. The work was excellent and so was the price. He changed out the rotors for a price comparable to just resurfacing the rotors. When I heard a story about someone driving from another county to find this shop, I was skeptical. Not anymore. It is worth the trip from wherever you are. HONEST, RELIABLE, QUALITY WORK FOR A FAIR PRICE. Thats Jims Automotive and thats Bob, the owner. Ill be back. Great guy! Great shop!

Management is really genuine, they are a little old school in that they write your phone number on a sheet of paper each time you visit. Other than that, prices are fair, I waited a bit for my car to be fixed but I came during an already busy week. I trust this place because they listen to your concerns and then actually let you know eveything thats going on with your vehicle. Theyll show you as well if youre there waiting in the lobby. The problem you came in to fix is what theyll fix, they wont go looking for additional issues to charge you for unless its related to the current issue or you ask them to.

My initial visit was out of necessity, and everything was done to fix my car up quickly and at the best possible price. When I later discovered on my way home that a bad part had been unknowingly installed, Bob immediately paid to have my car towed back from Palm Beach and a new part installed all at no extra expense to me. Great mechanic shop! My AC was going in and out, hot and cold air. After the dealership hosed me for $250 replacing the mixer motor that obviously didnt need replacing, and the problem was still there, I brought my car here. They diagnosed the problem as a bad relay, in about 10 minutes. Ordered the part and told me to stop by the next day. So I came in the next day, they replaced it in 15 minutes, and only charged me for the price of the part, to make me a long term customer. No doubt Ill only be coming here from now on. Thanks guys!

These guys deserve all five stars. They made time for me in on a really busy Friday afternoon. I explained that I was 1000 miles away from home (Northern VA), and on the drive down the bottom protective cover of my car fell off and that I was hearing some rattling. One of the guys took my car for a spin, and after some investigative work found that the rattling was the flashlight in my drivers side door (hah, whoops). They pulled my car into the garage, put the pan back on, and charged me a VERY minimal fee. Within an hour, I was on my way out! Thanks guys!

I love this place!!! Sunday my cv axle broke. Monday I have called family friend mechanics one person never answered and one person wanted $60 just to travel from miami to pompano. The cost for the part just one was $70. He did not even quote me for the labor and I was already at spending $130. I started googling places and found this shop 2 mins from my home! Called them up told them what I needed, the make and model of the vehicle (2001 ford) he quoted me $150 for parts and labor $20 more then the first guy! When I got there I thought it will be very unprofessional like all other places! NOT, this place is sooooo clean, so friendly. I decided to get a oil change for $30 more a total of $189 including the tax. they had my car from 930 to 430, mind you they were working on 4 other cars when I got there! 5 hours is awesome!! I will FOREVER go here and refer ppl. Thank you Jims auto you are a life saver
