Rebuilt my duraMax in 2019 but at the end the electrical was more than I can handle these guys were awesome and made the remaining repairs and putting it back together perfectly. Top shelp quality accompanied with actual experienced staff, at an amazing afforded price.

Hands down the best mechanic shop in Pocatello. Doesnt matter how big or too little the job may be - they have fixed my vehicles to my satisfaction. Definitely get more than what you pay for - these guys know what their doing.

We had a radiator leak just north of Pocatello around 6:30pm and had to exit in Pocatello. By the time we decided what we thought the problem was and did some google searching for auto repair it was close to 8:30pm. We found Black Diamond and called the two numbers someone had posted on here from their business card and got a hold of Lloyd. They were still open and got us right in! He worked on it til 10:15pm and we were able to get back in the road! Very reasonably priced, hardworking, and impressive! We definitely recommend these guys!

Passing through late at night and had engine light turn on. Rushed to this garage trying to get there before they closed. They dropped what they were doing to diagnose our problem. Helped us take care of the problem so we could continue. Very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend them.

Love this place, and the people that work here. I have taken 3 of my vehicles here (1 duramax) and there hasnt been 1 problem these guys havent been able to fix. I was able to get my car in fast they replaced my hood latch cable on my 2006 Hyundai Sonata which is a nightmare you have to take half the engine out to do it but it got done car is running great changed my front headlight bulb kept me posted threw out the day on the progress

Most knowledgeable mechanics I have meant in a long time. And the prices are smaller than any one in town

Black diamond is not a reputable company they will promise you everything and perform minimum I charge you an arm and a leg I had them change a motor onto trucks old trucks came out of their shop having several problems smash lines they used hose clamps and black electrical tape to try and cover the hoses being smashed and leaking they dont stand behind their warranties and the owner is very belligerent talent and Lloyd I got a text one day on a Sunday shame because I did not deliver the parts for my truck they were going to push my truck out in the parking lot and light it on fire will not recommend would not have them work on my truck or lawn mower after I picked up my trucks there were several parts missing I called and asked were they were including 4 injectors 2 heads 1 oil pan a lift pump an intercooler and a transfer case and light bar off my truck he told me they were at his house I asked when I could pick them up he made several excuses than has ignored my phone calls for over a month

I would hands down take all my stuff here, talon is a Duramax freak. He is cheaper than anyone and does a better job

Car took over five months to be repaired and now has multple engine issues that it did not have previously. Owner denies any responsibility. After 5 months and about $3000 of engine work, car is not reliable.

They are good, just expensive
