First of all, EWGs online quote requesting portal worked perfectly. I was able to provide specific information (mostly measurements and pictures) in exchange for 10% off my installation. That was $240 off!Next, Tiffany in the EWG office worked with me to find a time that worked for my family. We have a renter moving in at the end of the month, so we needed to use their expedited service option. If I had been quicker to call this spring that wouldnt have been needed! Tiffany was responsive and professional.Finally, Caleb and Josiah arrived a few minutes before the appointed time. They were professional, friendly, provided information I didnt think to ask for, and answered all of our questions. Additionally, I never heard them swear, and they were completely fine with my little daughter watching them from another window.We did take the step of covering our furniture etc. in the affected room with plastic sheeting, but it was not needed. Very little dust escaped the plastic bubble they put up around the work site with painters tape.I received EWGs invoice two days after the installation. The only error was that they forgot to charge me for the expedited service! Tiffany fixed that quickly.I would absolutely call EWG again if I needed another window put in. They did a fantastic job.

Egress replaced a crumbling block egress for us. The quality of their work was fantastic. Highly recommend them. We shopped around, and their engineering approach was the best, and the cost was affordable. Well done.

We had our Egress window put in about a month ago. The experience was great start to finish. They arrived on time, explained the process thoroughly and twice came back to have us make a couple judgment calls. After he was through, he walked us through everything and even wrote down the specs for finishing off the window (which we chose to do ourselves). The inspector the next day said these are always easy inspections, they do quality work.

We are very impressed by Egress Window Guy and the work we had done. All our consultation was done virtually without anyone coming to view the project until it was time to install the window. The crew (Kyle and Don) showed up on time and were done installing the egress window by 4PM including finishing work inside our home. Before work began, they walked me through the entire process so I knew what to expect. Once completed, the area in our basement was spotless and the area looks better than before. We love how much more light comes into our basement with the new window and how it looks both outside and inside. When we decide to replace the remaining windows in our basement (just regular basement windows), we will use Egress Window Guy for that work.

Requested a quote from EWG for a basement egress window earlier this summer. They came out a few months later and did the install. Really happy with the work, saved me time and headaches of doing it myself. The crew was super friendly and enjoyed chatting with them while they did the installation. You can see why it takes a few months for them to get out there as they are booked up. They do great work and clean up after the job. Would highly recommend.

We had an Egress Window installed in our basement as part of a remodel project. The estimated cost they present IS NOT accurate as they have multiple hidden fees they do not inform you of and it only becomes apparent after they send you a completion invoice.For a company that does these year round and all over the metro area, you would think that they know what fees to expect...they do not. They state they are unsure because every job is different which allows them to tack on extra fees.We ended up being charged $600 more then what was estimated. We were not notified of any additional fees in writing or via phone conversation and did not agree upon any of those fees throughout the duration of the contract/installation.There are other companies around that install egress windows, I suggest that you look to these companies and only use EWG as a last resort.---REPLY TO THE BUSINESS: None of these fees were communicated prior to the install or during the installation. They were only reduced once we notified EGW that we would not pay these add-on fees as it was never disclosed to us. Again, check your invoice before sending a final payment as EGW will try to add on additional charges without your consent.

We cannot say enough positive things about our experience with egress window guy.We asked for one double wide window and two smaller windows at the opposite ends of our basement, but to save a little money and get the size of well we wanted (to increase light to the basement) we wanted to install the wells ourselves. The crew at egress window guy helped us with all the tips and tricks to know how to do that work. When we found an old structure underground beside the 1940s house, they consulted with us if our plan was still workable. When one window has some issues after install, they addressed it quickly. I called them so many times, I’m sure they can recognize my voice at this point.Everyone was kind, helpful, and enthusiastic to make our egress window dreams a reality. Kudos to the whole team there!

We had Egress Window Guy install an egress window in our downstairs bedroom in 2014. Three years later, the window still looks great, works great and makes such a difference in the room. The job took one day and the guys cleaned everything up before they left. We couldnt be happier with the final result. We highly recommend EWG!!

Installed an Egress window for me in Fridley. Though they do seem to be consistently backlogged with jobs, the wait does seem to be worthit. I will update in the future if I have any durability issues with the window, but for now, its perfect.

Nick and his crew came out to our residence 10/2 with a big project of replacing a total of 6 basement hopper windows and outside wells, and WOW what a fantastic job they did! Over the course of the three days needed to complete project, which included installing every new window well with beautiful cedar wood, as well as one egress window, a large three transom window, as well as filling in one hopper with new concrete, they were always punctual, polite, nice, professional, hard working and again, very good at what they do...highly recommend!!!

Cannot say enough about our awesome experience with everyone at The Egress Window Guy. My husband and I had two egress windows installed in our duplex and they look AMAZING! The whole process from getting our initial quotes, to booking, to actually getting the windows installed was so easy and efficient. Very happy with my new egress window. The crew was professional and friendly. Absolutely zero mess inside the house from the project. The city inspector came out and approved the work and commented that he has seen previous work done by Egress Window Guy and that this would be the company that he would hire. Hired a painter to stain the new trim and he commented to me that he was impressed with the quality of the interior wood framing that was done, so I guess this is 3 reviews in one! Im impressed as well. Overall a great value and no regrets on choosing Egress Window Guy.

I was having a hard time finding someine experienced putting in an egress window on a permanent wood foundation. EWG knew what they were doing. Crew that came out was super nice, window looks beautiful, cost was competitive and came in as quoted.

The process to get an online estimate was very easy. I had an egress put into a location with no window about a month ago and they did a fantastic job. They moved the extra dirt to an area in my backyard, which is a huge help to me, I dont even own a wheelbarrow! They were very polite and kept me informed of progress and the inside and outside looked as if the window has been there all along after, except some expected paths in the snow. The inside finishing work was done in the mornings over 2 days and looks fantastic! Super impressed with them and would highly recommend. They do great work.

The crew just finished up putting in two egress windows for me and the inspector said they were great. First, the crew were very friendly, professional, and courteous. They worked all day in the rain and were very careful not to ruin the lawn and landscaping, and were also careful to not drag any mud through the house, they did a thorough job cleaning the basement too. Second, the windows look great - a very solid job! Third, the price for this was as much or less than other quotes. Money well spent. Would certainly recommend Egress Window Guy for anyone needing egress windows.

I had an egress window installed earlier this week. The EWG team was awesome from quote to execution. I used the online quote and it was frictionless. The only suggestion I would make is to offer a service to finish trim the interior window (gladly would pay for the service and realize it was not a part of the quote). I highly recommend Egress Window Guy to install your basement windows.

Great experience. The installers walked me through everything before and after the installation. They were very clean and quick. They even installed our smoke/carbon monoxide detectors for us and waited, even though they were done, for the inspector to arrive. Very quality job and encouraged us to call them if we had any follow-up questions.

Email for an estimate, got an email back they cant do an onsite in my area, but want me to do all the leg work for an estimate and then do the work. To lazy to show up face to face for an estimate Ill take my business elsewhere.

They replaced deteriorating wood window wells with Rockwell inserts. Egress Window Guy staff was engaged during the estimate and installation resulting in a professional result.

Every aspect of working with them was great. The site review they offered lots of information about what they did and why they did it the way they did it. The interactions with the office staff to get things scheduled and my questions answered was great. The project manager contacted me a few weeks out to review everything to make sure they had the right windows on order and everything was ready to go. And the installer was quick, courteous and easy to talk to for questions or concerns with what he was doing. Everyone was great and always willing to answer more questions and everything went very well. Absolutely would recommend to a friend or family member.
