Friendly. Competent. Took good care of my truck and my tools.
Wish I could leave zero stars. My truck brokedown called McCarthy as instructed by the dealership. Explained to both the dispatcher and the driver where the truck was and where the keys were. the dispatcher was very nice however the driver Al is the rudest most unprofessional individual I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Called me driving away and leaving my vehicle stating that I never told him where the keys were after I said Yes I did explain that to both you and the dispatcher he called cussed me out and called me a liar . Stay clear!!!!called Andys Towing in Marshfield they were very helpful had my truck at the dealership 2 hrs later. Avoid McCarthy!!!!
Great service from McCarthy. The dispatcher who answered was very friendly and connected us to a driver quickly, and was very patient as we kept getting dropped calls. Shawn (Sean?), the driver/operator, was fantastic. I managed to lock the keys in the trunk of a rental car, he arrived quickly, got into the car, and got us into the trunk (which is no small feat given the design of newer cars!). Saved our holiday. To top it off, he was extremely kind and had a great sense of humor, which helped in an otherwise stressful situation for us.A+++, this is what customer service is all about!
Worst company. My boyfriend & I were stuck in the middle of Plymouth state forest from the snow, we aren’t from the area and the GPS took us down an unplowed back road. Finally after calling the state police 5 times, Mccarthy towing called us.Says to us “ I’m not driving out there to get myself stuck, get someone to help you. “ I’m seriously begging him to come because we’re in the middle of nowhere, no houses, barely any service, pitch dark forest. he starts getting so rude on the phone telling us that it’s not his problem and it’s our mistake for not reading the signs that it’s not plowed( weren’t any signs) and that him coming out will cost over 300$ i’m speechless, worst company.if the company has any concerns, i’ll gladly give you his number and tell you about my experience.
I HAVE NEEDED THEM A FEW TIMES AND ALWAYS PROMPT AND COURTEOUS
Sharing for a friend -Anyone has to go or has to deal with McCarthys Towing in Plymouth good luck they are horrible people towed my vehicle day of accident takes 5hrs to figure out where my car is cause no one told me and never called me before they wracked up a storage charge for my car being there before I could get my children’s things and mine I lost everything in my car horrible people horrible service ... 😡😡🤬🤬
Owners awesome and has a great crew working for him
I own a tree service locally and one of my guys backed the dump truck into a little soft sandwhile dumping. A basic winch out of 6 feet. Took 30 minutes from start to finish. They charged me 300.00. I thought this was outrageous and called to find out why so much. I was towed from hyannis to sagamore beach by bucklers for 150 total time of 2 hrs. The lady (at MCarthys) over the phone was rude and condescending when I spoke with her, she told me that she didnt have to explain to me why the tow cost so much and, that the truck cost over 100k when, the truck driver told my guys that they payed 20k for that same truck in which they just bought. I will never use this company again.
Very quick to help out and get the problem fixed.
Bunch of thieves. Before getting a tow from here make sure nothing of value is in your vehicle because it will find a way of disappearing.
I live in northern mo with a student at pitt state. Called for a jump and was there in 10 min and diagnosed a bad alternator all for $25
Great service and professional
Easy to work with.
Avoid.
