I love Mad Dog Barefoot Fitness Boot Camp! I found it to be the perfect fit for me and I have been going 7 months now! I would definitely recommend this boot camp to anyone of any fitness level. You can challenge yourself less or more depending on what you want to put into it. The biggest change I have noticed since starting boot camp is feeling happier, healthier, and more lean all over. I have also lost inches all over from head to toe which is great. More than just a boot camp class I feel there is a cool connection between members and instructors, they genuinely care for each other and want to make sure they are doing everything they can to help you with your goals. This is so much better than going to the gym where you have so many variables that can disrupt your workout. I have tried a ton of different gyms, classes, personal training sessions, diet pills, weight watchers, counting calories, tracking food, and had varying results. With boot camp I find motivation to go because #1 I paid for it, #2 There is accountability tracking, #3 Its imperative to the success of my goals, #4 Its always different, never dull, and #5 I always leave feeling so great and glad that I went.~Tamara Collins
I joined Mad Dog Barefoot Fitness this summer through a Living Social deal. I am a member at another group fitness place and I wanted to check out a new venue. I love the trainers, they are very knowledgeable and they believe form is crucial. The classes are small, intimate and personal, the workouts are fun- but intense, and working out barefoot on a spring loaded floor is equally fun! Every class is different, with upbeat music and the time goes by so fast! I recommend Mad Dog- the owner/trainer Marty cares about his clients and helps them to attain results.
Mad Dog FIT Camp is the best health and wellness decision Ive ever made. Every session is a different 45 min high intensity interval training session, which really keeps things interesting! This is really more small group personal training than a traditional exercise class. There is excellent accountability at Mad Dog FIT Camp . At the beginning of the week you sign up for which sessions you plan on attending, and if youre not there for a session youve signed up for youll be hearing from Marti or one of the other instructors. That little extra push helps keep me motivated and plan my workouts as part of my weekly schedule. Ive been a member of Mad Dog FIT Camp for 7 months now and have lost right around 20 pounds and pushed my BMI down into the healthy range. This program has helped me gain confidence about my body and dramatically improved my fitness. The progress meetings that occur every 6 weeks really help to keep me on track and focused on my goals. Best training program in town! I have lost 27.25 inches since January and have more energy, sleep better, and love the way my body looks. I have tried running, cardio dancing, and other programs but nothing has toned my body like this. If you are looking for a power packed 45 minute workout that will give you amazing results then this is the place for you. The instructors help you personalize your success with progress meetings where you can set your own fitness goals (not just weight loss and inches). The classes accommodate all fitness levels and ages. Seriously...what are you waiting for?
My experience with Mad Dog FIT has been truely transforming. I started in 2013 with two simple goals; shedding a few pounds so i could wear a pair of jeans that no longer fit and put together two days of back to back skiing with my kids. Im in my mid-50s and I really wanted to get in better shape so I could stay active.Getting started was the hardest part; making the decision to finally stop making excuses and jump-in and do something for myself that would make a difference.After 9 months of work and with the guidance of Mad Dog FIT I have blown well past my goals. I have lost over 30 pounds and taken off several inches. The jeans are now two big and I was able to ski 3 straight days out West - even went top to bottom with out a stop! Never did I think that was going to happen this fast.Each and every time I work out the routine is never the same, its always challenging and never boring. Marti always has a twist to every workout that makes my workout sessions anything but routine. I am not done yet either, I have established new fitness goal and I am on the path with Marti and Mad Dog to get to the next level.
After attending just one class at Plymouth Mad Dog FIT I was hooked. I belonged to a Big Box gym for years, but had lost the motivation to go. I felt I was just going through the motions, not making any progress towards my goal to get back in shape after having 3 kids. In just the first 6 weeks of attending Mad Dog, I had lost 14 inches and several pounds. I could see muscle where there used to be none. That was so inspiring. I love the fact that I show up to class each day not knowing what to expect. Jumping rope, kick boxing, TRX straps, to name a few - the possibilities are endless. The 45 minute class flies by. Each workout is challenging to get through, but when I am done I feel so empowered by what I just accomplished. I love that feeling. Another benefit is accountability. Each week we sign up for the classes we plan to attend, and believe me, Marti and the other members expect to see you there. I am now to the point where I look forward to getting up every day for the 5:45 AM class. I could not imagine a better way to start my day. I am a runner that is injury prone. Mostly having IT band issues. I knew I had to incorporate strength work but couldnt find the motivation for getting to the gym just to lift. Weve been going to Boot Camp now for 2 months and not only feel stronger but my IT band injury seems to be healed! Marti incorporates a lot of great plyometric work that is perfect for runners.
I like the times of the work outs, the staff is AWESOME, and the studio is great!!
I joined Mad Dog Boot Camp in August because I had been struggling to improve my running times (I run marathons and half marathons). I had reached a plateau in my running and I knew I needed help in order to achieve my goals. Plus, I was starting to struggle with injuries from all the wear and tear of too many miles on the roads. In only TWO months of boot camp (only 2 times per week!), I was able to improve my half marathon time by over 8 minutes! For anyone who is a runner, well, this is huge! In each boot camp session of 45 minutes, the trainers were able to guide us through strength and cardio exercises that were challenging (but doable!) that targeted all muscle groups. My core/quads/glutes have never been stronger! If you are a runner who needs that extra boost, you NEED to try out Mad Dogs boot camp! You will see huge improvements on your form and race times with only a small time commitment.
No more excuses! That and a great group of people and real results are what Fit Body Bootcamp Minneapolis provided me. I started in March 2011 and have lost 10 poounds and over 11 inches off my body! I have tried to get toned and lose weight in the past but have always found reasons to avoid the gym. This program is different! The spring floor is wonderful because it is easy on all my joints and we get to workout barefoot. Our training instructor Marti is tough, but he is genuinely invested in each of us being successful and reaching our goals. He evens calls us every Sunday to psych us up for the week. I doubt the big box gyms are doing that! Plus we have monthly contests to motivate us even further and some of us hold additional contests amoungst ourselves. Marti even started a running club on Saturday mornings before Bootcamp for those who want to train for races. If you are looking to tone your body, lose weight, and workout with a great group of people, Fit Body Bootcamp Minneapolis is for you. I hope to see you there!
