The head nurse at this location on the Saturdays I’ve been there is extremely rude, unprofessional and wouldn’t recommend her as a nurse to anyone. She speaks in a condescending manner and is aggressive. The staff I’ve interacted on Thursdays are fantastic, friendly and always considerate. I’d give them 5/5 stars. It’s just only because of this 1 nurse I am giving it 2 stars.
The worst blood donation experience I’ve had to date. I donate on average once every 6 months. This was my first time donating in NJ. As soon as you walk in the place feels dirty. This was the first time I had to donate laying flat on a table. The needle went in smooth but it felt way deeper than normal, I was afraid she went through the entire vein. Usually it doesn’t hurt but this was painful. The tape that she used was really hard to take off and it ripped all the hair in the surrounding area, also painful. I will try another location for next time, will not be going here again.
Outstanding organization, all the volunteers and the workers are very willing to help work with you and theyre very nice. If you need to know about the fire alarms and things that you need to do to prepare if theres a disaster . They will give you all the information you would need, with no questions asked. And its a great place to volunteer if you like to be a volunteer. You can also go online with American Red Cross. And the sheet will guide you to whatever you want to do or whatever you want to know even about sound on alarm all that information is on the main sheet and you just click on what you want to know. And they are some great stories also posted.
Always a great experience here. Volunteer greeter Larry is awesome and the Red Cross staff are all consistently excellent, fun to talk to, kind and efficient. I donate every 45 days and this facility makes it almost completely (ouch!) painless [see what I did, there?]
Re-certified my CPR at this location. It was easy to get to and Ms. Vicky was a fabulous instructor!
I really love the doctors and assistants here they always make me laugh and I feel important here as I help save lives
Always a good thing to donate.
