We contacted Lee to install solid cherry hardwood floors in our rooms that had old carpet. We also wanted to build new some new steps into our family room that was lower than the rest of the house. The communication with him was always top notch and he never failed to respond in a timely manner. After he understood our plans, he came out to the house to take detailed measurements and examine difficult areas. He explained that our family room that is lower would need to have engineered wood since it has a concrete floor underneath unlike the rest of our home which has subfloor. He walked us through the whole process from ordering the wood, letting it acclimate in the home for a period of time, and the installation time frame. He brought us the baseboards ahead of time so we were able to paint them before the installation period.The two workers who came out were Sam and Esteban. They were both very professional and got straight to work every day with no delays. They were able to get the work done in the promised time frame with no issues. Lee came out multiple times during the installation days to inspect the progress of the work. It really showed how much he cares about the quality his company provides. I am very happy with the end results!

Lee and his team was excellent to work with and had great communication. The floors look amazing!! They are very knowledgeable and professional. There were multiple problem areas on the wood floors (stains, burn marks, missing&broken pieces etc...) and after the refinish, all were unnoticeable. Looks like a completely new floor! Definitely recommend.

We had a fairly large job - 5 rooms and a hall. The installers were very efficient both with moving heavy furniture and installing new carpet & vinyl . I thought the job would take 2-3 days but they got it done in 1 day. We are pleased with the result.

We had Lees team replace our living / dining room carpet, stairs, and hallways with hardwood flooring. There were many significant issues uncovered when the carpet was removed, but Lee and his team were definitely up to the challenge. They also replaced carpet in two bedrooms. The end product exceeded our expectations, and they still met their original timeline! They were extremely professional, but also friendly and and easy to work with from start to finish. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a flooring company that takes pride in their work product, and wants things done right.

Lee was helpful from the beginning. I told me what I was interested in and he brought more than enough samples to my house. He went over the pros and cons of each one I was interested in. I wanted a particular look and he was able to narrow it down for me.When I finally narrowed it down to two choices - one was a few thousand more than the other. Lee let me know the 2 products were very comparable. He recommended the less expensive product. Ive never had a salesman be so honest.We are absolutely thrilled with the finished product. We replaced all the laminate in our entire downstairs (even the kitchen and laundry room) along with the upstairs hallway with vinyl plank flooring. It looks so much better than the old laminate.Their crew was fantastic. They were careful with our stuff, cleaned up daily, and left no mess behind.I highly recommend using them for your flooring needs.

I had hardwood floors installed in my dining room and family room. The results were beautiful and the process was painless. The installers were courteous and timely. They moved and returned my furniture to their original locations. Very pleased with the service and end product.

I love it! 💖 Lee made solid recommendations so that I could make informed decisions re: replacing an entire top floor of gnarly, old carpeting in my 50-year-old home. The contract was a breeze; the new materials arrived right away; the crew even pulled out the old stuff ahead of time to accommodate my schedule; and I had plenty of time to prep the bare floors and new baseboards. Installation took only a day and a half! And now, the new carpet and pad are SO soft & beautiful and the baseboards are all so pretty & clean that it almost feels like a model home. The transformation is even better than I imagined it would be! Lee and Luree at FCI-EB provided friendly, thoughtful, fast, professional, affordable and personal service to me & my family. And Eric and crew were really good to work with--on time, energetic, courteous, attentive, tidy and meticulous. I am completely satisfied, and I cannot thank them enough.

So far weve been working on the selection of tiles for our kitchen, getting tile contractor lined up and working out prices, etc. Everyone has been very helpful and responsive. Ill provide an update when the job is complete.10-15-19Okay, our project of installing tiles in our entry and our kitchen/breakfast room is finally complete. I must state that working with Sean, the tile installer was a pleasure. He is an independent installer who does contract work for FCI. He was very helpful and the quality of install was excellent. I cant say the same about Floor Coverings International, though.We began having difficulty from the very beginning of the install as the owner did not fully understand what we wanted and kept on trying to impose cheap alternatives to our work. Some examples are that, although we repeatedly told him that we did not want a wooden or metallic transition pieces between the tile and our wooden floor, he kept trying to push these upon us. We took a step back and hired our own floor installer just for the transition part.Secondly, even though we told him on several occasions to order all of the tile at the same time so as to have the same dye lot, he did not. As a result, half ways through the project, we discovered that one lot was darker than the other. The tiles in the entire entry way had to be removed and were eventually junk. Getting them to bill me appropriately was an unnecessary ordeal.I can go on and on but I think I have made my point. In short, in the middle of our project, the original owner sold the business to another owner. Neither seemed to give our project much importance.I regret working with this company and would not recommend them to anyone. Good luck.
