I called before they were technically open and someone answered and was told to bring my expedition right on in and they would start. I only knew of one cylinder misfire with my check engine light on to find out their machine picked up 3. and In the 6 hours they had it they were able to fix 3 misfires from my cylinders and make adjustments no problem at all. Ended up being messed up injectors. On top of everything they gave me An AMAZING discount. Received calls throughout them working on my vehicle to give me updates. My expedition is no longer surging and shaking and my rpms are stable. Plus no check engine light. So grateful!

I had transmission issues on our 2012 Suburban. Edwin determined the torque converter had failed and the transmission had alot of metal shavings and needed a rebuild. A few months after we had it rebuilt, I had it stop shifting into 5th and 6th gear. I took it back and unfortunately the transmission had failed again. Edwin went above and beyond getting us a new transmission and covering it under warranty. I understand with anything mechanical things happen. When they do, you want a mechanic that will honor their warranty and make it right, and he did.

And that gives the impression that you charge what you want. On the other hand you tricked me since you told me that you do not use used parts and that you only install new parts, and in effect you charge them as new and from the VW dealer, but you install rebuilt, check the prices of the parts and the price you charged me It is from a new alternator purchased at the VW dealer but you installed a rebuilt one since you delivered mine in return attached you can see the cost of what you installed (Attached photo of autozone) and is almost half of what you charged. Therefore, and because I feel cheated, request the cancellation of the charge to my Credit Card as long as you do not give me a new alternator and mine in disuse. I am asking the VW dealer for the cost of a new alternator just as you promised and charged me ... The problem is not what your computer says you should charge is that you must first say what your computer says it is Just charge before starting the work, you had my phone to give me the quote and you did not do it, and you must comply with what you promise, you said you would install a new alternator and installed a rebuilt one since you gave mine in exchange and without my consent ... Just moved to town, and still trying to establish all of my go to places. Thankfully, Ive now found my auto repair shop!Friday night we had an issue with one of our vehicles- husband accidentally drove it in 4WD for way longer/at a higher speed than what it should have been driven after a long night of work. Called Edwin Saturday morning, and he advised I could drop it off. I was a little confused about his location, because the shop is in a neighborhood, but Edwin told me to look for the yellow flag by the basketball hoop and I was able to find it right away.Edwin dropped my 2 year old and I off at home, and said hed get back to us in a few hours. The truck needed a minor fix, which he was able to do right away, and because my husband was asleep and needed the truck for Saturday night, he dropped the truck off for us when he was done! Wow! I cant tell you how thankful I was for that, because its tough changing out car seats and finding rides with my 2 year old, and not disrupting his nap, etc. Super mom friendly!Edwin is very nice, and I enjoyed hearing about his family. I trust him to take care of any of our future vehicle needs. I dont know anything about repair pricing, but it seemed fair to me and my husband was pleased. Thank you Edwin!

I called Edwin to get a quote on replacing a window regulator in my pickup; not only did he give me an estimate over the phone, but said he could get to it that day. The other place I called wouldn’t even give me a rough estimate without them “looking” at it. I brought my truck to Edwin that day, and he had it done within a couple hours, for less than what he originally estimated. But more than the work and price, I really appreciated his honesty! I also was impressed that he had a young man in his shop that he and one of his other guys were training. It’s good to see young people being trained in the different trades. So, I’m happy to say I’ve found a mechanic in Pleasanton!

Went to see Edwin for an inspection of a used vehicle during a test drive. Edwin let me watch during the inspection and answered all of my questions. I left feeling confident in the mechanical condition of the vehicle and aware of a few issues. The service was professional and everyone I interacted with was friendly and happy to answer questions.

I didnt have air conditioning in my car for almost 2 years because I could not afford to. I took my car to the dealership where I bought the car. They told me it was the clutch in my compressor it gets stuck thats why and I would have to get a new compressor. Well I then took it to Edwin by chance and he told me NO ITS NOT YOUR COMPRESSOR it is because there is NO GROUND he fixed it for me with a couple of hours and saved me time and a lot of money and being cheated by the dealership. Now I have the AC on for me and my elderly mother who cant handle the heat anymore. Very honest and thoughtful I recommend him to anyone for honesty and pricing. He will even work with you.

So my friends and I were on our way to enjoy a nice weekend at South Padre, but we had the car towed to Edwin’s since it broke down... Edwin and the rest of the staff were very friendly and helpful. They really took care of us and the car and made us feel better! Service was great.

I wrecked my suburban recently and I am new to Pleasanton. I wasn’t sure which mechanic I could use that would be trustworthy and do me right. Then I found Edwin here on google and I read the reviews and decided to take it there. He was so kind and he told me what damage I had caused. Then he quoted us the full cost and individual costs to just get it going. Everything was fair prices! What was unbelievable was that he had our truck road ready the very next day!!! That means he got right on it and prob worked late on it to get us back in it quickly so we didn’t have to keep paying for a car rental. I also asked him about the other issues I know the truck had and he told me about those issues and quoted very fair prices on them as well! I ended up trading the suburban in for a new car because I was gonna buy one at tax time anyway, and was able to use the suburban as a trade in. If he hadn’t got it road ready for us we wouldn’t have been able to do that! I will be going back to him if I have any mechanic work that needs to be done!! And I highly recommend his service!

Edwin is THE GUY to go to in Pleasanton, Tx. My girlfriend and I broke down on I-37 on the way to the beach on a Friday night around 7pm. Edwin answered after hours- said he would take a look at it first the Saturday morning (most shops are not even open on the weekends). Edwin Auto Shop replace my clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearings, on my 2005 Jeep Liberty, he had to tried to use aftermarket parts, but due to professional his opinion they would not work. He ordered OEM from a dealer in Florida, had to do double the work, but stuck to his original quote. Recommend his shop to everyone that wants a fair and honest mechanic and shop to work on their vehicle.

Edwin repaired my 2003 Dodge Ram air conditioning condensor in a really fast and affordable manner, also replacing my shocks that hold up the hood.He is now replacing my brakes and rotors, fuel filter, plugs, ac condensor fan, and replacing the auto trans fluid. Plus he is looking at a service engine light that the dealer had not been able to fix since in I bought the truck in 2003. I have moved to Plano Tx, but trust Edwins to take care of all problems before I return to pick up my trusty old truck.

Edwin checked my brakes and front end. He greased the front end, said my brakes are fine, rode with me to listen for front end nose after the grease job, charged a half hour labor. His wife picked me up from my hair appt so I could get my truck. Very nice people. He has a building as his shop one block east of 2nd street.
