The best Red Cross!! I’ve come here twice now so far and I drive ALL the way from San Francisco because I love this location so much, especially the phlebotomist Vicky she is the best!! Everyone is nice there though and I’ve never had any problems so I don’t know why it has such a low rating. People always have to complain about something!! I did a regular blood donation and a Power Red donation. I can’t donate plasma because my blood type is O+ but that’s ok I don’t mind. They have good snacks too and a parking lot. I tried to post my pictures and videos but it’s not working!! 🤦🏻♀️ 🙄
My husband and I, made appointments twice to donate blood and both times in the morning of our appointment ( less than an hour to our scheduled time) they called and said they are understaffed and wanted us to cancel our appointments.Second time I complained about this to the caller and he was like, if you must come you can but the wait time would be between 1 to 2hrs....I told him, I dont have to come but I would like to since we would like to help others and also what is the point of making an appointment if we have to wait up to 2 hrs!!!!!If red cross need blood and they let you make an appointment they they should have enough people to handle doners. Otherwise, book the time slots so people wont be able to schedule.
Made appointment and when I got there, the wait time was over an hour to even be seen. Had to leave. Sad to waste my time and not get to donate.
Scheduling process was frustrating. Got their and they decided not to take blood because they were having a hard time. No explanation and rude. Will not go back.
Great staff. I have been coming here for 2+ yr and I really like how respectfully the staff treats incoming members.The place has good snack options and dedicated parking spots for visiting donors. I highly recommend this place for someone looking to make blood/platelets/plasma donation.
I have been a long time donor at this location and the people working there are amazing!!! A big shout out to the entire crew who are truly amazing people who work hard and always inspire me with the dedication they show to the donors like me! I enjoy always having a extremely positive experience!!!! 👍👍👍
My boyfriend and I recently went in together to donate blood. I had been before, but it was his first time. He has a phobia of needles, so we’re trying to work on that together. His nurse was named Lance Thompson and he was wonderful. He helped my boyfriend calm his nerves, he put cold compresses on him, and even chatted with him and got him to laugh to help improve his donation experience. Afterwards, Lance checked on him a few times to make sure he was feeling better. Kindest nurse, and I thought he deserved some recognition. Thank you Lance!! 😊😊
Booked appointment twice one was online and the other one with customer agent a monthahead of time for both appointment and both times they called me 20 minutes before the oppointment to cancel.plus the lady on the phone was super rude Never going there again
I really appreciate this place. Good staff and easy place to give. Had one experience that wasnt great but the rest of the times no problem. Really nice people, clean, and pretty quick, and good place to give.
The staff was rude, the advertised promotion was not honored, they were not grateful for the donation, they were said to be short staffed, the donation took longer than it should have.
5 stars for the staff. Everyone I’ve encountered has been extremely nice and caring. Facility could use some updating.
After donating here at least 25 times, I am not going back. Staff seems to me less concerned with quality. (And they lost their good coffee machine!) Find an alternative.
Really disappointed with how we donors are now treated by the volunteer staff. Used to be we were the center focus of their attention; now its them doing their home work. May seem petty but I feel if they are going to be volunteering, they should be paying attention to us, not their fellow students, text books and being on-line siting at the table next to we donors as we get our own refreshments while they sit. Three of them helping each other with homework while three of us helped ourselves. I tried getting through on phone to voice my concern but the 800 number is always busy and no direct e-mail address to send my concerns so,here it is. I donated Saturday 1/31 in am. if someone from Red Cross wants to call me.
Just stopped by to see if I could donate.receptionist was too busy with text message on phone to acknowledge me.I left and in no hurry to return.they should have direct number to call.but receptionist probably too busy to answer
Just talked to a woman on the phone. She was so rude and disrespectful. All I wanted to do was get some information and she just basically wanted to hang up on me. Wow! Terrible customer service.
Never a problem staff and volunteers are always helpful.
