Village green was excellent to work with. During the freeze this winter, we lost a decent amount of bushes in our front landscaping. Ken came out, had specific plants in mind to put back, and wrote up a proposal with pictures of the plants. They also built a border wall the entire length of the landscaped area. Andres and his team they subcontract to do the wall did an excellent job and made it look exactly as we expected. Their work was efficient and seems to be very high quality. Then, Hannah with Village Green continued with the exceeded expectations by fully listening to us on what we wanted, moved plants and borders around as desired, and managed everyone in an efficient manner to get the job done. The whole crew definitely went above and beyond. Throughout the entire process, the whole team was very easy to talk to and we were easily able to communicate our exact vision. They executed it perfectly. My only complaint was they couldnt start earlier! Understandable, though, as everyone in the metroplex was trying to landscape at the same time. Ultimately, great work and I was very pleased with the outcome.

Also use them for landscape work; great job, but you must be patient for them to get to your project as they only have one fabulous landscape crew, thus are booked for months out. Village Green has been fertilizing and maintaining our lawn for several years and it has never looked better! So, when it came time to do some landscaping we didnt hesitate to call Ken. We had 23 10 to 15 foot Red Tip Photinas die from disease. They needed to be cut down and the roots removed. If that wasnt a big enough job, the crew had to do this on a 4 foot terrace. Hannah and her crew did a fantastic job! They tilled, amended and treated the soil then installed new tress and bushes. Hannah engineered the irrigation system to water properly. Everything was cleaned up and no mess was left behind. Ken and Hannah presented their plant ideas and also considered some of ours. The end result is really beautiful! We had a problem with 60mph winds the week after planting. Hannah came out the next day and set everything right! We highly recommend Village Green. Hannah was more than great to work with.

I pre-pay for all the lawn services (grub treatment, fertilizer, weed control, etc) so that I dont have to worry about paying periodic bills throughout the season. I know its taken care of. I also hired them to completely redo the landscaping in my backyard. They were attentive to my design ideas and completed the job quickly and beautifully. My backyard, around my pool, is now a place that I enjoy sitting as the plants/shrubs are thoughtfully placed.

I recently used Village Green to landscape my front yard. What makes this company outshine all the others is their communication skills. They didn’t try to sell me on their services. Instead, they listened. Listened to what I wanted and what I liked. Then they put a plan in place to accomplish it. In particular I wasn’t consistent using fertilizer and weed control products. Also, the products available to me at the local stores didn’t seem quite as effective compared to my neighbors who were using a commercial. service.So, I researched the various lawn care “feed-n-weed” services available and decided on trying Village Green. After only 3-4 months of ‘feed-n-weed” service my lawn showed a notable improvement. My lawn was greener and thicker and the number of weeds were greatly reduced. Even the neighbors noticed the change and asked how I did it.I continued the service through the fall and winter months which includes pre-emergent weed control.In the spring the grass came in strong and green, filling-in most sparse areas (those with sufficient sunlight anyway). When I first contacted Village Green I was hesitant to pay money to have a service with no guarantees. Ken and Sam both assured me that if I was patient, my yard would come around. Knowing they had all the materials and know how to take care of my yard, I went forward with treatment. Orlando is our tech and hes great! He knows exactly what hes doing. He calculates where to kill the weeds and grass (sometimes killing the grass is unavoidable) and as long as we water regularly, the grass fills back in. Our yard is now filled with lush, deep green Bermuda grass. This is a far cry from what our yard used to be. Filled with dallisgrass, mostly bare spots, and so many weeds. Orlando identified where the actual grass was and over the past year our yard has taken a huge turn for the best. After this fall, with a bit of seeding, our yard will be nearly complete and weed free. Not to mention completely filled with actual grass! I cant thank you all enough for what youve done for us. Well be long term customers without a doubt!

Called Village Green this morning because of the large leak in the main line of our sprinkler system. Johnny Gonzalez came out and assessed the issue and said he could fix it right away, and was that OK? The actual repair appointment was not until the next day. Johnny came out to Shute the water to the sprinkler system off, but was able to fix it right away in under two hours. He was fair, efficient and did a great job repairing the system. I can’t say enough about Village Green.

We hired Ken and his team to redo our entire 1/2 acre backyard. It was a huge project, and they did an unbelievable job. The communication throughout the entire process was fantastic. They took their time and did ALL the required prep work. Most companies will just come dig a hole, plant something and then cover it up with mulch. They actually created the beds, tilled it at least twice and included compost, and then dug the holes and planted. Prep work is everything when it comes to landscaping. Ive made the mistake of hiring the cheaper option before, and it shows. You for sure get what you pay for in landscaping.In addition to the plants, their team did extensive work to my existing irrigation system. That turned out really well too. In addition to the plants, my existing grass looks 10x better now too.The follow up so far has been phenomenal as well. Ken has come out a couple times, and so has the irrigation team to ensure everything is getting the appropriate amount of water, etc. They dont just do the job and then forget about you. They make sure that everything is done COMPLETELY.A big shout out to Hannah and her team - Johnny, Miguel and Kristian. The techs are always prompt and professional and any issues are resolved on the spot with no hassle. Ken runs an A+ operation!I also used them for my outside Christmas lights and they were great. Will certainly use them again next year.

These guys are the single best landscaping company in Plano. Maybe the entire state. They have awesome experience with native plants, trees, and grass and have done beautiful landscaping work at our house on three occasions. Thanks Village Green!

Village Green has been doing my lawn for a coupe of years now and the results have been amazing. When I first started with them my lawn was ok, but not great, with some problem areas. After a consistent plan with them my lawn is so lush, thick and full that it is actually hard to mow at times (which is a nice problem to have!) Many on my block have complimented the transformation and ask me my secret!

Village Green has made my lawn look great. They actually have people on staff that know horticulture. They do what they say will do and notify me if the schedule changes. Their newsletter helped me with my lawn before I was a customer.

I love Village Green! Their Sprinkler Tune-Up is just the BEST! I know nothing about sprinklers...they are just something in the grass that must work if my lawn and garden is going to grow. And I do know when there is something wrong you suddenly have an unexpected fountain in the yard wasting precious water. Thanks to Village Green my sprinklers work as they should but I also know if the unexpected happens they are there to fix it for me.
