I recently used JCs Landscaping to landscape my front garden. I had a lot of garden that I wanted to reduce in addition to wanting a wall surround to be constructed to box in the front garden and trees. I also had a shaded area on the side of my house that I asked for suggestions on what to do with given that it didnt grow grass.They worked with me through email for the initial portion and used the pictures I sent them to estimate and develop a design that would look nice. After getting my HOA to approve, they were on site within the week and completed the job in 1 day!!! The crew that came out were very professional and walked me through the entire design that they were going to do.At the end of the day, they cleaned up the site very well and left the garden area looking very clean and organized. I was very pleased with their work! Picture attached. You will see the wall surrounds that we built for the front garden, side garden and the tree. You will also see that in front of the garden, I asked them to re-sod the area since that is where the old garden use to extend to before we reduced it.Thanks again JCs Landscaping. I definitely recommend them for any landscape project and will probably use them again as I want to hardscape my backyard.

I contracted JCs to do stonework around my homes flowerbeds and large trees. Clint was excellent to work with in getting me a quote very quickly and scheduling the job. They even got my job in earlier due to a cancellation.The crew was on time and did excellent work. The head worker consulted with me on aesthetic choices on the masonry and it came out exactly as I wanted. Very happy with the service overall. Quality and workmanship was top notch.

JCs landscaping did an amazing job on my landscape. After the winter storm most of my shrubs died but they were able to get me scheduled quickly, gave me a choice in the type of shrubs and flowers planted and made my landscape look beautiful again. They also installed everything exactly the way I requested. I have used them for a few years now and the price is always fair and the work is always good. If they make a mistake they promptly address it. Also, any time I call or email with questions or concerns my phone/email call is always promptly returned.

I used JCs landscaping for about 2 years untill we moved out of the house. They are very professional and do a great job everytime! In two years we never saw any cut grass left anywhere and the landscape looked very nice. They always cleanup after their work and are very curteous.

We are very happy for all the quick responses, on schedule services, listening and meeting my requirements, and the best of all — the nice landscaping that I always wanted. JC Landscaping started maintaining our lawn just prior and through the pandemic, on routine and never failed. When one crew couldnt make it, another was there and it was pretty seamless, we only noticed because our regular team knows about certain quirky areas so only a small area was missed but they sent someone within the week to trim it. We couldnt be happier and our lawn is basically in a constant state of tidy & well-kempt!They also did a beautiful job with placing sod for us and checking how things were going, Clint is very responsive. If you keep him informed about any patches which arent quite working, as you go, he has offered to replace as needed. But we followed his instructions and it turned out great and greened-up without needing any replacement sod.JCLandscaping (from Clint and his team at planning stages, to Sergio and his crew on site) has always had a positive, can-do attitude which I greatly appreciate!!! I am a bit finicky about which plants I have against the house and Ive been hesitant, but I finally asked for help and not only did they make great suggestions, but they let me participate as much or as little as I wanted in re-landscaping the front. I sketched a map and they followed it while allowing for flexibility too. (Remember as a customer too, we must be a little flexible ourselves given current availability and the fact we are working with nature - plants and weather) They revamped the entire front beds with high nutrient soil plus the premium, dark mulch which I requested along with very specific shrubs which they were able to find!The crew is so easy going and Sergio is a pleasure to work with, theyre all so genuinely kind, along with the hard work they provide, which are priceless qualities. The prices are competitive and based off square footage/task, plus the entire team goes above and beyond, so you are getting top quality and value for all your landscaping needs!

JC installed stone borders around the flower beds and replaced some plants for us. The met with us and provided helpful recommendations, worked with us to get us a quote and get the work approved by the HOA, scheduled the work, showed up on time and got it done quickly and correctly. The end result looks great! They did excellent work. The stone cutters left a lot of debris, and the planters destroyed the drip lines, but JC came back a couple of days later and fixed it all up again. Overall, it was a positive experience.

DO NOT USE! It’s been a month for us trying to fix our leaking sprinklers. No phone responses and only get responses via email. They give us certain day/time that they will come but no one ever comes. Waste of our time waiting around for no one to show up. I don’t usually leave reviews but this deserve a 0 stars because it’s so weird how they have 5 stars?! Not professional at all!

Just moved in and didnt have a lawn mower of my own, told them the yard was very unkempt and to come out ASAP. They didnt manage to get me scheduled after the first time I called them (the first red flag) and I recieved a notice from the city so I asked them to please come before the inspector came again and they said theyd waive the tall grass fee. They were supposed to come Thursday, no call, no show, so I called them and asked what was up, they said theyd come tomorrow so I asked them to please come early in the morning because the inspector was supposed to come to see if the yard was brought in compliance that day.Around noon I get a call saying that they came by and left because they werent equiped to mow the yard and that it would cost extra. I went to home Depot and bought the cheapest little mower that could, and knocked it out in 30 minutes (not before I got fined of course).Poor communication skills, seemed like they never kept notes so if you told someone something on the phone itd be gone and forgotten.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This was the worst service I have ever experienced. First of all they gave me all kinds of different quotes, didnt communicate clearly, broke the key to my lock, and have been nothing but rude through this whole entire process. Honestly I have never experienced worse service in my life! This business is absolutely atrocious! On top of everything else, they now blackmailed me when I left a negative review on google about them, they said if I remove it they will give me a refund, if I dont then they wont. Absolutely atrocious!

Worked with Gary from JC Landscaping on detailed planning prior to work. Replaced St Augustine Palmetto that was installed poorly by another company - JC Landscaping does the proper preparation of soil !! Also had them pull out 34 year old Burford Hollies and replace with new shrubs. Installed flagstone where grass would not grow (looks amazing). Replaced old/rotting railroad ties with boulders - great idea from Gary. Crew showed up on time - professional, hard working and courteous. Very pleased. Their foreman Diego was great to work with and very accommodating. All of their crew were great as well. Highly recommend. Advise to be home when they do their work as it helps to make sure to keep lines of communication flowing.

I signed up for JC’s lawn mowing service and it’s been the easiest year with any lawn service since I moved into my house 10+ years ago. They’ve taken care of everything in terms of being on schedule, cleaning up after themselves, and even being careful when mowing around my garden plants. JCs Landscsping is amazing. We have had spme shrubs/bushes that are out of control and hard to maintain. They were able to trim the shrubs/bushes while keeping them at the height we wanted. The shrubs/bushes are so straight and look perfect. JCs is also very reasonably priced and respond in a timely manner. If youre looking for lawn maintenance, look no further than JCs.

I hired this company to provide lawn care: mow, edge, and to trim a few shrubs. The phone staff taking care of quotes and booking was great. The actual product, leaves a bit to be desired. The person cutting the lawn was quick, but blew the clippings in my neighbors yard and street. The lawn cutting is the quality level I expected from a contractor; mediocre. The group cutting the shrubs showed up and started working, thankfully I heard them so I could run out and tell them how I wanted the shrubs trimmed, unfortunately they didnt listen and cut the shrubs a foot shorter than we discussed 10 minutes earlier. They did, take the shrub clippings with them, and the shrubs dont look terrible. This is an average lawn service company.

The workers are consistent and careful. They do and artful job making your yard look fresh and trim. The customer service is great too!

I reached out for quotes from several companies and JCs largely won out from responsiveness and their online portal for payments, services, etc. Past experience with other companies was either a pain (faulty payment system based on PayPal) or just lack of response/followup. We went off good the google reviews also, thinking that everything was going to be great work. We’re not taking about quotes of a couple hundred dollars. This company is charging thousands of dollars!!! Which I would have been fine with, had the work been done. A credit card was required before any work was done, (my mistake as a first time home buyer). Go to YELP, this companies real reviews are there. My husband took care of this whole thing (before my name was changed), until no one would answer or call us back AFTER we had been charged in full. This company is out to get your credit card, do half the work, if any at all, and hope you get tired of trying to contact them and just forget about it!! This company has BY FAR the worst business tactic known to man. My husband and I used them for 3 French drains and to fix our flower bed. We read reviews on google that gave them almost 5 stars (HAAAAA yeah freaking right). Those reviews had to have been paid for by them or done by friends. They would respond to us and call us back BEFORE they put our credit card on file. After that, it took them forever to give my husband a date as to when they would be out to do the work. It was always, well be out Monday or Tuesday and then never show. Two weeks later when they finally showed up, it was completely random and the guys they hired to do the job didnt know they were doing 3 French drains, luckily my husband was home and redirected them. The work they did was good (not complaining about that), however when we asked when they were coming back to do our flowerbed the guys working told us tomorrow. Fast forward two weeks, still no one had come to do the flower bed and our card was charged for the FULL PRICE. My husband called over and over...no answer and no call back. They would only respond through email. Told us again they would be out either Thursday or Friday. Never came. Finally it took me going up and talking to someone in person and threatening to call my credit card company for fraud before anything was done about it. I told rick or whoever I had talked too that I wanted to be reimbursed for the work that was never done. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! Like I said, they are out to get your money hoping you wont want to deal with trying to get ahold of them!!!!

Exceptional quality and speed. We were in need of sod but were clueless about types and install. I had services with JCs for over a year. They only missed a scheduled service a few times, but only because of weather. They are very quick when servicing, yet the quality of their work is solid. Further, they are priced very well. I would recommend their services in a heartbeat if you are looking for getting out of the Texas heat and having a company handle your lawn care for you.

JCs Landscaping has been extremely responsive and punctual with keeping my yard cut and trimmed. They have done a great job and I highly recommend them.

Installed sod, which died within weeks. They told me to wait until summer and get back to them. After doing so they told me its past warranty (3 months) and refused to fix it. Most of my lawn is dead and theyve refused to help. They also didnt communicate during installation and had to redo it twice. I have no idea how they have so many good reviews.EDIT: This was NOT due to neglect. I followed all instructions and specifically asked what I should do to keep sod alive. Was only told to water. I did my own research and found a regiment that includes specific fertilizers, nitrogen, etc for the type of grass they installed. They did not help me at all and about 75% of the installed sod is in bad shape

They did an outstanding job on installing a stone border around our flower bed and trees. Very patient in answering questions and ideas we had and was able to translate them into an outstanding plan. But the results were better than imagined. They take great pride in workmanship and cleaned everything up where beds looked better than when they started. Will be my first and only call for next project.

These guys are incredibly reliable and do great work. My parents bought my husband and I lawn care service as a wedding gift ( great idea as a gift FYI). They always do a great job, never missing anything and cleaning up.miticulosly. They also trimmed our bushes, hauled away brush, and took out two trees. All of the work was done quickly and for reasonable prices. I definitely recommend them.

We are getting our property ready to sell and JCs Landscaping did an amazing job making the yard look great. They were very responsive to my original request for a quote through the follow-up questions I had about maintenance. They gave a quote based on pictures which allowed me to get a fast estimate and make a decision. The team was professional and friendly. They arrived when they said they would had everthing done in a few hours. I highly recommend this company.

Unfortunately these guys are very difficult to deal with and dont do what they promise. What they did actually do was done well. However there were several key points that they didnt complete and when contacted they would ask for pictures. I would provide -- they would then say they would take care of it -- and it never happened. I repeated this step several times. On top of everything, there crew drove all over my neighbors yard, ruining portions of his grass and breaking a sprinkler head. They actually sort of fixed that. Other work remains undone and Im tired of dealing with these people so Im done with it. Its not worth my time. I wouldnt even pay these guys to mow my lawn in the future.

Great folks, I have a small yard, but they seem to treat me as if I was their largest customer.... their attention to detail and customer service is outstanding.

Inexpensive, yes - but not worth the uneven service The mowers rush through the lawn service with one of the workers pushing two hand mowers at the same time and leaving thin seams of uncut grass between the mowers. One week they skipped doing my back yard and the owner promised to take ten dollars off the bill, but after three months I had to email them again before they took the money off. They broke two sprinkler heads and didnt tell me and, because my sprinkler goes off before dawn, it took a week to discover the problem. I have two properties and we started the season with mowing every other week, but they still charged me for the full months and refused to adjust even though I had security camera footage to show they never came. Their emails are polite when I advised them of the issues, but the follow-through on their promise is non-existent.
