The building was well lit and not very many people working in the office right now. The agents in the office were polite and helpful. I went in to fax some documentation to the Texas workforce commission. The receptionist said she could not help me with it but I could get the info faxed to the office and they helped get the facts sent. The office has reduced hours till 4:30 but is open. Good resource if you are needing help looking for work. According to a sign inside every Tuesday Burlington has a job fair on site. Call them for hours of the job fair.

The Whitelady At the front desk is rude and unprofessional she need to learn how to speak with people her customer service skills is very poor

The front desk lady is the most unprofessional women I have ever dealt with. Shes rude and just not smart enough to be dealing with costumers. She hung up on me 3 times and I had to yell at her like a child to get her to help me. Super pathetic.

Omg! Unpleasant, unprofessional and outdated!The front desk receptionist is a joke. I was very clear and precise as to what I needed. She talked in circles, confused until a decent worker approached us and took over my request. What was that?? Lol. I wasn’t registered properly for an orientation and I was made to run around to get the proper documentation. All I could do was laugh. This place is poorly run and lacking professionalism. Clearly there is no accountability. Hopefully I can utilize another county’s services, if ever needed. I have no problem avoided this place.

Terrible front desk and operators. During a time of uncertainty, the lady at the front desk hung up on me two times. She asked me to hold the second time and she was talking to other people and then literally hung up on me and sending me straight to voicemail. Unprofessional and not the people I want to go to for help during this time. I’m mind blown but how rude she was.

The workshops that they offer are extremely beneficial. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The office itself is very clean and all the equipment in the resource area works great, the computers, copy machine & fax machine. I give this office 5 stars.

Highly recommend place. They are very helpful in finding a job and even are open to help with other issues along the way, helping you to get back on your feet and to become independent. If you are in a bad place in your life, just go there and tell them everything. They will find a way to help you. They helped me a lot.

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. One of the job counseling consultants approached me and offered her services. I didnt need them at the time, but appreciated her being proactive. All of the equipment worked properly and the place was clean.

Beware! Youve walked into the office of the living dead! The staff isold, ancient, illiterate, unprofessional, ill-mannered, and have absolutely NO CLUE what the hell they are doing!They were trained to do or say one little thing, and if you ask them something outside the realm of that one little thing they were trained to regurgitate on a daily basis, then their little brains go all schizo and smoke comes out of their ears, and they run around in circles foaming at the mouth.It must be a very sweet ride to come to a job and get paid by taxpayers money to pretty much do absolutely NOTHING all day but pretend to look like you are busy doing an actual job.Everything in these offices can be done online. EVERYTHING! There is no reason to even have a staff of living dead infest these buildings, waste job seekers time, and waste taxpayers dollars like this.Pitiful.

I’ve made two trips to this office and both times left with nothing. First, I came for “mandatory orientation” where they discussed how to browse the internet for jobs and which internet sites had better resources than they had. We were told we would sit with someone who would look at our resume’, get us set up with a career plan, discuss training opportunities and since I’m a veteran, discuss additional resources. However, reality is the person assigned to me spent literally less than 2 minutes with me. Gave me a print out saying what my career field looked like (I work in IT), gave me an incorrect date of a resume workshop and sent me out the door without answering a single question. Fast forward to today. I found my own job, but need access to a computer to complete on boarding that can’t be done via my iPad. I walked in, asked the person at the desk if I could use a computer and she kept going on about the “work in Texas” website is down. That’s fine I don’t need that site, I just need a computer. She still fails to understand my request and eventually I leave. I’ll just go buy a computer to get this done. These people are either incompetent or completely lazy. Either way I have failed to encounter a person who works at this place that understands or cares to help people in any capacity. Truly, the DMV of employment.

The staff is old, moody, and NOT computer literate. They might be great on a Tuesday and awful on a Thursday, youre dealing with peoples livelihood, you CAN NOT have people like this working there. They impose their own rules that have NOTHING to do with the North Texas Workforce, its giving the company as a whole a bad name.

Staff are rude, often dont allow you to finish your sentence. Went there for a Job Fair and staff kept finger pointing directions to incomplete locations making people re-enter lines which delayed them A LOT. Veterans representative and WIAO representative are good. Desk person on the left side tries her best to be efficient while multitasking.Good luck.

The staff was friendly and the facility was clean and well maintained. I would certainly visit this location again were I to need further assistance.I was a little put off when I saw an armed security guard on duty. Kinda makes me wonder what kind of trouble theyve had there previously.

I was told I could get training here through the WIOA program, they make it sound good but in reality they are not going to help you. I was checking out schools and the schools wouldnt even return my call when they found out it was plano workforce solutions. I was told by several school directors that plano doesnt pay for school and to go to dallas or garland workforce center if I really wanted to go to school. I did some research and that was very good advice. Plano talks the talk but cant walk the walk. All they will do is try to get you a job with the skills you already have. Its sad they they mislead people that really want to better themselves. I hope this save someone from being mislead and let down. Keep you head high and dont give up the training is there for you, just not from plano workforce solutions. Peace and Love

Required for bureaucratic processes, however many useful aids for job seekers with technology challenges. Computers, Access to the internet, workshops, and recruiting assistance. Also, Job Fairs, held frequently, may allow for applicants to meet with employers.

What’s point on having a number and can’t even get hold of anyone I been trying since 8am and it’s already 10 what’s really going on

So my mom made me get a freaking job and she’s all like “you’re gonna get a job through the workforce” 🙄 so anyway now I have a job but they sent a stupid coach over like I don’t need a coach I’m pretty sure I can handle this job on my own and stop calling me special needs just because I have ADHD bc I’m NOT special needs. I am quitting their services once I turn 21 bc I’m not putting up with them anymore. They really know how to piss people off.

Went there today for work and school related things. The staff had a issue with me looking up info in regards to school. You pretty much assist yourself in finding work. The staff is old and cripple, u cant understand half the stuff that heavy set flash light cop says. When you ask to speak to someone in regards to helping you find work, they look someone up for u by your last name, but they never come to the front to greet u? I over heard the staff talking about how much they hate their job. I was only going to the workforce to utilize there computers and faxes for school an work related things, I never looked to the staff to really assist in helping me find work. After today I will never go back!

Everytime time I visit or call, a receptionist Patricia speaks in a rude and unwelcoming manner and does not know about the facility services and programs. I have to check in with her and ask her question to be directed for the service, but I feel so unpleasant everytime I speak to her even briefly. She only repeats the same answers whatever the question or inquiry is. And her tone and face is as if you were a child who has bothered her while she is so busy working on something else. She never smiles. Whenever she directed me for a service, it was not the right place or she missed something I needed beforehand. So other staff had to redirect me or send me back to her, forcing me to talk to her again. But she would only repeat the same thing she just told me before. Workforce Solutions should either retrain her to be better at her job or at least remove her to the back so she would not be the first person to be dealed with at the facility.

Staff always friendly and helpful. They will do their part if you do yours.

The older woman who polices the resource room stood over me while I printed documentation for school. She followed me from the printer to the desk I was at to the printer three times and rudely asked me when Id be done. I wont be back for this location. Sorry I dont own a printer.
