I have used John not only for personal tax matters, but referred my mother to him as well. He has handled tax matters for the company I worked for prior to me using him as a personal accountant. Unfortunately we had a terrible experience. We were quoted $500-$1000 and after paying $500 upfront in good faith were we told the fee is now up to $2500. A few days later we were up to $3600. When I told them I felt stuck and was going to share my experience they cancelled me and kept my $500! As an honest business owner, I couldnt ever treat my clients in such a disrespectful manner. I am frustrated that I wasted my time, money and energy on this outfit. At the very least do not keep my funds! I suppose they need the money more than I do but that does not give one the right to steal.

I found John Furge on the internet searching for an accountant in Plano. Was I ever glad I did! I had gotten a letter from the IRS saying that I owed thousands of dollars from a transaction that I had done a couple years before. Talk about a lump in my throat, its never fun to get a letter from the IRS, especially when they say you owe thousands. It turns out the the IRS made a mistake, John found the IRS mistake quickly after looking through my papers, and with one simple letter it was all straightened out.Consider me a loyal fan.
