I originally went in for an oil change and one of the employees saw that my check engine light was on and I thought it was just a sensor but come to find out it was more. I was wondering why my Ac was not blowing like it use to and they check that for me as well. Let me just say that I love this place and the employees because they check for everything to ensure that your vehicle stays in good standing. This is not the last time they will see me.

Not just for oil changes & inspection! This shop correctly diagnosed and fixed a MAJOR issue that was literally going to cost me $3k+ at the dealership. 😬 The crew at this shop is just as knowledgeable and probably MORE honest than the folks at a dealership. When the mechanic is willing to walk me out underneath the car to SHOW me what the issue is, or isn’t, that’s when you know they have nothing to hide. You don’t get that kind of transparency at a huge dealership. (You get a salesman in wrinkled khakis that knows nothing about actual cars)I will be bringing my car to this shop from now on, no questions asked! I came in today after hearing a scraping sound come from the bottom of my car. Luckily I was greeted and helped by Keith, he helped me get in and out of there in less than 15 minutes. When it was time to pay he told me that I didn’t have to and that made me feel very happy because there are still people in this world who will do acts of kindness free of charge. I will definitely be coming back because the customer service here is outstanding and refreshing.

These guys were great! I came in with a flat tire and they helped me out right away even though they usually do not handle tires. I would recommend their service.

Im going to be up front - I feel that this Kwik Kar is rude to women, and probably men as well, however as a woman Im very frustrated with dealing with this Kwik Kar. I went to the shop a few days ago and asked to get my tires checked due to hearing a sound as I was driving that was unusual. They agreed to look at the tires, and I asked if they didnt find anything specifically on the tires to let me know and ask for my goahead to check the rest of the vehicle. I was late to an appointment, but wanted to at least know my tires were okay enough to drive on.They chose to let me sit there for 20 extra minutes with it just sitting off to the side before they communicated with me... Tell me there is some issue with a part and it must be replaced. I told them I didnt have the time for that right then, but I could return later if safe and the manager rolled his eyes at me and said it would be my loss. I understand having issues with the car is a problem, but this was not the way to respond to me. Especially as I was already running late due to them looking at it and letting it sit an extra 20 minutes.I chose to drive to a different location after my appointment and they discovered it wasnt even related to what the manager of this location said. I will never return to this location again, although it is more convenient to go to this location the employees are awful, the shop and waiting area was a mess, and a waste of my time.

Lynden is a great mechanic who is honest and fair. This is my go to spot for all my car repair needs. Dennis is the manager there and hell do his best to advise the best solution to meet your needs.

I have lived in Frisco for 12 years now. Been to a few different repar shops. Never felt I was treated well . But here at Kwik Kar every time I have gone iv been treated with respect. No spoken down to for being a woman. They really help me understand whats going on and what the cost will be. Im very thankful for them.

I went to this location to get my Range Rover sport transmission serviced. My transmission had been leaking and I took it in to get a quote on parts and labor. Lyndon, greeted me at the door and educated me on what the process was beforehand. He ordered the part right there in front of me before they closed and they were ready to work on it by 11 the next morning. Lyndon showed me under my car and what was going on, this business was transparent and honest with me throughout the whole process. I will definitely be taking my vehicle here from now on. The whole staff there was friendly, I have zero complaints.

I have been coming to this location for decades! They always provide great service, honest, and fair. I heard a noise from the engine and took my car in. Turned out to be a simple fix as a old oil cover mat was causing the noise. The team did not charge me for the easy repair, I was so grateful. The dealership would have charged me $189 for the time and another &120 to replace the mat that I really don’t need. Go here for your service and repair needs, you won’t regret it!

I have been there three times for an alignment this time they crashed a vehicle into another one after a brake flush. The manager told me 30 minutes after an hour they said sorry can’t do the service. Horrible customer service. Would not recommend

Brought my car in for a check engine light and a rough running vehicle. Lyndon took care of me figured out what was going on with my vehicle very quickly. Fixed my problem and got me back on the road within the hour. I would definitely recommend these guys, fair and honest. Nice to be able to trust a shop. Before going to Kwik I went to a shop across the street name Express state inspections and the gentleman there was pretty rude. So I decided to go elsewhere and I found Kwik, as soon as I pulled in I was greeted by Kenny. Kenny was extremely professional and very friendly. I was in and out very quickly. The customer service was great I will be back for future needs.

Linden, Miguel, and Tristan are awesome. Very honest, quick with service and service is done right. Just wish they had a K-cup coffee maker and a doorbell or something to alert the mechanics that someone is here. Theyll all be working in the shop and sometimes not see someone pull in because theyre very busy. Once they do see you, theyre very friendly. Would highly recommend and will be returning.

I left my vehicle with him, and was called an hour later when they said it would be ready. He did not try to charge me extra for anything and once again was very friendly. Outstanding service and professionalism in our brief experience here. Our truck’s battery suddenly died in a shopping center parking lot. We went over to Kwik Kar for a battery, expecting to have to manage everything ourselves once we purchased one. Thankfully, Pablo went out of his way to help us out. And just like that, we were good to go in 10 minutes. A big thank you to Pablo for going above and beyond!

I have been using this location for many years. My check engine light came on. I had them connect the vehicle to diagnostic equipment.The technicians are ASE certified. The replaced plugs and coils. A week later, the check engine lightcame on again. I returned, and the diagnostics still showed a problem with the same cylinder. The technician replaced the plug and coil at no charge, and said that if the warning came back, the injector would be replaced under warranty.Customer for life!

I have 2015 civic, and kwik Kar said I needed $70 synthetic. I called dealership who said they would change oil with a synthetic blend at $47, the full synthetic is not needed, and only offered at dealership upon request. Needless to say, I need to look for another place to do business with.

Pulled up to the Kwik Kar on Ohio in Plano. The place was completely empty. I have always used Kwik Kar for all my oil changes. I was told I had to exit my car for the oil change. Never in my life have I had to exit my car. I, for one, am disabled and two, I had a sleeping toddler in the backseat. They were extremely rude and I will never ever use Kwik Kar again. It doesn’t cost a thing to be nice. Customer service is definitely lacking at this location! No wonder they had absolutely no business on a Saturday!

This is the only place I will go to take my car. The staff is always so friendly and helpful, and I can trust them. Its hard being a woman and going to a mechanic shop, and you feel like you are being constantly taken advantage of. But this Kwik Kar has an awesome team and super fast service! I appreciate them so much.

I took my car for an oil change on Ohio drive, Plano, TX on March 29,2018. I left my car at home while I went out of town for Easter. When I returned and was getting ready to go to work, the tail pipe was smoking (white smoke) I was afraid to drive back to Ohio with that much smoke so I went to a near by shop and asked them if they could figure out what was wrong. Well they told me that the oil change I recently got flooded and basically did a lot of damage. I emailed Kwik Kar because they did not answer the phone and they responded quickly and apologized and told me that they would repair anything that they messed up. What a relief. Well when my friend got there (I had work) they said that they didn’t service the car (she went to the wrong location) but he said that the correct location would do the same for me. Well they were wrong….. they called and said that since the vehicle was touched by another place it wasn’t under warranty with them anymore and that all they saw that was wrong was the turbo and they didn’t replace those and the oil change didn’t effect that. WHATTT???? So you mean to tell me that my car had no service lights or anything but an oil change light and now it doesn’t even run after y’all did an oil change and now you can’t fix it but it is filled with oil coming out of the pipe and in the exhaust?? Worst place EVER

70.00 for just an oil change.. I dont think Ill EVER go back there when other Kwik Kar only charge 50.00... they get 3 starts because I was in and out in about 20min.

I visited the location on Ohio Drive in Plano Texas. I arrived at 3:58p. There were no cars in the bay. I asked for a wheel alignment. He told me they didn’t do wheel alignments. There was a giant sign that I took a picture of that said alignments $58. How is this possible? I understand it’s hot outside but it was an entire hour before closing and I just spent $700 on new tires and needed an alignment. This is unacceptable.

Awful service. Manager was rude and unhelpful. Was quoted a price for diagnostic services and then told at the counter that the price was actually +$40 what they quoted me initially. Do not go here unless you are looking for dishonest mechanics.

I find this location to be very honest. Ive used their services for oil changes and repairs and theyre estimates have come in far below their competitors.To the person who complained about being required to exit the car during the oil change... As a fellow customer, I would imagine its due to the fire risk. The entire place is working with highly flammable oil! Ive seen a repair shop go up in flames and it doesnt take long before it is a disaster. I wouldnt want to be trying to get out of a car (especially if Im disabled and have a small child sleeping in the backseat!) If other places are letting you wait in your car during service, reconsider. For safety sake - just wait for your car in the waiting room.

Oil change was fast and the maintenance rep. Knew his stuff in, terms of Valvoline oil and what my engine was rated for.Took maybe 20 minutes to get my oil changed and out the door.

They told me I needed the more expensive synthetic oil. I found out later that was a lie- I won’t go back!

My engine light was on and I went to one Auto Service @Independence and the feedback was I would get the evaporation control canister replaced. The estimate was more than $800. I felt not safe about this estimate and I went to internet to check the parts price and came to Kwik Kar @Ohio. Mike, the manager in this workshop, called me that the problem was broken gas cap. In the end, we repaired this only about $30.I appreciate highly about the honest service in this work shop. I strongly recommend this shop.

Went in to kwik kar on ohio dr about 2 wks ago dealt with store manager Rolando he was great and knew his stuff very informative on everything going on while my vehicle was in there care. This business is a SCAM!!! BEWARE OF THIS SCAM!! I went to the one on Preston and Plano, they overcharged for $50 windshield wipers that I didnt need. They quoted me $25! The managers refused to do anything about it when I complained. I will report them to the Texas board. Thieves!!!! Scam!! I will everyone know on ALL social media platform what shady, terrible business you are operating.

I went here for oil change they charged me for $60. It seems expensive. Job was done nicely but I dont want to spend $60 for next oil change. I wish they should re-look at their rates.

My wife got an oil change on 2012 honda accord for $160 bucks in this place. They lied to her and told her she needed very special kind of oil just for honda and changed her cabin filter inside of glove box. Thief in a day light I hope your business never makes a single penny ever again. I am also reporting you to BBB. BTW lost a customer for life and I been telling everyone I know and meet about your sticky fingers.

90$ for a oil change??

They’ve done practically every oil change on my truck since I started working in Frisco back in 2017. For some reason today they claimed they wouldn’t unless I used synthetic oil. The justification being that the oil cap recommends 0W20 which is a synthetic. I pointed out the last change sticker showing that they used 5W20, the “manager” claimed all those people had been fired. I’m thinking he’s the one who should be fired not knowing that 5W20 is just fine in a warm weather state instead of 0W20. As it stands they have lost a customer.

I had an issue with my truck I took it to multiple shops to get diagnosed and I was told different issues were the problem with my truck I took it to this place of business in plano the Kwik Kar lube and they found out the issue and diagnose the problem and fixed it. big money saved
