The ads were not accurate and misleads consumers. I opted for the instant refund under the impression that it applied to anyone filing.  Apparently there needs to be an approval for the instant refund.  In addition to this, their terms for a basic w2 filling are vague. I am below the working poor income level and was vastly overcharged for the processFor three W-2s I was charged significantly more than the $60 advertised. I had a large portion deducted from my already small refund.  Feeling frustrated, especially since numerous friends warned me against filing with H&R because of their fees, I left a one star rating.  The branch manager reached out to me in concern and that level of customer service deserves one more star.

LaKisha is simply the best. Friendly, informative, punctual, and thorough, I always appreciate her preparing my return and offering tips and insight on always securing a bigger return for the following year. She’s a 🌟!(The office has a very family feel as well.)
