After a long frustrating day at work, I wasnt able to get back to the laundry mat in time to put my stuff in the dryer. Once off work, I made my way to the laundry mat to finish up. I walked in and noticed my stuff wasnt in the washer. Last time that happened they put them in a bag wet. Understandable though. They have to keep them open for other customers. But come to find out, I believe her name is sharith. ( definitely spelling it wrong) she took it upon her self and dried my clothes. Not only dried them but folded them too! After a hell of a day, That little gesture made it that much better. Ill be bringing her a nice tip and a gift card tomorrow.All in all the mat is always clean and the staff is more then accommodating. Always asking if you need any help and making conversation with you. 10 stars.

Thanks to Ramone my experience was a good one. Going to the laundromat is a once or twice a year thing for me. So today I ventured out to wash an oversized mattress pad. This is my first time at Soap Opera and Im grateful Ramone was patient, kind and assisted me along the way. Again, a huge thanks for your assistance. Happy Sunday!To be clear, it wasnt just questions answered by Ramone as the reason why I made my post the way I did. Ramone actually helped me and showed me how to use the extra large washer. I also heard and seen him provide the same care with other customers and I trust you all realize this makes him an asset to your business. Thank you.

This place has mega machines at the front of thier location. This has been the 2nd or third time that we have gone to this location due. To our dryer not working. These machines were told to us that they are not working after we had all our clothes in them. There was no sign on any of these three machines. The gentleman who worked there walked by us twice without saying a word. The dryers are inconistant some were warmer than others. I feel bad for people who have to this place on a regular basis

Terrible service lady huffs an puffs about helping custoners card got charged twice then refused to help get money transfsrred over to card aaying it doesnt work even though i just showed her it works terrible service only come as last resort. .....

Prices are just as high in Chicago whats up with that, and the laundromat where I use to live isnt expensive at all compare to here. Good thing Im only here cuz my washer broke.

Its a great place to wash your Landry! Its Clean, Its Sanitized and there is plenty of machines to use! The Staff is very Sweet & Friendly. Good amount of side businesses to grab a bite to eat or just a little snack!

Super expensive and F I L T H Y. Its seriously disgusting in here everytime I go in. You dont want any clean clothes to fall on the floor, thats for sure.

My first and last time coming here. I walked in and bought the pre-paid card without looking at the prices and then l saw them and it was $3.99 per one wash! And then if that wasnt bad enough it didnt even get my clothes clean on the first wash so I had to pay ANOTHER $3.99 to wash them and had to buy more detergent which wasnt that expensive but still. The dryers were about the only good part of this laundromat haha but it was v clean and kept up I will give them that.

Needs an attendant during the day. Filthy for a place to come Clean my clothes. 1st time. Will only come back because I (really) paid $1 for the card disguise as membership. Had leave over $11.00 on the card. Ooooh and the washer didnt wring my clothes. So ummmyea

I love the idea that this laundromat has embraced technology. I think all point of service vendors should adopt this technology. Youre able to use your bank card to load money onto their membership card and use it for the purpose of washing/drying your clothes. You can also purchase laundry detergent with this card.However, I have a couple of things I dont like. I dont like that the charge to wash your clothes is something like, $7.39...Where does the $.39 come from? Are we being charged tax too? Just make it $7.50 for goodness sakes... I dont know but the odd charge makes me feel some type of way. But most importantly, the real reason for my post is that I washed a comforter and it took me three rounds of double drying (14 minutes each round) and my comforter still wasnt completely dry. The cost, wait for it, $.39 for 7 minutes each. Therefore, I spent $2.80 just to attempt to dry my comforter plus $7.39 to wash my comforter. My total cost to wash my comforter was $10.20. I think thats outrageous...especially to only end up having a partially dry comforter. I think that the next time I do business with this place, I will only wash my comforter and take it home to dry. Or simply find another place with cheaper rates.

Second time here and Im never coming back. I put clothes in washer machine 7, I go back at the end when it finished and all the clothes was still dry a d the detergent was still intact. Since there wasnt an attendant there I started it again, the machine started a d no water was coming out, I go outside to make a phone call to try to reach the owner since there was no attendant the 1 hour Ive been there, luckily after 10 minutes the water fit came out but it took 10 whole minutes off the washing time and there is barely any water coming out. Worse laundromat in the 815 area, definitely not wasting my time and money here again. This laundromat should have an attendant available at all times when open.

Broken equipment unposted. Small and crowded. Dirty. Better to being cash here or you will need to buy a card. Make sure you use it all, because you cant use the rest anywhere else.

From the moment we walked in the door, the attendant was the most helpful person I have probably ever encountered. She showed us how to use the machines, how to load the card and helped us throughout our whole time there. Beyond that she was genuinely happy to help us. I would gladly drive out of my way to use this laundromat vs using some of the closer located ones. Very pleased :)

MR MIKE IS A VERY VERY HELPFUL EMPLOYEE HERE, HE HELP ME REGISTER MY CARD THREW THE SOAP OPERA LAUDROMAT, I DONT KNOW HIM FROM A CAN OF PAINT, THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME EVER HERE, I LIVE OUT OF TOWN AND BUT THIS IS GOING TO BE MY SPOT FOR NOW ON.

Has automatic doors, clean and well maintained. Many different size washers and two sizes of dryers.

We washed & dried our dirty colours & White clothes and we go to the store.

The attendant was very helpful on the first visit. Helped save some extra cents on sized loads. Thet have a charge card and its nice because if you register it and then happen to lose it, you can gain the money back.

Its on the pricier side. Had to do laundry there once it was clean and everything worked great. Just sucked that I had to load money on a card to get a drink from the soda machine.

Worst laundromat ever. Sometimes automating things screws people, this is one of those times. Tried to wash a comforter and kept telling me to slide my card to start, it took $5.39 off my card each time until it was empty, while the machine never even started. I spent (donated!!) $10 to NOT get my comforter clean!!! Terrible.

Attendant only on duty 3-10pm. All machines need a laundry card which has a minimum purchase of $10. Very clean.

Takes forever to dry.Somebody open my dryer to take some money I left in my pockets out and didnt even start it back.... Wish I would have caught them.... Owner was walking around all day until I went to get something eat not doing a thing.No meet and greet no thanks for choosing us, I helped more customers than he did.
