Wow, I can really say that I am impress with the excellence in service I received from Classic Heavy Duty Towing. Customer service over the phone was exceptional. The people I spoke to provided me with the same estimate for my project. On site both gentlemen greeted me with on time and with respect. It was more of a job that we all expected but at the end they did it and still honored the quote provided over the phone. I definitely recommend them. Will be using them for any future needs.

Classic Towing helped with towing my pick-up truck from Naperville to Sugar Grove. They sent a brand new flatbed which was extremely impressive. No complaints! Had some belt issues with my 04 cobra which left me stranded. Channing came an got me and was very cognizant of by car being lowered and made sure it was carefully loaded on the flatbed. It was only about a 5 mile tow back to my house. The service for my damaged vehicle was patient, flexible and went beyond what was expected. One frustrating issue was the removal of my car license plate which was screwed on too tightly. I was stripping it with a screwdriver. The vehicle tow driver patiently utilized another yet appropriate tool,a circular ratchet wrench, to carefully and successfully remove the license plate without damage. He also courteously discussed and provided some explanation and insight of the vehicles damaged condition, repair issues and the coverage of the car insurance. I am sure the service will continue as I must return to the damaged car now stored in the tow lot to retrieve the Ipass tollway device.

Great experience. Saved the day when the company that my insurance called left me out stranded for damn near three hours, Classic came through in about 30 minutes. Was stranded on I55 recently on a Saturday evening and took a shot to use Classic and I am very glad i did. George was very nice and helpful and recommended a garage to get me back up and running. The whole experience of breaking down on the highway was bad but I was in good hands and everything ended up working out very smoothly.

After calling around the area and getting quotes from different companies, Classic Towing was the best I could find. I called this morning and within 30 minutes I had a truck there who was able to help me out. I was a bit weary since I had called a company yesterday and the driver actually left saying he couldnt help me, but I was so relieved when the driver (Channing is his name) said he just needed to fiddle with my car to load it. Next thing I knew we were on the way!Channing was super polite, professional and ON TIME. I cant stress how grateful I am to have had such a good experience, especially for such a reasonable price. If I ever find myself in a tough spot again Im definitely calling them.

I broke down on the side of I-80 around 11pm on a Friday night. George and one of his employees showed up within an hour of being called and got me towed back to his yard for a fair price, no hidden fees after the fact. Called Classic Heavy Duty Towing for a coach bus tow in Aurora, IL. Its never easy, cheap, or pleasant to have a coach bus towed. This company sent out a heavy duty tow truck and two guys to hook up the bus. You could tell they had experience and knew what they were doing. The price was expensive like it always is for this type of service but they did an excellent job. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Classic to others for heavy duty towing.

Would have been just a fine experience if the girl at the front desk didn’t decide to make a snarky comment about how my dad should’ve just “not gotten a DUI”. If she had common sense she would have looked at the paperwork and realized that it wasn’t the same name as his ID. Sweet new wrecker! I can tell Tony really takes pride in his new truck. That thing was immaculate. He also sure knew what he was doing. Had my semi-truck and trailer all hooked up and rolling in about 40 minutes. Had a guy once that took over an hour to just hook up the truck. Since heavy duty towing companies charge by the hour it is important to have a guy that knows what he is doing otherwise you are going to get kinged on the price.

I wish I had something bad to say as I generally hate wrecker companies. They always have you by the balls and are so expensive. But I have to say in this case I was treated fairly. My Volvo and trailer broke down on I-55 in Bolingbrook. I called Classic Towing to get me off the highway. They had a heavy duty wrecker out in less than 40 minutes. They only charged me $600.00 to take me to the Greater Chicago I-55 truck stop which aint too bad a price as heavy duty towing goes. I have paid almost double that price for the same distance.

Have used Classic Towing on numerous occasions now. I have never been disappointed but was especially impressed today. Towed by car to the dealership who told me I could wait for my car to be finished... but when we got there I was told they were backed up and it would have to wait until tomorrow. So I was going to have my wife pick me up when she got off work in about two hours but the driver would hear none of that and gave me a ride home even though it was in the opposite direction that he was going. Really cool guy and a great representation of the company.

I run a small company out of Florida. I had a driver with a time sensitive hot load broken down in Aurora, IL. These guys were great. Classic Towing sent a heavy duty wrecker to pick up the broken truck and recommended a local shop over the dealer. They also sent out a tractor to deliver our load and made it on time!!!! They were then nice enough to bring the trailer back to their yard and store it until the repairs were made on my power unit so my driver could bring the trailer back home to Florida. The police department called out Classic Towing to tow our car after someone rear ended us. My son and I went to the hospital to get checked out. I had a whole bunch of presents in the car. Even though the tow yard was closed Classic Towing had someone wait for us so I could get all my stuff out of the car. RIP OFF guy over charged my wife Takes advantage of people who do not know what a FAIR price is for towing costs they over charged greatly to not even go 2 miles charged over $120. There are hundreds of tow places out there and if you want a fair priced place go anywhere but here. They get 1 star just because they actually were there in a timely fashion but when you take advantage of cost I suggesting going with a most cost efficient trust worthy company.

Needed to have my semi-truck towed from Indiana back to Plainfield, IL. I called Classic Towing and they sent out their heavy duty wrecker to pick me up. The driver was extremely knowledgeable and worked very fast. He didnt try to king me on the hours. This was not my first rodeo and I know heavy duty towing can get very expensive. The price Classic Towing charged me was very fair and they got my tractor where it needed to be in a timely manner.

Absolutely freezing out and my semi-truck was all gelled up in Montgomery, IL. I ran my battery down trying to start the **** thing. Had Classic come out and unfreeze my truck and jump it off. I know roadside costs and especially in the winter, but I was actually pleasantly surprised with the cost. Was nowhere near as bad as I thought it was going to be. These guys are all right.

Got the lowest price in the Joliet area for a short distance tow for my school bus turned RV. They did a fantastic job! Highly recommend them! Fast and easy to work with!

These people shouldn’t even be allowed to run a business, you will get charged for so many different little things that they don’t even advertise or warn you about. They gave me back my car with 5 new dents in it, scratches all over that where not on the car before. They are rude, they should be shut down they are a disgrace to the Towing industry. I wish I could leave a negative star. A 5 year old has more manners / intelligence than all of them combined.

Used Classic Towing to tow one of our tractor-trailers off of I-55 in Bolingbrook back to our garage in Joliet for repairs. They quoted us an hourly rate that was pretty much in line with all the other companies we called but gave an estimate of about 3 hours and stated they would cap the billing at a maximum of 3 hours. Just a weeks before we used another tow company and they gave us a similar hourly rate but charged 4 more hours than the job could have possibly took. Classic was very upfront and honest with their billing. The driver was fast, efficient, and obviously experienced. Great company to work with.

Towed my Volvo connected to a 53 van trailer from Des Plaines to Joliet. Old boy knew what he was doing. Wasnt my first rodeo having a tractor-trailer towed so I know its always charged by the hour in Chicago and not by the mile like in New Mexico. Old boy was fast and not milking the clock at all. Had it all hooked up, shaft dropped, aired up, and on our way in under an hour. Had some cool quick disconnect I had never seen before to air up the truck on a hard line near the compressor that I never knew was there before. Although it was colder than a brass toilet seat in the Yukon today. Maybe thats why old boy was moving his butt so fast! haha. Good company. Call Classic for heavy duty towing.
