Sergey was awesome, straightforward, no BS. Temperatures are below freezing, my vehicle battery was on its last leg, and I didn’t want to risk being stranded. My vehicles battery is located under the passenger seat (more complicated than traditional hood change), I didn’t feel comfortable changing myself. He does an excellent & high quality job! Recently, I took my Subaru to him, not only did he spend time testing it for free, he even rotated my wheels and changed my fuses for free! Hands down best mechanic in Chicagoland. I have had my multiple cars (bmw and chevy) serviced there 6 or 7 times in the past 4-5 years and am always impressed with the speed, quality, and most importantly HONESTY of Sergeys work. He will tell you like it is with no BS, and will explain every option available to you with the pros and cons of each option. I am very familiar with cars and I sometimes feel guilty leaving his shop paying as little as what he charged me, because I know a dealership would have charged me 2 to 3 times the price for the same maintainence. He doesnt have the 20+ mechanics salaries to pay for, their retirement plans to pay for, or all the mechanics families health insurance plans to pay for like your average dealership does.. this man just simply does the work to fix your vehicle himself at the same level of quality for a much lesser price. I now live an hour from the shop and still tow my cars to him to be fixed because such a straightforward and honest mechanic is very hard to come by nowadays.

No test drives without cash in hand. Never experienced this with any dealer in my life. Im a grown man that wanted to drive for hours to see this car cause I was that interested, this car is a $10k rebuilt titled Honda. No one wants to waste hours of their day for a joyride, I have driven this car before as well. Doesnt make sense to me and thinks its a horrible business move

Does the same work as the dealer at a very reasonable and fair price. In some cases will do the work that dealers won’t because they want to charge more and Sergi will do what it takes to fix the issue and save you money. The best! My car was a few miles from falling apart and he made it feel completely brand new. He rebuilt my transmission completely and even saved me money in the process.

The owner is a great person! I had a small dent on the door edge of a 2019 es350 and he advise me its going to cost some money to repaint the door if want to be perfect, but he fixed like 90% with some simple tool and did not charge me anything. Will definite take my car to him if any work is need in the future!

Sergi is an honest, fair man. I was in an awful situation and trying to drive cross country for a new job and make it to a family’s house on the west coast on time For Thanksgiving. My car broke down after I had just had another mechanic in Chicago fix it. Sergi was so kind, understanding and empathetic. He went out and got the parts I needed himself and took the care and time to make sure there were no other issues. I made it to California safely and I couldn’t have done it with out Sergi. Wonderful work done by Sergi. Extremely impressed by the work done. Very honest with pricing as well as work that needs to be done. Was done at the exact time he said he was going to be done. Did a timing belt and serpentine belt as well as a water pump replacement. His quotes were the cheapest i could find around the area. Very reasonable with quality work.

This place is a blessing. We brought in our Nissan Quest MiniVan with a mystery condition that no one could solve and Sergei solved it fast and justly priced. First time I was here was for a simple task of putting on new headlights it was done in a timely manner and didnt cost much.. When i needed serious work done Sergery found the best solution and worked with in my budget. He is honest and he let me know exactly where and why i needed certain work done on my car. My family has used this auto shop for my auto services for over 10 years. The owner does all work himself with reliable quality and fair in price. My 1998 Acura CL with 210,000 mileages on it and 2013 Honda Odyssey with 195,000 still run under the maintenance done in this shop! I would recommend this shop to my relatives and friends.

I took my car to get a estimate at service kings and they said it needed 2500 dollars worth of repair. I took my car here he tells me all I need is a washer and some screws and he even fixed a piece no charge. If I ever need anything done to my car definitely coming back here again!

If you love your car and want it done right for less than what the dealership will charge you, Maliys is the place to take your ride! I made the mistake of bringing my Audi Quattro convertible to Serafins Garage in Joliet first for a coolant leak. After two times to the original mechanic for the same problem not fixed right, I brought it to Maliys who diagnosed the leak was from the same place Serafin repaired and that as much as he would love the work I should go back to Serafins and demand warranty coverage. I did and it was made worse. So I brought it to Maliys who cleaned up the other guys mess and fixed it right. 6 months later and no problems! Maliys is honest, fair, and reasonably priced. Again, if you love your car, take it to Maliys...the first time.

He is the ONLY one I truly trust to work on my car and after learning an expensive lesson recently I was reminded of why I drive as far as I do to have the work done here. Maliys Auto is the place to go for any and all repairs or service that you need. Sergi is an excellent and honest mechanic. He will make sure that the work is done right and in a timely manner. He does not overcharge you. Sergi will also let you know if any service is actually really needed at the time. I brought my Audi A6 to him for 100,000 mile service and he said that the spark plugs were good for now and could wait awhile. He also saved me $3K for work that was needed because I took it to him verses the dealership.
