Unfortunately, I have not had a good experience with Accurate Tax. Prior to using Accurate Tax this year, we had always used HR Block. The only reason that we made the change to AT (Accurate Tax) was because the man whom had done our taxes at HR block for years retired and we were in search of someone who we felt just as comfortable with. While the man that we worked with at AT was very personable, the service that we received was poor.After filing with AT it took a couple of weeks for them to actually submit our taxes (when we were told that it would only take a couple of days). I had to contact AT several times before I even received an explanation as to why it was taking so long. Many phone calls were made with no return calls. Once we finally did hear back, AT admitted that they didnt have the correct paperwork for us and were waiting to receive it before submitting our taxes to the IRS and State. This was just the start of our problems with AT. Weve had to jump through many hoops with both the state and the IRS and we have still yet to receive our federal return. Weve requested assistance several times from AT. Each time, they have been reluctant to help. They recently finally did call the IRS to inquire about what was happening with our return. Based on what information we have received the IRS gave AT inaccurate information in regards to why our return still has not been approved. When I informed AT of this and requested that they call the IRS again with the information that they needed, they were rude and told me that they have no control over the IRS.This is the first bad review that I have ever written about a company, but considering how poor of service weve received from AT, I felt it necessary so that others are aware before they consider using them for services. Never have we ever had any issue with filing our taxes in the past. While it may be a coincidence that this is happening the first year that we have used AT, their poor service and unwillingness to help is the larger problem at hand. I would suggest looking elsewhere before you settle with Accurate Tax.

Adrian at Accurate Tax Service has been doing our taxes for 18 years. He does a great job and even makes it fun! We look forward to seeing him each year, but still cross our fingers that we don’t owe the government too much. I can highly recommend using Accuate Tax for your accounting needs.

Expensive, and quoted me over a grand less than turbotax. Along with unanswered questions. Not very knowledgeable.
