Just had my first visit. Andrew was very pleasant and professional. I think he did a very thorough job. So far it seams like he did a really great job with the pests.

Despite requesting advanced notice in anticipation for service to be performed, I am always caught off-guard lately. As a result, service expectations are not met. I used to be happy with Orkin but I am begining to have second thoughts. The agent, however and when given the opportunity, does a great job while on site.

When I initially called to make the appointment the person I spoke to was very professional and knowledgeable. The person who showed up at my house seemed like she was new to the job. She didnt seem sure of what to do and she had no plans to spray my kitchen cabinets even after I had been told to empty them because this was part of the service. Im a little disappointed in the service I received. It wasnt worth the price I paid. Im hopeful that future visits will restore my faith in Orkin.

The issues at my house are challenging to an exterminator, and I appreciate the techs from Orkin who are professional, courteous, and are willing to work with all the quirks. The new tech, Dave did a great job, and was kind and thorough, and spared me the gory details, which I appreciated!

I called and scheduled an appointment, though they had to reschedule the initial appointment they rescheduled very quickly. The technician was very professional and personable. He answered all questions concisely and with thoughtfulness. 10 out of 10 would recommend

Bob was very friendly, informative and thorough. We went from feeling uncertain and sort of grossed out, to confident and relieved during his visit. He explained things really well and we have a strategy that we feel good about for our pest issues.

I called Orkin to deal with the carpenter bees that have taken up residence in my deck railings and have become increasingly aggressive over the last month. Orkin was able to schedule me in quickly and took care of the area that I knew was infested as well as the entire exterior of the house—at the roof and foundation levels—to ensure that the bees werent boring into other areas. Ill be paying close attention over the next couple of days to see what kind of activity, if any, is going on with them. Orkin assured me that if the bees show up again, they will be back to spray, at no additional charge, through the end of the year. My technician was prompt, professional, and able to answer all questions I had. I will definitely use them again should other pest issues arise.

Service was excellent. he added mouse attractant to the traps in the garage and a few hours later a mouse was caught. The rest of the visit was spraying the house and area with repellent.Our problem is in scheduling the quarterly visit in a short timeframe without consulting with us. The home they service is our second home and we are not there full-time.

The young lady who came was very nice and understanding. The visit had been rescheduled and the service lady wasnt informed. The tenant wasnt home. The young lady cone ntacted the landlord an was able to do her work. I must say it was nice that the young lady took the initiative to get in touch with me, the landlord. Keep up the good work but please utilize communication.

I used them initially for carpenter ants, which had excellent results. I kept a spring-summer-fall schedule for smaller ants and other insect deterrent. I havent had a wasp or inside insect on their watch. My only issue is that I still have small ants in the yard, but I have sandy soil, so I will probably never get rid of them.

We paid almost $400 for them to treat for roaches we picked up from an Airbnb. They promised a moneyback guarantee and to return if the problem was not resolved within 30 days. While they were able to get there almost immediately for the initial appointment they became mysteriously booked and hard to get ahold of when we called for them to come back for a second treatment during the 30 days. It was near the end of our 30 days before they could come back and though I was reassured by the 1-800 line that they would keep coming back until the roaches were gone even after the 30 days that was not the case. After that the inspector no showed and they wanted us to pay again even though the bugs were never eradicated in the first place.

The Orkin team that performed the services at my home were highly educated in their trade. The two technicians, Megan and Dan, were thorough in explaining how the pest control procedures work. Attending to my every concern with my home. They also informed me on how to maintain my problems after they treated my home. The cost was even less than what I was quoted.Thank you Megan and Dan!!!

Worked well last summer, so having the service again this year. Prices are up about 25% over last year, though. Blame this and everything else you are paying more for on CoViD, but its more because of bad government policies, printing too much money and shutting down the supply chain that inflation is rising again.

The Pittsfield office and our exterminator, Bob, have been unfailingly courteous, responsive, flexible, and reliable. They communicate well and clearly, and we are pleased with the results so far, at a house in the country where mice and other critters are ubiquitous and inevitable. We just want to limit their intrusions into our space which is an intrusion into their space, humanely, and Orkins helping us do that effectively.

I had called and gotten a next day appointment set up. They call me less than an hour before said appointment, to tell me that the call center had made a mistake and no one could come out for 2 more weeks. So now, after getting my hopes up that my issue would be resolved in ONE day, it will now be weeks before these bugs get out of my house. Very very disappointed.

Andrew services my house and he is always professional and knowledgeable. Anytime I have had an issue(which is typically ants around the spring time) he always calls me back. I have a dog too which he always keeps in mind of his safety. Any questions I have he answers. He takes care of the problem right away. I’m very happy with their service. Definitely worth the price to keep my house rodent and bug free! Living by the water, I typically can see large rats and mice. Since I have started using Orkin I have had no signs of rodents! Im writing this over a month after orkin was at my home. I was hoping my problem would somehow be solved and it wasnt actually what it seemed (nothing really done but set cheap mouse traps). Tech arrived late with little to no enthusiasm Gary or Jerry? Sat in truck on phone for over 20 minutes after I informed him I had somewhere to be shortly (timing would have been fine if they showed up between time window I was given). Set 8 mouse traps in basement, said didnt need to look in attic (even though I can hear mice in my walls at night on 2nd floor). Then took a whole 2 minutes to do a thorough check of outside of my house to locate where the mice are coming in. Told me couldnt find any holes (maybe if he didnt power walk around my house and actually looked) and they would double check in the spring. So I paid over $200 for some wooden mouse traps and to be told mice will continue to get in and theyll worry about that in the spring. Guess orkin uses the word professional very loosely. Will be calling other companies. After a month I still wake up to mouse poop in my kitchen, garage, and can still hear them in walls. Dont be fooled by these guys. Very disappointed.

Andrew has been our specialist since we started using Orkin at least 10 years ago, and we couldnt be happier. He always works around our schedule and promises to come back before the next scheduled visit if needed. So far however, we havent had to ask him to do that since he is very thorough treating both the inside and outside of our home.Customer service is quick to pick up the phone, an unusual quality now-a-days. Their representatives are courteous and efficient. All in all, we are satisfied customers.

I feel that were in good hands and if ever need help getting rid of more pest. Orkin will be the first place to call.

I am pleased by the actual physical services provided. But on several occasions have been disappointed by the lack of effective communications. When dealing with rental properties, its necessary to schedule with tenants not just the building owner.

I signed up with Orkin to spray for carpenter bees. It is prominent in my request for service.

Our tech Bryan Snyder is superb. Knowledgable, eager to do work, knows our property well, very efficient and professional. He takes his job with a great attitude of importance which i think is admirable especially during our environmental crisis times.

My only regret is not having called sooner. I use my basement as a home gym and had avoided going down there because of the spiders and insects. I started using the service in the Spring of 2019 and have not had a spider problem. Great staff providing consistent service!

Called to inquire about an inspection On a Monday. Girl was really nice and professional when setting up the appointment over the phone. Appointment was made for Tuesday, the next morning . I was informed that a tech by the name of Daniel would arrive between the hours of 8am and 10am. Also told the inspection was “free” and that a report would be generated with any recommendations and at that point I could decide to move forward.I had to wake up significantly earlier (due to my work schedule) so felling exhausted on little sleep and now 10:30 on Tuesday morning. I’m waiting for the tech to arrive. No tech. No Daniel. No show. No sleep. Called ORKIN and was transferred to the local office Pittsfield, Ma. Lady answers and I Tell her my name, address, situation blah, blah, blah... had to repeat because she was not listening... then the kicker... she gets defensive and begins to tell me all the reasons that the girl I spoke with the previous day could not possibly schedule the inspection for me. So now your just passing the buck and acting like I called McDonalds to make an appointment with ORKIN????So they had my info in the computer but No appointment. They we’re going to allow me to sit here all day spending my day off watching the clock and twiddling thumbs because I have nothing better to do... extremely disappointed, frustrated, tired.. Very poor internal communication and no accountability or consideration for the customer. Not good for your business..

The first man that came didnt put much bait down I was disappointed to see he didnt do his job correctly. I had to go out and purchase bait boxes to make up for the lack of bait. Today someone else came for my second visit. He could see no bait had been put down and rectified the situation. He put bait and glue traps down so we can see what is going on from here on out. He was polite and sorry for the man who came first.
