Lots of bargains. Lots of free parking. And lots of empty shelves and product still in boxes in the aisles. Busy store, should hire more help.

Due to the pandemic it is almost impossible to have a positive shopping experience right now. I personally was very thankful that this place was one of very few to have an open restroom for its shoppers and it was clean. Lately, if I find myself in need of a restroom I have to discontinue my shopping and head home just to use a bathroom which is sometimes very inconvenient. My only complaint about my in store experience today herewas that there was only one register open with a long line and the only cashier at this register was training another employee so each customer had a longer than average wait without the option of moving forward to another open register if the trainee needed extra instruction during her learning the pos system. Overall the store is well stocked but there was a lot of merchandise out on the floor still in boxes that I had to push out of my way to get to the desired shelf to pick out what item I wanted to purchase, one of my biggest pet peeves.

Efficient. selection, great performance and plenty for the few that were working.

The new mgr,there has totally cleaned up the store, I live near by and go there often and the store has been in bad shape for a long time,I was so surprised to see it looking so good I asked her name and she is the mgr I think its jessica,I had to tell you because she deserves to know her hard work is noticed in a great way!!!

The store on West Housatonic St is always so messy with clutter all over the floor that you literally have to step over stuff just to walk down an isle..the one in Lansboro though is so much better and clutter free..it might be farther away but I would go there over the Housatonic store any time

Very very dirty. The isles were blocked by old boxes, clothes and other litter them.Get a tetanus shot before going in. you really need to.

If you need something quick if its there good place to grab it

Great spot for what you need and dont want to pay extra for from a convenience store. Helpful staff aswell and usually very organized except on delivery day it seems.

Cheap prices, messy store, lots of empty shelves, could used a good cleaning. In a pitch, I suppose you could buy here.

You can find so many things you need there.. The inventory is huge and its very rare when I cant find something that I need. The associates attitudes are all upbeat and very helpful..its our go-to place.

Pretty typical for its kind. Always busy, seldom drive by it when there are not several cars outside. Kinda indicates others find it useful. Good source for goods that are much higher priced elsewhere.

I Love Dollar General on West Housatonic St! I always find a good deal and Love My Brenna, Lauren and Joe teamwork makes the dream work!

For what it is...its a fine dollar store with a little of everything you might need

Very helpful. Cashier was very pleasant and answered any questions.

1st, their deli makes great sandwiches. 2nd the store has everything you need from seasonings to painting supplies. Very nice people. I recommend stopping by if your in the area.

All I can say is that this store is awful. You go inside expecting to find everything one dollar, but you quickly realize that Dollar General is one of those fake dollar stores and that they have items over $1.00. It is so annoying that stores like this exist.

Always courteous employees even on busy days and take time to talk a minute if they arent. The Pittsfield store crew keeps it clean and well stocked. Five 🌟s to all.😇

Store is cluttered like most DGs but its cheap and the staff are friendly. Lines can be long sometimes.

Every time ive gone into dollar general in pittsfield on Hubbard ave their store is all ways messy and not organized their is all was boxes in the aisle and its hard to find stuff in their because the items are not on the shelves
