Tom is the man. I discovered Tom after a bad experience at Elm Street Barber. He is a great person to talk to and gives great cuts. I’ve never felt more comfortable in a barbershop. He always walks through what I want with my hair. Booking an appointment is cake. I am very sad I have to move and find another barber all over again, but I needed to give Tom a shoutout before I left!If you want a great hair cut and fun conversation, you see Tom at Royal.

Today was the first time I ever went here for a haircut. I have to say that I got the best haircut that I have had in years. I am sorry I didnt find this place years ago. A few dollars more than other shops but well worth it. I have definitely found a new barber. Great job!

I dont care for stylists types of hair cutting places, so was happy when ilI discovered this many years ago. This is a traditional, old school barbershop with everything a man needs. Joe and Tommy are the best.

Tom and his father, Joe, are great guys to talk with. They also give one heck of haircut. You really cannot ask for better service. I’m glad to know them.

First-time customer and I got first-class service although I get the impression that Tom (owner/barber) always gives his clients the Royal treatment. This small shop on Fenn Street near downtown Pittsfield has been around quite some time (Toms grandfather and father cut hair in the very same location). My haircut was one of the best Ive ever received. Make sure to pose for a photo with Chewy, the shop mascot and the owners dog, and maybe youll find yourself showing off your new cut on their website.
