I don’t know about you but sometimes when I go to specialty stores I feel like a fish out of water. Not here. They took me under their wing, tested my pool water for free, professionally educated me, and picked economical products that suited my needs for the present and future. I also couldn’t believe the amount of products and supply they had too. You really can’t go wrong in giving this store a try once and go from there.

Friendly and super knowledgeable staff. My pool water has always stayed crystal clear because the staff will give great directions and they truly believe in the products they sell. They have never steered us wrong, but will never force something you dont need and they will show you multiple solutions and let you choose what you are most comfortable with.When we got out pool originally last year, they gave us a quote on a pool. Well after the initial quote I said that was over what I was comfortable paying. I told them my price range I was comfortable with and they got back to me within the day with a pool package I was comfortable with and purchasing. Mind you this was during the beginning of the pandemic and everyone was buying pools for there homes. So they could have easily just moved onto the next customer for a more expensive sale.They created a loyal customer because of the attention they pay to the customers and understand the difficulties of owning a pool and will help you out whenever you are in need.

We don’t have a pool but needed rafts for a lake!! In the middle of summer you still had so many choices and an awesome sale that I even got myself one. 5total for less then $50 VERY NICE!!We sure miss our pool and smelling all the chlorine made it hard not to buy a hole system!!Someday maybe we will and will come to you!!

Walked in 20 minutes before they were closing and they were friendly and very helpful despite the time. Did a water test for our pool and gave us a ton of information and explained everything in regard to chemicals for our pool.Very friendly, helpful and took time to educate us on caring for the pool. Will definitely continue to buy products here

I am a brand new, first time pool owner so I have many questions. The Valley staff has always made me feel welcome and have gone above and beyond to help me gain confidence as a pool owner. And everyone is just so friendly. Cannot recommend them enough.

Jake was fantastic to work with to obtain my pool heater. I give him six stars. The online payment program that they are using is cumbersome and needs some fine tuning. Yet, when I ran into issues with the program, there was no one to contact to rectify the issue. I give the program one star or less. I will see you this weekend Jake for the big sale!

Though Ive wanted one for years, I never thought owning a hot tub would be an actual reality. Between upgrading electrical, finding the right fit for our space and budget, and actually seeing the project through - I assumed it would forever be a dream. But then, just three short weeks ago, I decided to actually visit a store. After shopping the likes of Wayfair and Costco previously, I assumed I would purchase this dream hot tub online. Katie and Matt at Valley Pool & Spa changed my mind. Their service was second-to-none. My husband and I stopped in on a Saturday and decided to complete the purchase the day after. The cost of the tub plus the added chemical bonuses, delivery, and overall service beat an online purchase hands down. After our purchase, we brought in a water sample and were walked through our chemicals protocol by Christine - another Valley Pool pro. I needed a new pump for my small pool, Not only did Valley have it I stock, but it was about half the price that sellers on Amazon were charging. When I got home and connected the pump, I found it was defective. I called Valley, and they immediately offered an exchange no questions asked. The replacement pump worked perfectly.

Great people needed a new pump they had 3 different options reasonably priced and were very knowledgeable! Even got me set up in the rewards program and I saved some money on my first purchase! A little farther than I prefer to travel for pool supplies! I live in gibsonia and my closest option is that A&#%ne place! I dont have that kind of money to pay those prices! Everyone at the McIntyre store was great! Chris helped set up my account and walked me through everything I would need for my in ground pool. Jeff helped me whenever I came back getting my order together and helping me load up my car. The manager helped with the Wells Fargo 0% promotion. The service was friendly, efficient, professional and very informative. We live about 5 minutes away and will be a steady customer.

I gave it a 4.5 Star out of 5 because overall my experience we very good. The guys over at the Valley Pool have been very helpful & our sales guy Matt in the Spa department was responsive and a nice guy to work it. The only issue I had was after repeatedly asking for a Tuscan Brown Tub he kept sending a bill for a black one. After we talked over the phone he promised I would get a Tuscan Brown tub but I noticed that he never changed the color on the billing & yes when my Tub arrived after waiting several months, it was black, not the Tuscan Brown that we had prepared for especially with our paint job. But its the middle of a pandemic so we didnt make a fuss of it & I highly recommend the North Hills store they are great people, even Matt is a great guy! You just have to get him to pay attention to your details! The delivery team were two guys great guys!

I called every pool place that came up on my phone noone had pool liners and everyone was rude about it just before I was about to order it online this number came up I called with a million questions they was very nice held on while I measured my pool sent me a link to buy and then I picked it up 3 days later when I said my name they actually remembered me which makes u feel important even though this place is way out of my area I will go here for all my needs the store was huge and clean and im pretty sure they have everything I want thank u

Love this place. Shopped for years at Alpine but this place is much more user friendly. The staff is attentive and I have never left unhappy. Exchanges/refunds of manufacturer defects are almost too easy. Would definitely recommend this store for all your pool needs.

We have had nothing but trouble from Valley Pools while purchasing a pool. We put money down to reserve our pool. We would have paid in full, but we were leaving for vacation. When we returned from vacation, we called to pay the remainder and the sales associate said that they didn’t have the pool anymore (despite being told that putting money down was sufficient to secure the pool). After a few days, they called and said they found our pool. So we paid in full and even added on a heater and upgraded to a salt water package. We scheduled our delivery, excavation and installation. All seemed to be good. However, we just received a call today informing us that they don’t have our pool that is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. This is totally unacceptable. I will NEVER recommend Valley Pools to anyone.

The customer service at Valley Pool in the North Hills is absolutely amazing. We are first time pool owners and the staff at Valley Pool have been incredibly helpful and have a great deal of knowledge about the products they sell. We recently had an algae bloom in our pool and I was clueless on how to handle it. Chris went over it with me for about an hour and gave me step by step instructions on how to fix it. Within 24 hours my water was clear and the pool looked great. They always treat you like you are the only customer there. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my pool needs!

Katie (general manager) and her staff have been wonderful in taking the time to help with my pool this year. After three years, Ive gotten used to taking care of it, but they have given me tips and tricks, and their recommendations as per products have delivered for me every time. An example of a small way that I appreciate their customer service is the laminated opening, closing, and maintenance sheets that they give out - simple checklists to make sure I dont forget anything, and laminated copies mean I can use them poolside (where theyre necessary!) without destroying them and having to constantly print copies. Prices are always comparable or better (in my experience) to other local pool chains. The staff takes the time to make sure I have everything I need to complete what Im working on - most recently closing the pool - without an upset. For example, while closing, Katie asked me if I had experience plugging the filter outlet, because theres a tool that I needed to remove a part so I could plug it. Not only did she tell me about it, she had a filter outlet that she could take apart and show me exactly what to do, what the tool was, and how to use it. She then walked me over and pulled down the best combination deal off the shelves to ensure I had everything I needed. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Long wait to receive help, but could be related to COVID. Set up of purchased spa could also have gone better. I had a lot of questions that went unanswered. Would have been better to have someone show me how to work it once electric was connected, but had to fight through the manual and make calls to the store to figure out what some noises were and why lights would not go off

This review specifically comments on their Pool Closing service.I should note that my pool purchase and installation from them went very smoothly.I purchased the closing service in the hopes saving some personal time this year. In a visit with the store they explained the service to me and walked through the agreement of sale for the cost of $225. My understanding from the store representative as well as my reasonable understanding of the agreement of sale along with the questions I asked the Representative, made certain assumptions. Line 6 of the contract indicates they will remove the ladder, winterize the pump, filter, heater/heat pump, skimmer, return light and feeder. There is an additional service available to chemically clean those components for an additional $60. Feeling chemical cleaning was unnecessary I opted not for that service. Additionally Section 4 of the contract suggests I must supply outside electrical outlets and a garden hose for the pool cleaning. Anticipating this should be pretty seamless I went to work that day and mention to my wife that they would be coming to perform all this work. Upon arrival the service representatives said that they did not need a hose. Seemed strange since one was requested (Section 4) and as outlined above, assuming winterizing the filter meant taking apart and clean the cartridge, one would need a hose. To make this story shorter they were on site for less than 30 minutes. They covered the pool, disconnected the lines and simply carried my filter to the garage. Never took it apart to hose out the cartridge. My propane heater, which was already disconnected from the propane source, was simply left outside and tape put over the lines. Water remained inside the bottom arrived home. Additional language in Section 6 of the contract states ALL equipment will be stored in a designated area provided by the customer. Seems that didnt include the heater. I called and spoke with Julie in Service asking questions and portraying this as I have here. I was told that this is how they do it, some services do more some services do less. Having pointed out everything as I have here I was met with placating compassion and, although they did offer to come back out and move the heater when they are in my area.. I indicated I had already moved everything and cleaned everything that I expected them to do I asked for some consideration of credit. There was no interest in it was suggested that I go back to the store and talked to the people who sold the the service.So this review of them specifically around the closing service suggests buyer beware. And obviously Im not a candidate for their opening service following season. A very disappointing experience.Should you decide to risk your money as I have, request written edits and confirmations on the contract in the form of what they will do and what they wont do very specifically. your very unlikely to get any understanding or compassion from them.

I began going to Valley Pool last year when they opened a new store close to my home.I was pleasantly surprised how very personable every customer rep was, as well as extremely knowledgeable of all pool needs and their products.Thanks for your service, my pool was corrected after I followed their exact recommendations.
