Great company to work with! I myself booked a load through them that was 3 pickups and 1 drop. All the picks were easy and quick as the broker told me. I was contacted by a fair freight employee at the a pointment of every pick up and made sure that everything was going great. Everyone I talked to was friendly and honest. Did a load for this company and was a bonded shipment from the New Jersey port going into Canada. They had no clue how to get this load across the border so we did all the leg work for them which is ok with me, but when our driver gets stopped at the border for over an hour for an inspection(more than likely because of the in-bond shipment) our driver wants to be paid for his waiting time. Especially with new E-logs. So after doing all this work for this company and arriving to the shipper and receiver on time they refused to pay $50 compensation for our driver at the border. The owners response was its only 1 hour so were not paying it very unprofessional so dont expect much from this company.response to owner.i dont know what carriers you usually deal with but there is no grace period for detention at the border. when the driver arrives if its not clear that is on the customs broker or the client of yours, which would be billed through your company since your a 3rd party. TBH the 1 hour at the border is not a huge deal, its the fact that you could care less about drivers time and shrug it off like its nothing. clearly shows how you do business. also i clear multiple shipments a day and my drivers are RARELY ever stuck at the border. so if your saying we do border crossings all the time,1.5 hours wait time isnt that bad at all. its shows that your clearly not doing something right because my drivers are RARELY ever stuck at the border. you def left a bad impression. good luck on your future business though..............
