We held our rehearsal dinner here this past weekend. Ashley Barna is a saint and helped us through our event together at the last minute. Her attention to detail shows through everything she has a hand in. The food was excellent and the service was good. I highly, highly recommend Ashley and her team for any event!

Our wedding at The Rivers Club on 6.26.21 turned out lovely. Guests were very complimentary of the club’s food. We were also pleased with the bar service at our wedding. Everything came together quite nicely for our ceremony and reception. Ashley, the club’s wedding coordinator, helped us organize both. She set up the reception site and made it beautiful. She and the other employees helping out with our wedding were friendly and accommodating and did their best to make our day run smoothly! We got many positive reviews from friends and family. Both my husband and myself would recommend this venue to future brides and grooms.

Excellent experience for my daughters wedding - such a cool modern downtown vibe - the food and drinks/bar were the best ! service the best- all so easy ! Ashley did a superb job - so highly recommend!!

Condescending staff. How they treat paying locker members is very telling. My guests and I always receive subpar treatment. No wonder they barely have black members. They treat them bad on purpose so they can leave. Hanging up on members and telling members they can’t dine past 7 pm. What a joke. Save your money and don’t join if you’re black.

Great for kids but they get you with the food, 15$ for adding eggs to à kid pancakes meal. Also clearly my fault but never got the omlet its not anywhere near close to worth it. Small, and few ingredients added for the price tag. Ik it includes the starter and desert for 35 but the other meals where like 2 steaks and potatoes, disappointed to say the least lol but it was still a great time kids loved it thats what Matters easter bunny was amazing and had a bounces house.

Went for a meeting. Great meeting room, good food, and great service. Very attentive staff (although theyre not terribly busy at the moment). So, if you need a place to have a meeting downtown, Id recommend it.

Almost every positive review you see here is from someone who was a guest one time or went to one event. As a member here for years I assure you, this establishment does not deserve 5 stars.

The gym is great lots of machines and great squash courts. The new resteraunt is amazing and has a great view!

Great space for meetings, tailored to your group size along with nice variety of menu selections. My lunch meal was delicious. I had the buffalo chicken egg roll to go with my scallop dish. The rest of our group enjoyed the lunch buffet, with all being pleased with their selections.

I love this place. The renovation are amazing the staff is wonderful, and Erin in membership is extremely helpful.

Great place to workout. The classes are fun, challenging, and will definitely leave you sweating. Everyone working here is awesome and very helpful! I definitely recommend!!

Attended an event here a few weeks ago and loved the venue. This was a wedding so I am not sure how the food is normally but the place was clean and I would have no issue booking it

The bar, restaurant, and all other facilities were very nice. I was only a guest, but it felt very high-class. I had a good time while I was there.

Ive been trying to cancel my membership since January and they have charged me every month since. The food is mediocre at best besides the salad bar.

Very poor customer service by Membership Department! Attempted to cancel membership multiple times, was told account had a sizable credit- went to use credit and told unavailable because no longer a member!

Very nice venue for business meetings and smaller-sized conferences. Monthly membership price is very reasonable and provides business members with a downtown office alternative. Gym facilities are very nice as well.

Really bad experience with the membership staff. Still to this day have never received a membership card. Very dismissive of member feedback as well. Walked down from the office to get lunch the other day and they were closed? Leaving for somewhere more welcoming that cares about their customers.

Staff and food always awesome! Great place for lunch and dinner! They have nice events for young kids. We would highly recommend Rivers Club to anyone.

The Rivers club is located downtown on Grant street. Its a perfect location for us, as well live in the North Side and can walk there on nice days or park for free after 6 on week days. It is never too crowded and is kept well cleaned.

Intimate space yet comfortable. Nice entertainment and information networking for businesses and organizations.

Went with my in laws who are members of an associated club. Worst food I have ever paid so much for. Terrible server that the manager had to keep doing her job. There was nothing vegetarian on their menu so I ordered the soup of the day and asked for the chef to make a vegetarian main course. The waitress asked if risotto was alright, so I assumed thats what was coming. My soup didnt come out with the other starters and was cold when it did. I didnt even eat it. My main course ended up being over cooked pasta without anything but mushy vegetables. No sauce, no cheese. Skip this and go have a much better meal for way less at Olive Garden or similar

Absolutely terrible. Most incompetent waitress I have ever seen. Kept talking to my wife and forgetting what we ordered. Menus were wrong, couldnt make an old fashioned, couldnt remember our bottle of wine, brought us decaf coffee when we asked for regular because we probably didnt want to be up all night, bad cut of beef trying to pass as a filet, scrawny lobster tails, etc. the best thing I had was the cheesecake, which Im sure they bought because it was actually edible. The building is also really sketchy, we had to walk down 4 flights of escalators that werent on anymore to leave. Dont waste the money, SO not worth it.

Recently remodeled which was needed, but its an odd layout. The food is just ok, I wouldnt eat there if I were paying (Ive been to several events hosted there). The dining room floor shakes as though one was experiencing earthquake aftershock when there is an exercise class being held on the floor below (super sketchy). And one can hear the aerobics instructor shouting to his or her class from the surrounding floors. If given the choice, I wouldnt return unless I absolutely had to.

Nice modern atmosphere. Prefer the prior decor. Food choices somewhat limited.
