My daughter saw Michelle Geckle, M.A., LPC yesterday. She has been battling depression since her senior year of HS. She is now 21. She has been in counseling on and off for the past several years. She has had trouble finding a therapist that she is comfortable with. While seeing Ms. Geckle yesterday for the first time, Ms. Geckle told her (when she asked my daughter how long she has been in counseling) that maybe it was not the counselors that she has been seeing, but maybe it is herself that is the issue. Right now, in her current state of mind, SHE IS THE ISSUE! That is why she sought your help in the first place! WHY in the world would you say something like to someone battling depression, especially on her first visit! HOW uncouth and unprofessional can you be? She came home in tears! Needless to say, my daughter will not be returning to see Ms. Geckle or anyone associated with North Hills Psychological Services P.C. PS) I only gave this review one star since you had to at least give one in order to post. Otherwise, I would not have given an stars!
