I appreciate the information Joel shared during the Bayer Center training. He offered good information in the short amount time allotted for the training. His humor and honesty was much needed as well as helpful. Given the platform, he kept everyone engaged and was very interactive.

Joels approach to sales was perhaps more so an approach to people, which I found welcomed and refreshing. His course was a dive into understanding how you as a person handle situations, which is a tell on your approach to relationships with people and prospective customers. Joel was able to keep a bunch of startup founders engaged on Zoom for 2 hours straight - which is a difficult thing to do! The class was insightful for breaking down my own personality and working style, as well as teaching me how to most effectively work with/sell to people whose personalities are vastly different from my own. Would recommend!

Having spent countless hours in various sales trainings over my career, I had become skeptical of the usefulness of sales training in general. It seemed to me that all sales techniques all boiled down to basic principles: Listening well, identifying peoples needs, and crafting solutions that answered those needs. However, the various sales methods I was exposed to seemed to simply add a layer of techniques and even tricks that I felt were gimmicky and even counterproductive. But, after meeting Joel and talking with him, I felt he was different in his approach - more authentic even - and so I took the leap and brought him in to our team for trainings. Im glad I did, as it was clearly beneficial. Since then, our professional paths have crossed again and I continue to hold him in high regard as a real asset to our regions professional community. In other words: If you have the opportunity to work with Joel, do it!
