I have only had 3 Barbers in my 31 years cut my hair. When my last barber retired during Covid, I stumbled on Mecs page and decided to give it a shot. I called The shop and they decided since I was new, theyd give me their new barber, Jeff, that just moved to the city. I have now been to Mec a couple of times and have left each time very happy. The shop is very clean, the barbers all have a great moral with each other and the staff at the front desk are always happy to help and always there with a smile to greet you. I am happy to say Jeff is my 4th barber and I will only be seeing him until either of us move! Absolutely happy I found Mec and Jeff!

Got me in last minute, and Jon was ready when I arrived. Showed him pictures of what I wanted and went above and beyond. Very pleased with the quality of the haircut and service.

The person who cut my hair did not seem to care about how I wanted it styled and did whatever she wanted. She also seemed to be in a hurry, trying to get me out of there as fast as possible. The hair cut turned out good but was still slightly shorter then I told her I wanted it. Overall I was expecting a great haircut from a mens barber shop and instead got a haircut from a salon stylist who tried to and seemed very uncomfortable being a barber.

We adore Candace at Mec Modern Barbering. She is so kind and genuinely happy all the time. I can always count on a fantastic cut for my son every time we visit. Candace comes HIGHLY recommended in our book!

Candice is amazing! She really listens to what you want and makes you feel at home in the chair. I have been looking for someone to consistently cut my hair and she perfected it, even helped me with every-day care in styling my hair. I had the normal anxiety that is associated with going to new barber, but as soon as I arrived, I was taken care of. They were very helpful in aiding me in the process of my cut and also talking about other revolving topics that came up. Highly recommend this place.

Had a great haircut here. Mec is a small part of a salon for mens haircuts. They do everything you would expect from a barber but are much more willing to match a particular style if you have something interesting in mind. A nice experience, I was offered a drink while I waited.

I love the staff here. I usually get there a little early, crack open a beer and have some chat with the staff before my appointment. Its pricier than a regular mens barber shop, but you get a decent cut.

I always get a great cut and a free beer (or two) at MEC McMurray. Tiffann is the best and does a great job maintaining a hard part and a mohawk for my two boys as well. Always a good experience....check her out!

Went in to give it a try, 3 girls doing nothinga at the front desk, 2 people in the barbershop and they tell me they cant take me at all today. Arrogance to say the least. Overpriced and get over yourself.
