I have to say, living here was a real breath of fresh air. I have lived in several other apartments in the South Side and none come close to this. The apartments are of high quality, have thick walls, and nice finishes. I am very sensitive to noise and I have not once heard noise from my neighbors. The building has tons of charm and is well kept. The large windows are very nice as well. Maintenance was always fast and polite. Sharon, the property manager, was fantastic. She is kind, quick to respond to emails and was helpful with anything I needed. If you are looking for a nice place in Pittsburgh, I highly recommend living here. This place really is great.

Perfect location and the building manager is awesome! He often hosts parties with free local food and beer from local breweries. The apartments are gorgeous with spacious rooms and are updated but maintain the character of the school. The outdoor area is great for hanging out and they offer community fire pits and grills to use. Brad is always available and the app makes maintenance requests easy to submit. The building is dog friendly and you also have in unit personal laundry, two rare finds! I highly highly recommended:)

Great management, wonderful location (easy access to downtown and all highways) and beautiful apartments. The management is always willing to help and responds to any concerns or problems in less than 24 hours. The apartments are beautiful and spacious. Couldnt have asked for a better experience for three years in Pittsburgh!

The new management company has been really proactive at replacing our appliances with new ones, and Its really makes a difference. I also appreciated how careful they checked all of the maintenance issues BEFORE I moved in so I didnt run into problems while actually living there like I had previously. Ive lived in the building for about 3 years now and as reluctant I was to the shift in management as I was at first, its definitely been for the best. The friendly staff, free coffee stand, outdoor seating/grills are also just a few of the added perks too.

Love living here! They did a wonderful job updating the courtyard with new fire pits, lights and chairs. I also love the new coffee station in the lobby-- makes my morning much easier that Im not rushing out to get to a coffee shop before work.

After over a year living at the Residences of South High, I can safely say that this is the worst managed apartment complex I have ever experienced. The total lack of security (highlighted by a squatter who was able to steal many personal items out of the mail room and secured indoor garage) along with complete disregard for tackling maintenance requests was the trigger for having to leave. On top of that, fees were taken from our security deposit for having to paint holes made by hanging pictures. The apartment was left in immaculate condition with all holes filled and sanded and we were told point blank by the building manager that we were not supposed to paint. There are so many new and fantastic options on the other side of Carson street that should be looked at before even considered the Residences at South High.

I am a tenant at the Residences at South high, and I would like to express my gratitude to Brad and Charles for all their help and warm welcome to my new place. I have been living here for past 2 months and i can assure anyone wishing to move in to this place to do it without any hesitation because you wont regret it simply because it is really a great place to live in with great management team. The manager Brad is a very nice and warm guy and helpful about anything you throw at him. He had helped me with the moving process, gave me a tour about the apartment building twice and showed me the amenities therein. Also whenever I called him about anything he assists me and returns all my calls if he does not answer them immediately. I am also impressed and grateful to the maintenance guy Charles who has done many things for me even when it does not fall within his job parameters. Thank you so much Brad and Charles.

My boyfriend and I have lived at the Residences At South High for the past year and we are renewing our lease for another year. We have always had bad experiences with renting apartments until we moved here. The apartments are clean, the maintenance staff is always prompt to fix repairs, and the managing staff is amazing. Everyone is friendly and cooperative. In addition, having the option to have a parking space makes it easier to come and go, which is nice if you are in and out a lot! I also enjoy the gym downstairs because it saves me time from having to join a gym elsewhere and worry about packing a bag or showering somewhere besides my apartment. I highly recommend living here! The location is perfect and the experience has been awesome so far!

The Residences at South High is an excellent place to live on the south side. Weve been living here almost a year. Brad is an excellent property manager, and everything weve requested has been handled promptly. (Not that we have experienced any major issues.) The space is large, open, and beautiful. The walls are very sturdy so you dont hear your neighbors. There is a washer, dryer, and dishwasher in the apartment. The appliances are modern as everything has been built recently. There are stairs as well as elevator access. We have FIOS. The management company has hosted seasonal get togethers that enabled us to meet friends in the building. Its dog friendly and there is a small gym. Weve had a yoga class in the auditorium. There is paid parking in the garage and free parking on the street. The only recommendation would be to put a roof top patio in! Overall, a great place to live and I would highly recommend it.

DO NOT LIVE HERE! Please take my advice now and run away from this place as fast as you can!I first found out about The Residences at South High when I was looking for a place to live in the south side. Their website was very nice and had an application form to fill out for potential renters. I filled out the form and was contacted back by Christian, one of the employees. I had communicated with Christian for a week or two, and scheduled to view one of the apartments over the weekend. The weekend finally came around and I had gone down to have Christian show the apartment to me, only one problem... Christian was still in bed. I called him and he told me he was too tired to get out of bed and show me the apartment... It was 1pm on a Saturday... The guy completely blew me off and stayed in bed all day and basically told me to look around the place on the outside... I was in complete shock by the utter disrespect I received from this ignorant employee. I have nothing positive to say about this Residency, and I have heard nothing good about it since the incident. I have moved on since then and found a much nicer apartment at a more responsible price and with much more respectful employees.Overall, this place sucks and the employees are a complete disgrace. Shameful

This is a fantastic appartment community. The current management team has stepped in and has made a continued effort to address issues that the old management team was unable to figure out. The owner of the building is involved and works well with the management company. The property manager, Brad, does a great job dealing with issues that arise on a day to day. There are many exciting updates coming to this property. Its location is perfect and Carson street has a lot to offer steps away from the front door. This is a pet friendly community and Grandmas Doggie Day Care is a short walk or drive away. Simply put this is a great location and community where neighbors become friends.

I’m very happy I found this building! The people are great, and the apartments are all unique.
