Matt has been working with me for 3 weeks now. Thus far, he has over exceeded my expectations as a personal trainer. He has been attentive to my goals and brings a wealth of fitness knowledge. Matt has been helping me with confidence and has implemented routines and techniques while thoroughly explaining the bodys response to our workouts. Matt has provided me with education with form, safety, breathing, and overall purposes of the activities he plans. He is always punctual, prepared, and ready to provide me with encouragement and a session that gauges my abilities and limits. I am pleased with the on-going results and personalized touch. He comes highly recommended.

My girlfriend and I were looking for an alternative workout program from the traditional 5 days a week at your local gym. I did some research and came across MA Fitness (we chose the Pinellas park location). I emailed over about a drop-in class and received a friendly/prompt email inviting us to visit.This was my first time checking out anything besides the local steak gym, so I wasnt sure how I would like it.We met 2 trainers 15 minutes before class to learn the movements, get our gloves, and understand how the class works.The biggest thing that blew me away was the family atmosphere. 3-4 people walked up and introduced themselves, people that we ending up becoming friends with. My girlfriend was new to St Pete and she loved meeting some new people.Highly recommend this to anyone. If youre looking for something challenging with a family atmosphere. Some of the toughest workouts Ive done, but you go at your own pace.
If your looking to learn something new and get a killer workout this is the place. From the day I started it’s been a challenge but the instructors are awesome! They help you every step of the way, there encouraging, and full of energy. Marissa has been welcoming since day 1. I signed up for a month to test it out, and I’ll be signing back up again because of how great it’s been. I have recommended this place to anyone I know looking to try something new and have fun at the same time.

Loaded with state of the art equipment and motivated and experienced instructors you are in for the workout of your life without pressure! One of the best places to learn martial arts or get an incredible workout in, MA Fitness is definitely worth checking out and joining! High powered, fun workouts that challenge you to be better than you were yesterday. They have been super welcoming and this spirit fosters a really great attitude that is passed onto the students and everyone that trains there! WOW!!!If you are looking for a place that you can get a full body workout in 45 minutes and feel like you have physically given it your all this is the place. The high energy in the the room keeps you going.Every self-paced class is different.Its not uncommon to see instructors working out along side you in another instructors class.With the all the different programs offered (strength training, nutrition, self-defense, etc) its definitely a place no matter what your fitness level is you can find something to challenge you.

I absolutely love MA Fitness! I like the family atmosphere, meeting new friends and mostly love that I have seen so much change in my body composition and muscle mass. Not only have I noticed it but so have others. My stamina, flexibility and strength have all improved. I think that the kickboxing classes are the best 45 minute all over body HIIT workout. You burn a lot of calories, build muscles, and improve endurance. They also have strength training classes, ACTION Weight Loss Course, C.O.B.R.A Self Defense and classes for kids. You can take a free class to check it out to see if you like it. During each class you are encouraged to push yourself but at the same time reminded that the classes are self-paced so you do what you can do and dont worry about what somebody else around you may be doing. The staff is friendly and helpful. The facilities are clean. They actually have 3 locations to choose from - Pinellas Park, St. Pete and Clearwater.

Great energy with quality instructors.Im a 6th degree black belt and love supplementing my training at this place! The conditioning training helps me to stay competitive in tournaments.

I came across this place on groupon, wanting to get back in shape. Everyone is nice, the strength training coach was great, but the cardio kickboxing was meh. There are plenty of women in the class that were clearly more skilled in proper technique and could have taught the class. The instructor that led both times would chose ridiculous one armed combos while resting his hand on the top of the bag or dropped way low, squared off, not stepping, and not guiding anyone on form or technique. I got it, its cardio. The other gentleman there teaches self defense and this is what is representing him?
MA FITNESS is the best gym around, both locations are great! Come check them out and you wont regret it.
Heart pounding workout and a lot of fun. A great way to get in shape and stay in shape and a very friendly atmosphere.
This place and people are fantastic especially Matt. The training and exercise is just right challenging but not injury inducing like some other boxing MMA places.
Amazing workout - Ive been kickboxing for over 3 years and I never get bored and it kicks my butt every time!! The new location is so shiny and pretty, I love it!
